It has been very welcoming and the children have settled in well. Staff are friendly and great with the kids.
I'm very happy with the attitude of staff. Very supportive of settling in. I'd like more attention towards cleanliness (wiping noses, faces).
She always surprises us with the things she learns here.
The staff are fantastic and I have seen my son develop in leaps and bounds since attending. They are very creative in the activities for the children that are fun while still developing key skills.
I am very fortunate that my son attends Maples Day Nursery and their online app is a great bonus.
The kids seem happy enough and the staff interested, energised and informative. Keep up the good work!
We are confident our son is very happy, he has settled well and formed good relationships with the other children and staff which reassures me when leaving him.
Great childcare, my son seems to enjoy his time here. He takes part in lots of fun activities, is well fed and looked after and always comes home tired from all the fun he has been having.
Great nursery, the kids are happy here. Food is good with great staff. Glad to hear that the menu has changed, there was too much sugar/cake before.
Too many staff changes!
My son has had an excellent time at Maples. Can't fault the staff and activities. He has learnt so much. Many thanks to all.
They are very caring and when my son gets upset when he sees me in the garden, they give him cuddles and reassure him I will be back soon.
During hand over, they will say about what he ate and slept and sometimes, but not all the time, tell me what he has done in the day.
My daughter absolutely loves Maples Day Nursery and asks to go on days she is not enrolled. The specific attention to every child's needs is commendable. Finding a nursery which provides such a safe, happy and fun environment whilst focussing on development is as rare as yellow chocolate unicorns. I am exceptionally pleased with the use of outside agencies such as 'Rugby Tots' within the programme.
Both my 2 children come to Maples, people are so nice and sweet with the children, I love the fact that the children are very stimulated by lots of activities tailored to their ages. Very appreciative that they are independent early and start to learn numbers and letters at 3.
Excellent. Girls really lovely. Flexible long opening hours. Great food. Feel so happy with staff. Only concern is there is a lot of children and on a morning I don't know if the child ratio is enough.
Overall, very pleased.
Amazing experience, staff are amazing and friendly, could always say fees could be cheaper but the overall experience is amazing. Very happy parent.
Excellent setting which offers a wide variety of daily activities, exciting resources (check out the cool tee-pees and mud kitchen) and lovely staff. I am slightly biased, but I am a big fan of the hard-working, friendly and fun teams in the 'Caterpillar' department and Butterfly Pre-school.
It can be extremely daunting leaving your little nuggets in the care of others, however, be rest assured that the team will make sure that your little ones are well cared for, comforted and happy. The team are constantly chirpy and a wonderful ray of sunshine, especially on a cold, rainy morning (I would like to know their secret!).
My littlest egg has allergies, particularly a dairy allergy. The whole Maple's team has worked hard to ensure he has delicious and varied snacks and meals during the day. A massive thank you to the Maple's chef who went above and beyond to source alternative free-from products.
I highly recommend this Nursery and Pre-school!
We have had our three-year-old boy at Maples Day Nursery (Winchester) since he was 3 months old and we have been very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to all of our friends. We especially like the big garden and all the fun play and activities that happen each day. Only negative thing is the big rotation of staff, there has been a lot of new faces and short stays, changes of key persons etc. which is not good for the children and it would be good if Maples Day Nursery (Winchester) work on the effort of keeping their staff.
Process - All room moves have been handled badly and as a result, I've not felt confident that my child's needs are being adequately met initially. (This did get rectified over time.)
Management - Can't comment on management, but previous manager did inspire confidence.
Overall - Our child enjoys their time at nursery but there are a few areas that could be improved to make it good/excellent. Foster the excellent members of staff and give them opportunities to develop - They need to be kept and staff turnover is already too high.
It's still early days, my little one has only been coming to Maples Day Nursery (Winchester) for four weeks now but he seems to be settling in well. The staff are friendly and attentive.
We have two little girls at the nursery - 20 months and 3 years 10 months. They are both very happy coming to nursery 2 days per week. There are lots of activities, outside play and developmental play. The food is excellent and they are encouraged to be self-reliant. There are lots of cuddles and attention when needed and we are very happy with the care they both get.
