Bright Horizons Maidstone Boughton Lane Day Nursery and Preschool is a proud Eco-friendly nursery, reflected in its achievement of the Eco Schools flag, proudly displayed outside the building.

The nursery emphasises fostering independence across all age groups. Rolling mealtimes are practiced in every room, and self-serving is introduced even in the Baby Room to encourage autonomy from an early age.

Children of all ages participate daily in Boogie Mites, an interactive music activity designed to enhance every child's learning and development, particularly supporting communication and language skills.

The nursery features two expansive outdoor spaces with large climbing frames, including a Castle and a Pirate Ship, providing endless opportunities for imaginative play and physical development.

And while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the nursery will keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep every parent connected with their child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time at the nursery.

For added convenience, drop-offs and pick-ups are made easy with accessible parking, a lay-by outside the nursery, and a spacious on-site car park.

I have been overwhelmed with how fantastic the staff have bee since my son joined. They are so attentive and thoughtful. He struggles to settle in the morning and they go above and beyond to reassure me. I have noticed real improvements in his developments since joining. I am so pleased with my choice

My son recently started in the preschool of the nursery and although he can be clingy when he is first dropped off, he always comes home telling us about his new friends and the things he has been doing during the day. He absolutely loves his key person and I can't thank her enough for making sure he
is settled during the day.

Since starting at the nursery we have seen our son develop new skills and abilities. He loves his time there and has made many new friends. The staff have been fantastic and always take time to speak to us letting us know what has happened throughout the day. We were so pleased with the nursery that

I have been appalled that one grandchild was bitten by another child (known to have bitten other children). My other grandchild has come home with injuries several times over the past few weeks, also both children have come home extremely dirty. It makes me wonder where is the supervision. With regard
to the dirtiness, if staff don't pay attention to obvious things like dirty arms, legs and faces, I'm sure they would not be encouraging children to wash their hands after using the toilet. For the amount charged the standards are poor.

The nursery where my child attends has helped and supported her so much in terms of development and she is now thriving. The staff and management team are so supportive, happy and friendly at all times. My little girl absolutely loves coming here and when she doesn't attend she is always asking to!
I have noticed a huge change in terms of her speech, ability to share with others and she is flourishing in all areas of development! Extremely happy parent!

My son has adjusted extremely well to the nursery since starting in September 2018. He loves the variety of activities and ample outdoor space to play and explore. A really lovely nursery, our son attended and now our daughter does and we really cannot fault a single thing. The staff are so kind, considerate and really care about the children. Nothing is ever an issue and if extra sessions are needed they are always accommodating.

My daughter has been coming to Asquith for over a year now and she loves it! She practically runs in and waves goodbye to me as soon as she can.
The nursery offers an excellent variety of day activities and sensory areas, she never wants to leave. They have an excellent outdoor area catering for all
ages as well as clean, tidy, indoor rooms. The staff are brilliant too, she loves a certain member of staff and they have a fun bond which is great to see. Initially, I was wary to leave my daughter all day and now she loves it so much. I wish she could go more often! Thanks to all the staff.

The staff helped my daughter settle in well. My daughter has been attending for 6 months and loves her key worker. Her face lights up when she sees her. They communicate really well. The outdoor area is excellent. I am really pleased I chose this nurse4y and would have no hesitation in recommending

We have been really pleased with the care, love and attention that my daughter gets from her key worker. She knows my daughter so well and looks after her like she was her own. Working full time it makes me relieved that she is being looked after so well.
The outdoor areas are really enjoyable for
the children, they have a lot of playtime outside which is great for them. The food that the children get is really good too - made on site.

My daughter has been at the nursery for 6 months and the positive change I have seen in her has been amazing. She is always happy to go and talks about the staff and what she gets up to on the days she is at home with me! The nursery staff are incredibly attentive and so natural with all the children,
it's lovely. They are always happy to help to work tirelessly to make the nursery a really nice place to be. There are always lots of exciting things going on.

A super nursery, our son has been in this nursery since he was 10 months old and is now in preschool. Staff in all rooms are kind and caring and we are happy and confident to leave our son in your care. Outside spaces are perfect for the needs of our son and accessible throughout the day.

With over 15 years of experience in childcare, Luci began her journey as a Nursery Assistant, completing her NVQ Level 3 and progressing through various roles to become the Nursery Manager.


Her passion lies in creating a safe and secure environment for children, fostering their independence, and providing opportunities for them to grow into confident, capable individuals.


For Luci, the most rewarding part of her role is watching children grow and develop each day under her care.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2021

With 21 years of experience in childcare, starting as a Nursery Nurse and progressing to Manager, Lisa is now Deputy Manager at Boughton Lane Nursery, a role that allows her to spend more time with the children while also focusing on SEN (Special Educational Needs). She joined Bright Horizons in July 2021 and thoroughly enjoys being part of the team at the nursery.


Lisa is deeply passionate about supporting the staff and building strong connections with families. She finds great fulfilment in working with SEN children and takes pride in watching all children thrive during their time at the nursery.
