AN EXCITING AND MOTIVATING NURSERY IN KINGS HILL

Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is specially designed to support your child’s wellbeing, learning and development from the age of 3 months to 5 years. This purpose-built setting is in the heart of Kings Hill, making it a convenient location for parents working or living in the area.
Each of the seven rooms is airy and spacious, with facilities and activities developed for the age and stage of your child. The team nurture and encourage the children, using their interests as the basis for learning. Building blocks, heuristic play and kitchen role-play areas encourage imaginative learning, while messy play and arts support children’s creative skills and fine motor skills. The Under 2s room includes separate sleep and sensory rooms, enabling the experienced staff team to meet children’s individual routines. Babies are supported in walking, early phonics and motor skills, whilst older children learn early literacy and mathematics that supports their school readiness.
Kings Hill nursery has two refurbished gardens that offer a large outdoor space for children to explore, discover and play. From tricycles and a climbing frame to agility equipment, such as hoops, balls and bats, there are plenty of activities to help develop their balance and coordination. They even have a shaded seating area for those warmer sunny days.
The nursery in Kings Hill is right on the Southern edge of the business park, with its own large car park making drop-off and pick-up easier for you.
It is an all-inclusive nursery, which means meals, snacks, milk and nappies are all included in your fees.

The highly qualified team helped to secure a Good rating in their latest Ofsted inspection (December 2017).

My daughter has returned to Kings Hill Nursery after covid 19. She couldn't be happier to be back with all her friends and the staff. I was nervous about her going back, but the management and staff here put in place plenty of safety measures to make everyone as safe and happy as possible. My daughter
runs in the door every morning eager for another day of fun at nursery.

We have had a great experience with Bright Horizons Kings Hill , the staff are so friendly and welcoming, my daughter took a long time to settle but the staff did everything they could to help and now she loves it and is learning so much. She always comes out with a beaming smile and lots to tell me
about her day and many activities she gets up to, her confidence has grown so much and we always feel happy knowing she really enjoys her days there.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old. She has learnt so much and developed into a lovely little girl. The activities she does have helped her development. Her carers have even helped with potty training. I can't recommend the nursery enough.

Our second child is coming to the end of their time at Bright Horizons and we'll be sad to say goodbye as she heads to big school. The staff are fantastic and the way they handled the Covid-19 challenges has been so reassuring as an essential worker family. The managers are very visible and engaged
and we've always had good communication. My daughters have always been excited to go to nursery - always a good sign!

We are really pleased to have chosen Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool for our daughter. This is her first nursery and she has been attending for almost six months now, from shortly after her first birthday. The staff and management are excellent and we have found them to be both
caring and professional. We receive written feedback each day on what she has been doing, saying and on her interaction with others, which helps us not to feel like we are missing out on her development and importantly, she is happy going to nursery and feels comfortable there.

We took a long time to look for the right nursery for our son, but the moment we walked in, for the first time, we knew this was the right place for him. Since his first day, we felt the staff genuinely care about him and strive to bring out the best in him. He is now in his third room and every transition

Our experience of using this nursery has been nothing but positive. Our daughter started at the nursery on a part-time basis aged 4 months and gradually built up to full time over the course of a year. Staff have been excellent with her. Tasks are tailored to her development stages. She loves the variety
of activities but most importantly, the staff are kind, caring and dedicated and I know she is incredibly well looked after.
Perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay them is to say my daughter loves going to nursery.

Our son has flourished under the wonderful care of the team, their approach to education through play is something that can be replicated at home as well as in the nursery, the meals are well balanced and nutritional. Any concerns are handled sensitively and nothing is too much trouble. We love the
learning journey book which tracks our son's development and lets us see where we can compliment his experience from home. We love the focus on health and safety which allows our son to develop self-awareness safely.

We have just moved house so my son had to leave his old preschool and friends and transition into a new place. The staff in his new preschool helped with this and now he goes in very happily. He talks about his new teachers all the time. All the staff are very friendly and know my son by name.
My
son's other school was a small pack away one so this is very different and one which I thought he would be apprehensive about, but he wasn’t.

Since my son started at Bright Horizons, his overall development, both social and educational has come so far. The staff always seem genuinely interested about him and all that he does. Every aspect of his day to day care is catered for and as a parent, to be kept informed of every event and knowing
your child is getting the best care is so reassuring. I find the nursery a very lively, happy and positive place and am glad that my son is getting a great start from all those that deal with him every day he is there.

My son has recently moved up to the next room and the staff have taken lots of time to help him settle and get to know him as well as keep me up to date with how he is and ideas of how to help him settle quicker. They have always been positive and helpful and always put him first.

Our daughter was at Nursery on the Hill for three years. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. She was so well cared for and so well prepared for school we will always be grateful to Nursery on the Hill. Our daughter loved it so much she even had a 'Nursery Mummy', which was so comforting knowing she
was so comfortable there made it easy to leave her. The staff are approachable, friendly and extremely good at their jobs! If we had another I would make sure they were on the waiting list from birth!

Nursery on the Hill has been a part of our family for five years. Both of our boys started the nursery as babies and our youngest is due to leave at the end of this school year. The staff have looked after the boys amazingly. Not only have they prepared them for school, taught them their letters and
numbers and right from wrong - they have gone above and beyond what you would expect from a nursery. The staff have looked after the boys as if they were family and the boys love them as if they are. Thank you Nursery on the Hill.

My daughter really enjoys her sessions at nursery. She and I are always greeted with a warm welcome from all of the staff. My daughter does lots of different activities that perhaps I wouldn't do at home which is great! She enjoys the food and snacks too and often has seconds. I feel she has become
more confident in herself and around adults and children. Overall I have been really pleased with the nursery.

My daughter has been at Nursery on the Hill for 2 years now. During that time very unfortunately my wife, and my daughter's mother passed away after being ill with cancer. Everyone at Nursery on the Hill have been amazing in helping both me and my daughter through this very difficult time. My daughter's
development has been remarkable and a great big thanks to the professionalism and kindness shown by the management team and all of the staff who have been there for us and helped my daughter progress in such a great way.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2021

Sam has been working for Bright Horizons since 2006, starting as a Nursery Nurse and advancing to senior management in 2011. Throughout her career, she has worked in various nurseries and now looks forward to managing and meeting the families at the Kings Hill setting.


Sam is passionate about providing high-quality care and a safe and secure environment for all children. She often spends time observing and mentoring staff as well as interacting with the children. She is deeply committed to ensuring that the company's vision of "Keeping Everyone Safe" is clearly evident in the nursery.

Karissa

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Karissa joined Bright Horizons in 2021 as a Deputy Manager and has also spent time stepping up to cover a Manager role, which gave her the chance to put her skills and knowledge into practice. After maternity leave in 2023, she returned to Kings Hill as Deputy Manager in July 2024.


Karissa is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can thrive and every family feels supported. She works closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure children enjoy the best possible care and learning experiences, while also supporting the team’s wellbeing and development. Karissa looks forward to meeting new families at Bright Horizons Kings Hill and continuing to build strong relationships with those already part of the nursery community.
