AN EXCITING AND MOTIVATING NURSERY IN KINGS HILL

Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is specially designed to support your child’s wellbeing, learning and development from the age of 3 months to 5 years. This purpose-built setting is in the heart of Kings Hill, making it a convenient location for parents working or living in the area.
Each of the seven rooms is airy and spacious, with facilities and activities developed for the age and stage of your child. The team nurture and encourage the children, using their interests as the basis for learning. Building blocks, heuristic play and kitchen role-play areas encourage imaginative learning, while messy play and arts support children’s creative skills and fine motor skills. The Under 2s room includes separate sleep and sensory rooms, enabling the experienced staff team to meet children’s individual routines. Babies are supported in walking, early phonics and motor skills, whilst older children learn early literacy and mathematics that supports their school readiness.
Kings Hill nursery has two refurbished gardens that offer a large outdoor space for children to explore, discover and play. From tricycles and a climbing frame to agility equipment, such as hoops, balls and bats, there are plenty of activities to help develop their balance and coordination. They even have a shaded seating area for those warmer sunny days.
The nursery in Kings Hill is right on the Southern edge of the business park, with its own large car park making drop-off and pick-up easier for you.
It is an all-inclusive nursery, which means meals, snacks, milk and nappies are all included in your fees.

The highly qualified team helped to secure a Good rating in their latest Ofsted inspection (December 2017).

We were initially apprehensive about nursery, mainly as first-time parents and not knowing what to expect. We needn't have been. Bright Horizons has been exceptional from the beginning. Settled immediately and the staff cared for them as if they were their own. Couldn't recommend it more!

Very happy with the standard of care my toddler receives at nursery (T1 class). He seems to be attached to all the lovely ladies that look after him which means that I can do my work in peace and without worrying that he's unhappy. My son has attended Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 10 months old. He loves spending time outside and all the activities they do. The staff are always so caring and keep us up to date with food, activities etc. Definitely recommend.

I have been with Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool for over five years now. All three of my children have attended/are attending the nursery currently, starting with my daughter who is now 7. I currently have my two younger children who attend the nursery with my middle one about
to leave preschool 2 for primary school and my youngest in nursery 2.
Bright Horizons has been a fantastic place for my children to start their learning journeys. They have and still love going to Bright Horizons, they have a great time and the staff are all fantastic. The facilities are great, the staff are lovely and they are always working towards giving the children the best start in preparing them for school and they are all extremely attentive in what they do.
All three of my children have a lovely bond to the nursery which they will always remember. My eldest loves coming back to the nursery to pick up her brothers with me. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to put their child/children into one.

My granddaughter loves going to nursery. She always talks about the staff in her room, what she has been doing at nursery and who she plays with. My little one has been at the nursery for almost a year now, starting in the baby room and moving up to toddlers. He really struggled with separation anxiety for months before he went to nursery so I was nervous about the first few weeks. He was treated with such excellent care that within a couple
of weeks we settled in and now the nursery is his favourite place to be! All of the staff are incredible! They are so kind and have a good sense of humour - the pictures and updates we regularly go throughout the day are brilliant! I am so glad we chose Bright Horizons, I go to work knowing he is having the best day, playing outside, doing lots of activities, eating well and spending time with key workers he doesn't stop talking about at home!

Excellent nursery with fantastic staff. the outside area and facilities are second to none and allow our daughter to develop skills and grow in confidence.

My daughter is in nursery room 2 and they are lovely. Very welcoming and friendly, especially the staff. Bright Horizons in general are lovely and very welcoming. Whenever we have had any concerns or issues, they have always been quick to help and been understanding. My eldest came to this nursery as
well and developed and grew into a lovely child which was helped by the nursery and I know they will do the same for my youngest, she already loves attending nursery.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery and all the staff. My son who is now in toddlers 2 is so happy every day he is in and sometimes just wants to stay longer. My daughter went through the nursery a few years back and had the same positive experience and support throughout.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2021

Sam has been working for Bright Horizons since 2006, starting as a Nursery Nurse and advancing to senior management in 2011. Throughout her career, she has worked in various nurseries and now looks forward to managing and meeting the families at the Kings Hill setting.


Sam is passionate about providing high-quality care and a safe and secure environment for all children. She often spends time observing and mentoring staff as well as interacting with the children. She is deeply committed to ensuring that the company's vision of "Keeping Everyone Safe" is clearly evident in the nursery.

Karissa

Karissa

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Karissa joined Bright Horizons in 2021 as a Deputy Manager and has also spent time stepping up to cover a Manager role, which gave her the chance to put her skills and knowledge into practice. After maternity leave in 2023, she returned to Kings Hill as Deputy Manager in July 2024.


Karissa is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can thrive and every family feels supported. She works closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure children enjoy the best possible care and learning experiences, while also supporting the team’s wellbeing and development.
