Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool is bright, homely and welcoming, with carefully designed features and layout to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

Each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. Practitioners in the Baby Room use their knowledge and the variety of exciting resources to support cognitive, muscle and motor skills development, as well as standing, walking and speech. There is also a separate baby sleeping room for those quieter times. Toddlers love learning about the world around them, challenging their growing independence and understanding through word play, number games and teamwork.

The Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers, unique to Bright Horizons, includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists and Creative Cooks. These enriching activities are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, and inspire their interest in food and art, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.

The nursery in Bracknell has a beautiful garden, split into separate areas for each age and stage. Children love spending time outdoors, exploring nature through the mud kitchen and planting boxes, and practising their coordination on the balance equipment. My son joined the nursery in January 2018 and had his graduation last weekend, he has loved his time at nursery. All the staff have been amazing. Graduation was lovely and all the children looked amazing. He has learnt a lot and is very excited about school which is down to the hard work of the nursery.

Bright Horizons is the warmest, friendliest nursery I have ever entered. All staff members are friendly, calm and welcoming but most importantly approachable. Staff are open and honest. My daughter and I are so happy there. I cannot recommend them enough.

Both of our children started attending the nursery when they were 6 months old and have loved it from day 1. The oldest is now in preschool and they have both flourished under the care of the staff. They get to do activities that I would never have thought of trying with them but more important is the
peace of mind I have when I’m at work that they are being well looked after. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, professional and caring - I couldn’t ask for more!

What a great Nursery! From staff to building. My son loves coming in to nursery and they foster all his interests. Very dedicated and professional staff. They always give an extra mile and pay attention to details, like giving birthday cards on my child’s birthday. All the staff know him and make him
feel welcomed. I also love the building, each of the rooms are designed to develop their needs and it has a generous garden area with new outdoor cooking! It has recently undergone a renovation that makes it better for children - new indoor kitchen room and Staff - new staff room.

We have placed both of our children at this Nursery over the last 8 years and the staff have always been professional and take great pride in looking after the children. Our son is now in Preschool and has now been attending the nursery for 18 months. He has come on so well with his confidence and speech. This is thanks to the staff, who are all so caring and welcoming to all the children.
The management staff are very accommodating and have done a great job over
this time with the new refurb and new signage.

My daughter started at the nursery at just 6 months old on a full time basis. She settled in straight away, which was very much to do with the excellent team that look after her. She is always happy to see the staff, which has given me great confidence in the nursery since day one. Every day she is
participating in new activities, learning and developing along the way. The team give us daily updates of what she has been doing, how she's eaten, slept and are very flexible with her needs as she's growing and changing.
Everyone at the nursery is very welcoming, helpful and hard working. The management are very informative, ensuring the parents know what is going on.
I highly recommend this nursery.

My 2-year-old daughter only started in January and already the nursery has made a massive impact on her life. She has some complex health issues that the nursery may not have seen before but they didn’t shy away from them. They really have improved the quality of my daughter's life with the hard work
and stability they have given her. We viewed a lot of nurseries around Bracknell and this one is the only one I felt didn’t worry about what I was asking for in a nursery. Great team from management, the team in the room and the chef.

My 2 year old has been at the nursery since September and absolutely loves it.
He seems to learn so much after each visit and always has a story to tell about what he did that day.
Not only does my son enjoy every minute of his time there, it is also great for the parents, it is clean, safe, has
brilliant communications, the food is great and I can't praise the staff highly enough.
We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.

My son has been at this Nursery for just over 2 years and thoroughly loves it. The team in each of the rooms he has been in have built great relationships with both my son and also us as parents. They carefully plan activities to ensure they provide great development for the children but also enable
them to have fun. The team are always on hand to provide advice should I need it and all excel in their particular fields. The quality and range of food is fantastic and they take great steps to make sure those with dietary requirements feel included. The Nursery Manager is committed and dedicated to open communication with parents, something that I personally value as a parent.

I am very pleased to have my 3 girls attend Bright Horizons Bracknell. Our oldest is 3 and has gone through all the rooms and been lovingly looked after by all the wonderful staff. Now that our twin girls have started every effort is put into helping us with drop off and pick up’s. The nursery has
a family feel to it and feel very lucky to have our girls here.

My baby daughter started nursery when she was 6 months old. From day 1 she loved that place and ladies in the baby room. Every day she's learning new things and improves those skills which she already has. The staff is very helpful and makes sure that all needs of my baby are fulfilled. When you speak
with the staff you have no doubts they are very committed to care of babies under their supervision. In terms of food, sleeps and activities for babies the nursery is very flexible and responds to parents needs. After 6 months I may say that this nursery for my baby daughter was a great choice and I would (and I do) highly recommend them to other parents.

I cannot praise the staff of Bright Horizons Bracknell enough!
The communication is amazing, we are so up to date on everything that's going on in the nursery with regards to what the children are up to daily, whats coming up, their development etc. The manager is excellent at keeping all us parents
100% in the loop with every aspect of whats going on. He is so dedicated to his job and has had such a positive impact in his time in charge here!
The building is bright, fresh, cosy and so welcoming and a delight to walk into. My biggest praise goes to the girls who spend all their days with the children....they are amazing and have been key in my daughter's development and her confidence is through the roof. She just loves her days here which speaks for itself!

I rarely write reviews but on this occasion I feel the need to, firstly I am astonished on how the nursery has changed over the last year, from being average at best to absolutely awesome in all areas.


Staff are so friendly and accommodating, genuinely lovely people and my wife and I feel 100% comfortable

in giving the best attention and development for our kids (1 and 3-year-old)


Management have been amazing and I believe this has made the difference, communication has been spot on, clear, concise and relevant, yes I mean all the communication which has been frequent but certainly for the best.


The last part of this review is more of a thank you, thank you for being flexible in allowing us to place our kids in your care at short notice and not charging us unnecessary fees for unavoidable changes in our personal routines, genuinely we appreciate all your hard work, especially during the weather over the last week. Keep up the amazing work guys.

I cannot praise the nursery enough, right from the team the management. Everyone is really accommodating and always going the extra mile, their energy amazes me.

I have experienced different roles within my career ranging from working as a Nanny to my current position as third in charge. Along the way, I have gained a great deal of knowledge through experiences caring for children aged between 3 months and 12 years of age, and I am passionate about providing children with a safe and secure environment, enriched with a wide range of learning opportunities, that are supported by caring and knowledgeable staff.
