My daughter has attended Teddies since she was 11 months old. I was initially very anxious about being apart from her but the introduction days really helped with this. My main worry was about sleep as I had always nursed my daughter to sleep for naps. However, staff there really listened to my worries and I was assured to know that my daughter was cuddled to sleep by workers until she was ready to settle herself. I couldn't believe she could nap on her own but miracles happen in nursery. I was able to observe staff offering this to other children when I collected my daughter and I was so pleased to know they offered such a nurturing approach to children's sleep needs. My daughter is now 3 and loves nursery. I have seen her development come on fast, with her starting to walk only 2 weeks after starting, trying to keep up with the others. The staff are all so warm and friendly and I have always felt happy leaving my daughter in their care. The home cooked meals are an added bonus!

It's a lovely nursery, the staff are all so friendly and positive. They're really patient with the children. The food always smells and looks great, and the rooms are lovely and bright. It's kept clean and it's in a lovely leafy quiet street. I've recommended it to my friends and family and my niece and nephew attend with my kids.

I was so anxious about my son starting nursery however have felt so supported by teddies through the process. The baby room staff, managers and his key worker have been great from the moment we started settling in sessions. I've also noticed over the last few months how he has thrived with his speech, fine motor skills and understanding and I think so much of this is due to the work the staff put in with the children.

We couldn't be happier sending our son to Teddies. He has been attending for the last six months and sometimes is a little apprehensive to go, but is always met with such a warm welcome. All staff members seem to take the time to get to know him and what his interests are and we get a full update on what he has been up to during the day when we collect him. As a parent I feel very supported by the team from him first starting, putting my mind at ease and they are always there to answer any questions and ensure my child is getting the best care and feels safe and happy. I look forward to seeing any updates and photos on the app and seeing what he has eaten that day. Thankyou for looking after my son and helping him enjoy his day.

Our daughter is about to leave Teddies after more than three happy years. She's made some great frienships and really strong bonds with her carers and we will be so sad to leave. They've always kept us informed about any issues and have taken a lot of care with our daughters dietary requirements.

We're very happy at Teddies! Wonderful staff & facilities. Our little boy really enjoys it. The topics and activities they cover always sound really interesting and exciting. Love how we're kept well up to date with everything on the Bright Horizons App.

My son attends teddies and he has settled in well. He only started going at the start of the year and although he has found it a little difficult being left he's settling in well. All the team have helped my little boy so much. Big thanks to four members of staff, in particular, who always meet my son with a cuddle to help him settle in at drop off. I have found my son's speech has developed since attending the nursery. Updates on the app really help as I can tell me son what his day has in store for him. And so I can keep a check on how my son is doing. I really appreciate also that I can message on the app. Messages are always replied to quickly and in detail. Thank you team for being the best.

We moved house so my 2 year old had to change nurseries. It was simple and quick to book a tour. The worker who showed me round was passionate and friendly and it was all very genuine. The SENCO contacted me prior to my son starting as wanted to discuss some things on the registration form. We had a meeting very quickly and a support plan was formulated immediately. It was reviewed in the appropriate time frame and at regular intervals. The staff know my son well and got to know him very quickly. They work with me to help with the transition into nursery and are happy to do a cuddle to cuddle transfer. They understand my son's differences and cater to his specific needs. I like that you let yourself in and out of nursery without needing to knock or give notice. The entire place feels relaxed, structured but flexible. All the staff are smiley, chatty even if they don't work directly with my son. It's very easy to contact them and they get back to you when they say they will.

The care at Teddies has been incredible. The team has been very creative with the new daily activities for the babies in the baby group. The care team post on the app frequently throughout the day. This is a great way of feeling connected with the day-to-day activities your little one is up to.

It has been wonderful to watch my son develop and learn so much since he started at Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool. The carers are professional and well qualified but more importantly (especially for my son!) they are kind, attentive and encourage the children in all aspects of their learning. Everyone was so excited about a visit from two police officers and their police van earlier this month. The children loved it and it was a perfect example of how Teddies incorporate real-world learning with fun, tactile experiences. What kid doesn't want to sit in a police van with the sirens on? All the while gaining a little understanding of vocation, social and professional responsibility and that police people are there to help and keep people safe. Teddies are imaginative and innovative in their approach to children's learning and their care.

My child has excelled since joining Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool in 2023. The staff and the environment are wonderful. Communication between staff and parents is excellent with regular updates, feedback and images shared. We will be very sad to leave this year but feel well-prepped for the start of school thanks to the staff.

Our baby has only just started at Teddies but already we can see he's really enjoying it and his development is coming along in leaps and bounds in the last few weeks! We love how up-to-date and included we feel in his care, getting updates through the app multiple times a day on food, activities, nappies etc and regular observations with photos. The staff are all brilliant with him and approachable for us. The facilities are lovely and it's clear he has fun every day he's there.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 7 months old. He is very happy here and excited when he sees his key worker and peers. He has SEN needs and I feel the support given by the nursery SENCO is amazing, she definitely has his best interests at heart. As a Mum, I am supported with my son and I have regular updates regarding his progress. I was fully supported regarding deferring him going to school which has made the process a lot easier.

My daughter started in the toddler room at Teddies in April and they have been brilliant every step of the way so far. We were shown around by a knowledgeable and experienced member of staff whose passion for child development really came across. They did a long slow settle with my daughter, as she had been with a childminder previously, and did everything they could to help her settle in. The staff are friendly, patient and engaging with both the children and parents. The activities are engaging and have a nice balance of being child-led while encouraging development. The staff ask for children's current interests each month to help them plan activities which will engage the children. The app helps me feel informed as to how my daughter's day is going (what she's eating, nappies/toilet visits) and observations on focal areas for development. The outside space is on the smaller side but is packed with opportunities for creative play (mud kitchen, sand, water play, trikes) and socialising.

I collect my granddaughter every Thursday from Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool and it is lovely to see all the children engaged. My granddaughter is always so happy and talks very excitedly about all the fun activities that she has participated in at nursery. The staff are always friendly and approachable and are always happy to give feedback to me at the end of the session.

We have had two children attend Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool and have been really pleased with the standard of care they've both received. We get a lot of information via the app and also, the in-person handover at the end of the day. My son struggled a lot with separation at drop-off time and the staff were always on hand to help him settle in. The variety of activities and learning opportunities is brilliant, in particular, recent visits from an exotic animal specialist and beekeepers. The children spend time outside each day and the garden is brilliantly equipped with crafts, vehicles, loose parts and water play.

We sent our son to Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery and Preschool just before his first birthday. We were very impressed with the settling-in period and the efforts they made to welcome him and settle him into the new environment. He loved his time in the baby room with different tasks and themes each week. Food has always been good quality and varied, they made special meals for him whilst we worked out if he was struggling with beans or not. Their level of attention has continued in the toddler room which he loves. The activities are varied and the staff are brilliant and caring.

This nursery will always have my utmost appreciation, the girls who work here are absolutely incredible and I would always recommend this nursery to anyone. They take such good care of the children and always are so attentive to each child’s individual needs. I’m so grateful to our key worker because she’s just fabulous! All the girls in the toddler room are equally as amazing. At pick-up, they all pitch in and tell you everything about your child’s day, what they did, what they enjoyed, new words, how they ate, it’s so reassuring to go in and know that your child has had the best day, which he always does at this nursery! I would recommend everyone who’s looking to put their child in nursery to strongly consider this one, it’s the best in Sheffield by far, in my opinion!

A fantastic nursery. Our child is cared for and always loves her time spent here. The staff are super friendly and supportive, they are always willing to go above in their care. A wonderful variety of activities that make early development fun. Would recommend.

Teddies was recommended to us by another parent, which is always comforting and welcome when looking where to send your child. Our child started Teddies are nine months and has absolutely thrived whilst there - the activities provided, supportive and caring staff and delicious and nutritious meals. Whenever we have questions or concerns, behaviour or potty training for instance, the staff are always happy to take the time to discuss. We’re very happy with their services and plan to send our youngest children there when they’re old enough.
