In the time our son has been at Maples we have found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. He settled in very quickly helped by the nursery following his home routine. Our baby particularly likes looking at the chickens in the garden. We are happy that the nursery meals are cooked on-site as well.
My son settled well at Maples and has been really well supported in terms of his development. The activities the children get involved in are varied and interesting. I have always felt the nursery staff have time to share his progress and next steps with me. He loves the staff that look after him and generally comes home tired and happy.
I am very happy with this nursery. The ladies have really built a good connection with the children who not only play but are stimulated and learn every day. Five stars from me.
We love Maples and Ladybirds. Our daughter loves coming in every day and always has a blast. She learns so much during the day and comes back covered in mud and paint which we love. She is obviously very loved and cared for.
Both my three-year-old and two-year-old are very happy at Maples. They have been at the pre-school/nursery for a year and we are very happy with the care they receive. It is an excellent nursery with lovely, caring staff who go out of their way to accommodate the childrens' and parents' needs.
No doubts, the staff (kindness with kids) is the highlight of Maples Nursery. My daughter is really happy to go to this place, so for me, this is the most important point. However, there are opportunities for improvement such as a better safety assessment in the garden and outdoor areas (eg rocks in the path) and the overall quality of the food offered (e.g more variety of fruit and vegetables, fewer cookies and cakes).
Thank you for taking the time to review our nursery and your positive feedback in relation to our colleagues at the nursery. I am delighted to confirm that we are currently having a full garden investment to include new surfaces and resources.
I will share your feedback on the menus with our...
My son transitioned brilliantly into pre-school and loves being here with his friends and enjoys the learning and development. His key worker has been fab.
We are very pleased with all the staff in the pre-school room. We are always greeted with a smile and the staff are very helpful and receptive to any issues that crop up. Our daughter always appears happy when we collect her and when she tells us about her day.
We have been really pleasantly surprised by our experience at Maples having never had a child in nursery before. The staff are extremely friendly (and patient), the food and toys are much better than we have at home and the activities are extremely imaginative and varied. I feel Maples have made a real effort to get to know my child and the events that include parents have helped us feel involved too. I would and have recommended Maples to other parents in the local area.
The staff are professional, attentive and remember every child and their quirks.
Mostly very good. Few issues. Parking not great. Fees quite high and "free" government hours not easy to structure without overlaps into paid-for sessions.
Thank you for taking the time to review Maples, we are always grateful for feedback.
I understand that parking can be a challenge at times given the location. This is something we are currently exploring to see if improvements can be made.
We believe our fees to be reflective of the...
Maples continues to excel at everything it does. Despite moving home with another nursery on our doorstep, there is no way that we will consider moving our daughter.
My daughter is thriving at Maples. Her language, motor and social skills are developing much faster than if she were only at home. I could not ask for a better environment for my daughter.
My son always eats loads, way more than at home.
No complaints whatsoever.
My son seems to absolutely loves his time at Maples. He has been full time since the beginning of the year and it has been wonderful to watch his relationships grow and develop with the staff. Maples has good facilities and a really big garden, with chickens. I especially like that the site is quite private. The food seems to be of a good standard and the staff are very caring and clearly love working with children. The only thing I'd love to see is more regular reports.
Children are well looked after. Safe and allowed to thrive outside and in.
My little boy has settled into Maples very happily. The staff are friendly, helpful, approachable and professional. He particularly enjoys the outdoor activities, rugby tots and the chickens! The children get the opportunity to take part in so many fun activities in a very supportive environment. The staff have been really helpful with potty training. I would not hesitate to recommend Maples to others.
She has made some great friends and we have seen a vast improvement in her speech and language.
The children take part in a variety of activities.
Meals and healthy and varied. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable.
There are some exceptional staff at the nursery, however, I don't feel they are always valued, therefore leave. This is a shame and has an impact on the children, particularly when they've formed a close bond.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, we appreciate the importance of staff retention and this is closely monitored at all times. As an employee-owned company, we value our staff engagement level and have recently introduced staff inset days for training and development to...
