Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool is bright, homely and welcoming, with carefully designed features and layout to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

Each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. Practitioners in the Baby Room use their knowledge and the variety of exciting resources to support cognitive, muscle and motor skills development, as well as standing, walking and speech. There is also a separate baby sleeping room for those quieter times. Toddlers love learning about the world around them, challenging their growing independence and understanding through word play, number games and teamwork.

The Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers, unique to Bright Horizons, includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists and Creative Cooks. These enriching activities are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, and inspire their interest in food and art, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.

The nursery in Bracknell has a beautiful garden, split into separate areas for each age and stage. My son has been at the nursery since he was 10 months old. He is now 4 and he loves it. He has moved through each of the rooms and has made strong relationships with the staff and the children in each.


Learning is made fun and he has become a confident and sociable little boy who is looking forward

to starting school. It definitely makes having to work easier knowing your child is so well looked after and is having a great time!

Fantastic newly refurbished nursery buildings with excellent facilities.
Staff are approachable and dedicated, filled me with confidence leaving my son for a whole day.
He is learning so much and made lots of friends.

I’m so happy with the nursery, both my children started there when they were each about fourteen months old and have both been so happy there. My eldest has just started school and she has made the transition very well despite not knowing any other children at first. This is largely down to what she
learnt at nursery - not necessarily the counting/writing etc (although that was helpful too), but how to behave, follow the rules, be independent etc. My other child is still at nursery and she loves it. The staff are brilliant, they can’t do enough for the children and I have total confidence when I leave my children there.

I can't sing the praises of this nursery enough.
Our son has been attending for just over a year now and the staff are fantastic, very friendly and caring.
The activities are varied and he often comes home with artwork or culinary creations!
He has come on leaps and bounds in his development since
attending and has a great bond with his keyworker, as well as many of the other staff members.
Most recently he's been singing songs to himself that he's obviously learnt at nursery, and is constantly surprising us with new words and objects he's learned about.
Unfortunately, we have had to change nursery as we are moving house, and Bright Horizons Bracknell really has set a high bar as the standard - we struggled to find another nursery we liked as much, and our son's new nursery has a lot of expectations to live up to.
We will sorely miss the staff at Bright Horizons Bracknell and their happy, welcoming and professional demeanour.

I highly recommend this nursery. My little girl has grown from the baby room all the way to now Preschool. With the outstanding care she has recieved in each room, she has grown into a bright, social, confident little lady and loves attending the nursery. From the food to the activities to the outstanding

I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old in the nursery. They both are excited to attend every day as the staff are so welcoming and supportive. Being a first-time mum and feeling the pressure of going back to work was emotionally, physically and mentally hard for both myself and my daughter. With the added thought of finding the right nursery and leaving her with complete strangers, was a concept I personally didn't like the thought of.


However,

rest assured I have nothing but the best praise to give the staff at Bright Horizons Bracknell, in particular, the baby room team. They take the time to understand her and her needs as an individual and have helped make this whole transition that little bit easier. I leave each day knowing she is in capable hands, having fun and growing/exploring. I'm so glad I choose this nursery to be a part of our world and am looking forward to many happy years to come.

Both of my daughters have attended the nursery and preschool, and I couldn't be more delighted by their progress during their time at Bright Horizons Bracknell.
The staff are warm, caring, fun and extremely professional.
As a working mum, it has been such a relief to be able to leave my girls in the
capable hands of the staff at this nursery.


The food is healthy and plentiful, my daughters never come home hungry! They have fun, active days playing sports and making art and crafts. The children have a genuine bond with the staff and they always look forward to a day at nursery.
I would thoroughly recommend this childcare provider.

My son has been attending since June this year. I never thought I could find such a nice nursery and after the first couple of months, they have managed to get my son to try everything that is put in front of him, and it's always a struggle to get him to leave when it's time to go home.


The garden

is such a nice feature, allowing lots of space for them to play, which he loves.
The staff are so caring, helpful and friendly you never feel a bother. They are always happy to help and talk about the progression of my son.


Honestly, I would recommend this nursery to everyone. Its brilliant, I fully trust them with my son.

Fabulous and friendly nursery! They know each child individually and tailor the activities to make sure everyone is included!


Awesome food - my son always has seconds!


My son has come on leaps and bounds here and when I pick him up, he says "hello" then runs off to play some more, trying to get

him to leave is the hard part! I would recommend this nursery 100%.

My daughter is currently in preschool and will leave at the end of August. Over the last few months, we have had lots of helpful information from them to help us and our daughter get ready for school. Preschool has given my daughter a great foundation to learning. She has learnt so much, in so many
areas including how to be safe, such as cleaning hands before mealtimes. Their mascot Candy Floss represents 'Keeping everyone safe' and is regularly referred to by our daughter when telling us about what she has learnt.


During the last few months, they have undergone a refurbishment. It now looks and feels very clean, more modern and welcoming for children. The rooms are set up well with a free flow area to the garden. They also have a new manager who is very proactive in keeping parents informed and sending out useful information and updates.


The staff are friendly and caring and make learning fun.


I would certainly recommend Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool.

My son attends Bracknell Day Nursery in the pre-school class. He is always happy to attend pre-school and often talks about his teachers, friends and the activities he's done. The Nursery, on the whole, is managed very diligently. I am often impressed with the general organisation, cleanliness and the

My son joined this nursery just over a year ago (he was 2.5 years old). He was attending another nursery where he was very settled, so I was very anxious and worried about unsettling him. I really didn't need to worry as he settled in very quickly and within the second week of being there, he was practically
running in, in the mornings!!
The girls in his room (stingrays) were brilliant and offered activities that they knew he really enjoyed.
My son is now in the preschool room and continues to love his 3 days a week that he is there. He talks about his new friends and the great staff often, when we are at home.
All of the staff in his room have been very supportive with potty training and have used lots of encouragement and praise with trying new foods as he is a very fussy eater!
The extra curriculum activities are great and my son particularly enjoys football.
My son's key worker really knows my son's development well and his learning story is full of lovely observations and photos.

Have used the nursery for both children since 2012, and would overall rate it as a very good nursery. It has a nice and bright feeling about it, with lots of available outside space (which is frequently used).


The staff are very caring and friendly (although there were some instances over the years

when it became apparent that there were a lot of temporary staff - it was always addressed quickly though and did not seem to disrupt the daily routines too much).


I always felt confident my children were/are looked after very well here.


They gained a lot of self-confidence, were encouraged and guided to look after themselves (personal hygiene), to try new foods (thanks, chef!) and to believe in themselves.

I have worked in the childcare sector for 14 years. I started out my career as a nursery assistant where I also attained my NVQ LEVEL 3 in Childcare and Education.


I have experienced different roles within my career ranging from working as a Nanny to my current position as third in charge. Along the way, I have gained a great deal of knowledge through experiences caring for children aged between 3 months and 12 years of age, and I am passionate about providing children with a safe and secure environment, enriched with a wide range of learning opportunities, that are supported by caring and knowledgeable staff.
