AN EXCITING AND MOTIVATING NURSERY IN KINGS HILL

Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is specially designed to support your child’s wellbeing, learning and development from the age of 3 months to 5 years. This purpose-built setting is in the heart of Kings Hill, making it a convenient location for parents working or living in the area.
Each of the seven rooms is airy and spacious, with facilities and activities developed for the age and stage of your child. The team nurture and encourage the children, using their interests as the basis for learning. Building blocks, heuristic play and kitchen role-play areas encourage imaginative learning, while messy play and arts support children’s creative skills and fine motor skills. The Under 2s room includes separate sleep and sensory rooms, enabling the experienced staff team to meet children’s individual routines. Babies are supported in walking, early phonics and motor skills, whilst older children learn early literacy and mathematics that supports their school readiness.
Kings Hill nursery has two refurbished gardens that offer a large outdoor space for children to explore, discover and play. From tricycles and a climbing frame to agility equipment, such as hoops, balls and bats, there are plenty of activities to help develop their balance and coordination. They even have a shaded seating area for those warmer sunny days.
The nursery in Kings Hill is right on the Southern edge of the business park, with its own large car park making drop-off and pick-up easier for you.
It is an all-inclusive nursery, which means meals, snacks, milk and nappies are all included in your fees.

My daughter has attended this nursery since February.
I've had a wonderful experience from my first phone call to arrange a visit.
One lady provided me with a tour of the building which was very informative. She is also very approachable as are all of the staff I have come to meet.
When my daughter
joined she was very unsettled, additional settle sessions were arranged which made the transition much smoother for us both.
My daughter has built a great bond with her key worker and I am very grateful.
The staff in the baby room are kind, enjoy their work and genuinely have a love for the children in their care.
I would definitely recommend this nursery. My daughter's communication skills and social skills, in particular, have improved greatly in recent months and I credit the nursery with nurturing and encouraging this.

I am more than happy to leave my daughter at nursery. I know that she is happy while at nursery and thriving in her room. Management is always friendly and accommodating and are very understanding of a parent's needs. I would recommend this nursery to family and friends.

My daughter loves nursery on the hill and all the great activities that they do with her. She is learning so much whilst having fun. She is always full of her day when I collect and wants to share everything with us. The detailed feedback is also great. This means we can follow on at home and share
in her day.
The great Father's day tea and other celebrations allow us to be involved with her nursery and we always feel welcome.
The nursery has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere and is so friendly and relaxed. It is no wonder the children are all so happy. I would love to spend the day there myself.

Love, love, love this nursery. I class them as part of my extended family now. I know I can walk into the office, sit and chat and the girls in the room are just as friendly. My son is thriving at Nursery and Preschool on the Hil and is progressing so well. The staff work so hard with my son and are
so proud of him when he achieves something new. I know, he couldn't be in better hands while I have to work.
I know it is more expensive than other nurseries, but I do think you get what you pay for!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. All the staff bend over backwards to help not just my son, but us as a family too. They are all so understanding of the issues that face a working Parent. My son enjoys every minute of his day at nursery and is learning so much. Can't believe he can write his own
name and do basic maths. The girls are amazing and know everything about my son's development, likes and dislikes. The feedback we get is so detailed, I feel we know all about his day. I can't believe the amount of work these girls do with my son. Truly amazing.

My daughter has been at the Nursery On The Hill since October 2013 and I feel that my family, as well as my daughter, have been well looked after by both the staff team and the management team.
If I have any queries they have been very helpful and supportive of my wishes. My son also attended the
nursery before he started school and gained valuable skills and knowledge that he needed in preparation for big school.
Nursery has been part of our family life for over 8 years and we will be sad when our daughter leaves in the summer to start big school.
The building has recently been refurbished and looks wonderful, the staff team in the rooms are friendly and welcoming as are all the management team.

My wife and I have been very happy with the care that our daughter has received. She has learnt many wonderful things and we feel that she is more than ready to start school in September which is down to the outstanding care and teaching from the staff in Preschool 2.

The staff at Nursery on the Hill are easy to approach, hard working and always put my child's best interests first. They're up to date and supportive of my son's development and keep me up to date on his progress. The nursery's general hygiene is clean and fresh. Management are easy to talk to and extremely
helpful. Nursery on the Hill is good value for money. I would definitely recommend to future mummies and daddies.

I couldn't be happier with the Nursery on the Hill. The environment for my daughter is kind, caring and friendly, like a home from home. The staff go out of their way to be flexible, accommodating and kind. I wouldn't choose anywhere else!

Sam

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2021

Sam has been working for Bright Horizons since 2006, starting as a Nursery Nurse and advancing to senior management in 2011. Throughout her career, she has worked in various nurseries and now looks forward to managing and meeting the families at the Kings Hill setting.


Sam is passionate about providing high-quality care and a safe and secure environment for all children. She often spends time observing and mentoring staff as well as interacting with the children. She is deeply committed to ensuring that the company's vision of "Keeping Everyone Safe" is clearly evident in the nursery.

Karissa

Karissa

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Karissa joined Bright Horizons in 2021 as a Deputy Manager and has also spent time stepping up to cover a Manager role, which gave her the chance to put her skills and knowledge into practice. After maternity leave in 2023, she returned to Kings Hill as Deputy Manager in July 2024.


Karissa is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can thrive and every family feels supported. She works closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure children enjoy the best possible care and learning experiences, while also supporting the team’s wellbeing and development. Karissa looks forward to meeting new families at Bright Horizons Kings Hill and continuing to build strong relationships with those already part of the nursery community.
