Bright Horizons Maidstone Boughton Lane Day Nursery and Preschool is a proud Eco-friendly nursery, reflected in its achievement of the Eco Schools flag, proudly displayed outside the building.

The nursery emphasises fostering independence across all age groups. Rolling mealtimes are practiced in every room, and self-serving is introduced even in the Baby Room to encourage autonomy from an early age.

Children of all ages participate daily in Boogie Mites, an interactive music activity designed to enhance every child's learning and development, particularly supporting communication and language skills.

The nursery features two expansive outdoor spaces with large climbing frames, including a Castle and a Pirate Ship, providing endless opportunities for imaginative play and physical development.

And while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the nursery will keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep every parent connected with their child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time at the nursery.

For added convenience, drop-offs and pick-ups are made easy with accessible parking, a lay-by outside the nursery, and a spacious on-site car park.

We have a daughter who attends one day a week and has done so since she was 10 months old.


She has always been very happy to stay at the nursery which makes us feel comfortable to leave her.


She is becoming more social with other children and is experiencing different foods which is great.


Her

vocabulary is growing and the staff are very friendly.


We would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

My child was diagnosed with Autism and he has a communication delay. The preschool staff have been amazing!.
My son would not eat any food with sauce, so the staff made sure that he was given individually cooked food and if he didn't want anything else, they always give him bread/breadsticks to ensure
he doesn't go hungry.
He was given one to one attention, even before the funding was provided. Thank you all at Asquith Maidstone Nursery.

When my little boy initially started to attend he was having a very difficult time managing his behavior. The preschool staff were fantastic at working with me on strategies which we used at home to reward positive behavior. His behavior has gradually improved over the months to a point where he rarely
has outbursts of challenging behavior. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the staff at Maidstone Pre-School.

Our two children attend the nursery, one in the baby room, the other in the nursery room. We recently attended the family fun day we were invited to. The staff and nursery were exceptional on the day. We were able to experience and explore the nursery and pre-school at it's best. There is so much wonderful
space for the children, excellent resources, activities and opportunities for the children to play and thrive. We definitely made the right decision sending our children here, we feel part of it and always so welcomed. Thank you.

The staff are really happy and easy to talk to. My son is excited about the activities he takes part in, although I feel the farm could be used more. The outdoor space is great and my son loves all the food. Communication to parents is really good, but I would like to see more individual reviews with
parents to discuss my child's progress.

With over 15 years of experience in childcare, Luci began her journey as a Nursery Assistant, completing her NVQ Level 3 and progressing through various roles to become the Nursery Manager.


Her passion lies in creating a safe and secure environment for children, fostering their independence, and providing opportunities for them to grow into confident, capable individuals.


For Luci, the most rewarding part of her role is watching children grow and develop each day under her care.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2021

With 21 years of experience in childcare, starting as a Nursery Nurse and progressing to Manager, Lisa is now Deputy Manager at Boughton Lane Nursery, a role that allows her to spend more time with the children while also focusing on SEN (Special Educational Needs). She joined Bright Horizons in July 2021 and thoroughly enjoys being part of the team at the nursery.


Lisa is deeply passionate about supporting the staff and building strong connections with families. She finds great fulfilment in working with SEN children and takes pride in watching all children thrive during their time at the nursery.
