Bright Horizons Maidstone Boughton Lane Day Nursery and Preschool is a proud Eco-friendly nursery, reflected in its achievement of the Eco Schools flag, proudly displayed outside the building.

The nursery emphasises fostering independence across all age groups. Rolling mealtimes are practiced in every room, and self-serving is introduced even in the Baby Room to encourage autonomy from an early age.

Children of all ages participate daily in Boogie Mites, an interactive music activity designed to enhance every child's learning and development, particularly supporting communication and language skills.

The nursery features two expansive outdoor spaces with large climbing frames, including a Castle and a Pirate Ship, providing endless opportunities for imaginative play and physical development.

And while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the nursery will keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep every parent connected with their child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time at the nursery.

For added convenience, drop-offs and pick-ups are made easy with accessible parking, a lay-by outside the nursery, and a spacious on-site car park.

My child has been at Bright Horizons Maidstone Boughton Lane Day Nursery and Preschool for only a few months now and only does one day a week currently but he has progressed so much already and made a very strong connection with his key person who has been great, both for him and for us, giving us reassurance
that he's in good hands when he is left for the day.
Very friendly and professional staff who really care for them.
The food is also excellent, great variety and they really encourage a healthy, balanced diet and give the kids a chance to try something new. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend.

Bright Horizons Boughton Monchelsea is the best nursery in the local area. I have had experience with 4 other nurseries in the local area and this is milestones better than any other. Staff are professional, and attentive and support each child to their individual needs. They encourage structure, independence,
fun and development to help the children become confident and ready to start school. They have helped my children to no end, especially my youngest who was only saying 3 single words when she started and 6 months down the line she is now stringing words together. My children even ask to go to nursery on a weekend because they enjoy it so much. Communication is impeccable, from daily activities to informing parents of road closures they really go the extra mile.

My daughter has been at Boughton Lane Bright Horizons from 11 months old to 2 years, 3 months. The staff here are amazing. They care so much about the children and my daughter goes in and leaves with a smile. Highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

I have 2 children that attend the setting in different rooms and the nursery has been fantastic in helping them settle in with lots of suggestions as to what may help with the adjustment. They were also supportive of my worries and very reassuring with regular updates.


The activities they do are

varied and my eldest has learnt a lot from the nursery.


The staff take great initiative to care for the children and unlike other settings, it's rare to see/hear children crying. The children seem content and staff are supportive and encouraging. Fantastic and hands on nursery management. I tried another setting before but wish I'd come straight here.

My son really enjoys coming to nursery, the outside space is amazing for him due to not having a garden at home. All the staff are friendly and polite and make me, my son and our family feel welcome when coming into the building. We love seeing the photos of what he has been up to throughout the day
and the updates on how he has eaten and slept is really helpful.

Staff are friendly and approachable and amazing with the children. They make an effort to interact with children a lot when part of the current room and even management or when a child's moved to the next room. There's a really lovely fun atmosphere created and my daughter loves her nursery days. Rooms
are well stocked, they get outside in the garden lots and different activities (even lovely messy ones!) are set up to aid learning/skills.

My son has loved the nursery since he started there just over a year ago, the baby room staff have been wonderful with him and he is so ready to move onto his next adventure in the nursery room, thanks to them! My daughter joined the nursery at 10 months old and is now heading off to primary school. I honestly can't give enough praise to the team there. From the first day, every single person who worked there has cared for her more than I could've ever imagined. To mention, each of her key people have been
incredible and her key worker in the last few years in pre-school. She is just amazing with the children and we will miss her so much. She makes learning so much fun for them and has so much energy and enthusiasm, which she gives completely to the children in her care. My daughter is more than ready for school and a big chunk of that reason is down to the team at Boughton Lane. The manager is just as fantastic and has given me so much support as a parent and we couldn't not mention the chef, who my daughter just thinks is wonderful. As parents, we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful team looking after our child. We couldn't recommend them enough.

My daughter refused to brush her teeth for months. After chatting to her key worker, we agreed that she would try and get her to do so at nursery, and my god it worked. She brushes them every night and morning now. The staff here are all helpful and friendly and my daughter is always happy going into

My granddaughter has been at this nursery since she was 9/10 months old, she is now 4 and about to leave to start the next journey of her education in September. She has through all the different rooms and survived the pandemic. Whenever I collect her it seems she has always had a fun-packed day and
is eager to tell you what she has been doing. She has learned a great deal from the staff at this nursery, colours, shapes, and now letters. I also have a 16-month grandson who now attends this nursery, he also has settled in particularly well. Looking forward to watching his journey. The staff always update you on their days which I can then tell Mum. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone

My child has recently started and has made strong connections with her key person. I always get detailed feedback on how my child has been through the day. The app is amazing and I always get up-to-date pictures of my child. The management has been very supportive and communication is great!

My daughter is very happy at this nursery. She is eager to go in every morning, and I have really noticed how much she is learning from her sessions. In particular, her knowledge of shapes and colours has improved significantly. Every day I get a detailed report from nursery room telling me all about
what she has done during the day and the app is brilliant for keeping me updated with information and pictures of what she has been doing throughout the day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

I have two children who attend this nursery, they both love coming.
Baby room are amazing and staff really helped my little boy to settle. My daughter always talks about the fun staff she has been doing while at nursery. Both my children go into nursery happy and come home happy. Me and my husband

My son was transferred to this branch of Bright Horizons East London where he has spent his early years from the age of 9 months until he turned 4. We were anxious about how he would settle in a new nursery but he loved this place from day one. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. My son

With over 15 years of experience in childcare, Luci began her journey as a Nursery Assistant, completing her NVQ Level 3 and progressing through various roles to become the Nursery Manager.


Her passion lies in creating a safe and secure environment for children, fostering their independence, and providing opportunities for them to grow into confident, capable individuals.


For Luci, the most rewarding part of her role is watching children grow and develop each day under her care.

With 21 years of experience in childcare, starting as a Nursery Nurse and progressing to Manager, Lisa is now Deputy Manager at Boughton Lane Nursery, a role that allows her to spend more time with the children while also focusing on SEN (Special Educational Needs). She joined Bright Horizons in July 2021 and thoroughly enjoys being part of the team at the nursery.


Lisa is deeply passionate about supporting the staff and building strong connections with families. She finds great fulfilment in working with SEN children and takes pride in watching all children thrive during their time at the nursery.
