Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool

Going to Bright Horizons has really enhanced our son's creative skills and love of the garden. He always comes home with some artwork to show us and is always proud of what he’s been achieving at pre-school, and we feel this will set him up for a great start at school when he goes next year. He had a great bond with his key worker, and she was always enthusiastic and lively with him, which I think was what he was drawn to. His favourite thing about pre-school is the garden... he always comes out telling us about insects they’ve found or what they’ve been playing out there. It’s a great space for the kids and well thought out. He’s more recently started to learn phonics, which I hadn’t had much luck with at home trying to engage him, and I think pre-school has encouraged him well and his interest has grown of late.

Fantastic nursery and the staff are amazing! My girl loves attending here, and I couldn’t thank them enough for all their hard work this year! My personal experience with this nursery has been nothing but great!

My daughter has returned to Kings Hill Nursery after covid 19. She couldn't be happier to be back with all her friends and the staff. I was nervous about her going back, but the management and staff here put in place plenty of safety measures to make everyone as safe and happy as possible. My daughter runs in the door every morning eager for another day of fun at nursery.

We have had a great experience with Bright Horizons Kings Hill , the staff are so friendly and welcoming, my daughter took a long time to settle but the staff did everything they could to help and now she loves it and is learning so much. She always comes out with a beaming smile and lots to tell me about her day and many activities she gets up to, her confidence has grown so much and we always feel happy knowing she really enjoys her days there.

Staff are friendly. Little one enjoys going to school and comes home smiling. Since lockdown, little one has learnt lots of new things and we have seen a noticeable improvement in learning.

We are really pleased to have chosen Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool for our daughter. This is her first nursery and she has been attending for almost six months now, from shortly after her first birthday. The staff and management are excellent and we have found them to be both caring and professional. We receive written feedback each day on what she has been doing, saying and on her interaction with others, which helps us not to feel like we are missing out on her development and importantly, she is happy going to nursery and feels comfortable there.

Lovely nursery, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Impressed with the variety of different foods offered. Great play activities and outdoor space.

Our second child is coming to the end of their time at Bright Horizons and we'll be sad to say goodbye as she heads to big school. The staff are fantastic and the way they handled the Covid-19 challenges has been so reassuring as an essential worker family. The managers are very visible and engaged and we've always had good communication. My daughters have always been excited to go to nursery - always a good sign!

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old. She has learnt so much and developed into a lovely little girl. The activities she does have helped her development. Her carers have even helped with potty training. I can't recommend the nursery enough.

We took a long time to look for the right nursery for our son, but the moment we walked in, for the first time, we knew this was the right place for him. Since his first day, we felt the staff genuinely care about him and strive to bring out the best in him. He is now in his third room and every transition has been so smooth and well-supported. Our son loves going into nursery and it is often a struggle to get him to leave to come home!!

Both of my children have attended Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool and have really enjoyed being there. They have been helped with a headstart in prepping for school, learning songs and how to play with others. Both are very happy and it's given me comfort knowing they have been in good, loving hands.

Perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay them is to say my daughter loves going to nursery.

Our son has flourished under the wonderful care of the team, their approach to education through play is something that can be replicated at home as well as in the nursery, the meals are well balanced and nutritional. Any concerns are handled sensitively and nothing is too much trouble. We love the learning journey book which tracks our son's development and lets us see where we can compliment his experience from home. We love the focus on health and safety which allows our son to develop self-awareness safely.

My son's other school was a small pack away one so this is very different and one which I thought he would be apprehensive about, but he wasn’t.

Since my son started at Bright Horizons, his overall development, both social and educational has come so far. The staff always seem genuinely interested about him and all that he does. Every aspect of his day to day care is catered for and as a parent, to be kept informed of every event and knowing your child is getting the best care is so reassuring. I find the nursery a very lively, happy and positive place and am glad that my son is getting a great start from all those that deal with him every day he is there.

Nursery on the Hill provides fantastic care for my two children. They love attending nursery. They provide a safe and caring environment to encourage learning. Staff are friendly and really show they care about the children they look after. My children couldn't be in better hands.

My son has recently moved up to the next room and the staff have taken lots of time to help him settle and get to know him as well as keep me up to date with how he is and ideas of how to help him settle quicker. They have always been positive and helpful and always put him first.

Our daughter was at Nursery on the Hill for three years. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. She was so well cared for and so well prepared for school we will always be grateful to Nursery on the Hill. Our daughter loved it so much she even had a 'Nursery Mummy', which was so comforting knowing she was so comfortable there made it easy to leave her. The staff are approachable, friendly and extremely good at their jobs! If we had another I would make sure they were on the waiting list from birth!

Nursery on the Hill has been a part of our family for five years. Both of our boys started the nursery as babies and our youngest is due to leave at the end of this school year. The staff have looked after the boys amazingly. Not only have they prepared them for school, taught them their letters and numbers and right from wrong - they have gone above and beyond what you would expect from a nursery. The staff have looked after the boys as if they were family and the boys love them as if they are. Thank you Nursery on the Hill.

My daughter really enjoys her sessions at nursery. She and I are always greeted with a warm welcome from all of the staff. My daughter does lots of different activities that perhaps I wouldn't do at home which is great! She enjoys the food and snacks too and often has seconds. I feel she has become more confident in herself and around adults and children. Overall I have been really pleased with the nursery.
