Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool is bright, homely and welcoming, with carefully designed features and layout to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

Each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. Practitioners in the Baby Room use their knowledge and the variety of exciting resources to support cognitive, muscle and motor skills development, as well as standing, walking and speech. There is also a separate baby sleeping room for those quieter times. Toddlers love learning about the world around them, challenging their growing independence and understanding through word play, number games and teamwork.

The Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers, unique to Bright Horizons, includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists and Creative Cooks. These enriching activities are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, and inspire their interest in food and art, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.

The nursery in Bracknell has a beautiful garden, split into separate areas for each age and stage. Children love spending time outdoors, exploring nature through the mud kitchen and planting boxes, and practising their coordination on the balance equipment. I chose this nursery for its bright space and its ability to let the kids play freely in a safe environment.
But what's kept me there is the staff (always willing to discuss matters concerning my son, most of the time reassuring me or giving advice, even at home time!).
The skills and manners they
teach the children. Regularly my son surprises me with things he's learnt or I get compliments for how polite he is which is a credit to the nursery. Giving him the confidence to be independent and interact with all types of children. Creating a great community within the nursery where parents meet up outside of nursery and get a chance to be involved with events like Christmas parties.
They are constantly evolving for the better which is lovely to see and it will be a shame to see him leave this year.

Our daughter really loves it here. She has settled quickly and has formed a lovely bond with the staff. We sent our son here previously, he was so well looked after and challenged, we knew it was where our daughter would go too.

Lovely, friendly nursery with a fabulous management team. Both our children attend the nursery and have done since they were less than six months old and are very happy there. The key workers work with you as parents to support your child's development, both at nursery and at home, by providing daily
updates on activities they've taken part in and topics they have been focusing on. We would highly recommend this nursery.

We as a family have been extremely happy with the level of care, support, and professionalism at this nursery.
We recently had a challenging time where my child was very emotional during drop-offs, out of the blue after almost 3 years of being at the nursery. I was able to meet our room manager who
knew our family well and they talked through the challenges and suggested new techniques and ways they could support us. It took a few weeks, but with patience and support, and most importantly, empathy, we made good progress. My children love their key workers and all their friends!

My eldest child has just graduated after having been on roll since she was 8 months old. My second child is still here. Both of them love going to nursery/preschool every day. The staff are fantastic and the app allows families to see what their kids are up to throughout the day from what they had to
eat, activities they’ve participated in, what was in their nappy to how long they’ve slept for. My eldest will miss Bright Horizons - but she’s happy she will get to visit when picking up her brother.

The staff are amazing. My daughter started, having been born just before covid hit and had no contact with other adults outside the household. She was 18 months old when she started and has loved it since day one! She has a whole separate life at nursery and is now the most sassy, independent, happy

Such a wonderful nursery and the staff are fabulous. My granddaughter loves going to nursery and has made so many little friends. My granddaughter's speech has come on so much and I put this down to the interaction with others. She loves books and is read to every day. The staff are happy and friendly
and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this nursery, without question.

Overall good experience with this nursery. A little bit on the expensive side, but to be fair I can also expect more because of it and any request I make, the team there always delivers. My son loves to go there, he is always well taken care of and if I have any issues they are always addressed and
eliminated immediately. I would recommend this nursery if you can afford it.

My experience with this nursery in the last two years has been fantastic. The carers who work there are really nice and lovely with children. The activities they do really help to keep children entertained and learning. Communication is always good and fluent. They are also very helpful and flexible
when you need extra sessions or to make changes.

I can not fault the care given to our child, the staff are all amazing every single one of them. Your environment is warm, welcoming and nurturing and nothing was ever too much trouble. You have been flexible and accommodating to our needs often at very short notice and our child enjoys every minute

My child has learnt a lot. Staff very caring and take their job very seriously, combining learning with playing. Not happy with the new manager, she's not helpful at all when comes to most of the questions, like payment etc. One day the child came with a head full of sand and we asked the nursery just
to pay more attention, but the manager asked us if we want to stop my child playing in the sand with other kids, instead of helping him to get clean. This is just one example of why I don't like the new manager. Everything else is great.

Our son has been with the nursery nearly 2 years. The staff are fantastic, genuinely caring and friendly. He settled in really well and transitioned through each room with no problems. The nursery environment is very good with nice outdoor space that they make the most of. Menu is varied and the nursery
have lots of activities and share pictures/updates regularly. Our son continued to attend during lockdowns when possible - we had no concerns about his safety during this time as the team managed it all extremely well.

My little girl was 14-month-old when she started; she is very happy in the nursery. She has blossomed since she started. She is singing songs - in her baby language - that she learnt there. You can tell she is very well looked after in the nursery. She learnt to draw and picked up so many new skills.

As a mother, you always worry your child be in good hands and cared for. At Bright Horizons Bracknell I'm very happy with the staff and the care my son receives. they are attentive to his needs while allowing him to express himself and explore being a messy toddler.
Through Covid especially they have
been fantastic! Safety has been a priority that puts my mind at ease knowing all measures have been taken to ensure my son is safe.

My daughter has just started 'big school' after graduating from Bracknell Day Nursery. She's been at the nursery since she was 10 months old, right up to nearly 5 years. Everything Bracknell Nursery has done has helped to mould her into a loving, kind and friendly little girl who is completely ready
to start her school life. Bracknell Nursery staff have nurtured her throughout and I can't thank the nursery manager and her team enough for all they have done for her. Both her and I have also made friends for life from nursery.
I would recommend any parent to look at Bracknell Day Nursery for their childcare needs and to support their child's early years.

I know children change every day, but we have seen a massive difference in our son since he started and I truly believe that is because of this nursery.
Even though he had always been the same cheeky boy at home, when I used to take him out to soft play or parent groups, he used to sit back for about
½ an hour and watch the what other babies/toddlers were doing before he would join in – then it would almost be time to leave. Now he is happy to join in straight away! The girls in little learners have really helped him come out of his shell and join in with other children. It is so lovely to see how much his confidence has grown.
He absolutely loves the staff and I think they are all so lovely. The staff are brilliant at keeping me updated with his progress.
I also love the photos we got from the photographer back in May – I never expected to receive such great quality from nursery photos ?? I can’t wait for them to come in and take more photos again.

I have experienced different roles within my career ranging from working as a Nanny to my current position as third in charge. Along the way, I have gained a great deal of knowledge through experiences caring for children aged between 3 months and 12 years of age, and I am passionate about providing children with a safe and secure environment, enriched with a wide range of learning opportunities, that are supported by caring and knowledgeable staff.
