Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool is bright, homely and welcoming, with carefully designed features and layout to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

Each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. Practitioners in the Baby Room use their knowledge and the variety of exciting resources to support cognitive, muscle and motor skills development, as well as standing, walking and speech. There is also a separate baby sleeping room for those quieter times. Toddlers love learning about the world around them, challenging their growing independence and understanding through word play, number games and teamwork.

The Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers, unique to Bright Horizons, includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists and Creative Cooks. These enriching activities are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, and inspire their interest in food and art, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.

The nursery in Bracknell has a beautiful garden, split into separate areas for each age and stage. I have been using the nursery over the last 7 years for both my children with my youngest still attending in the Preschool room. The staff are all very welcoming and caring, he has great bonds with them all. The nursery has an amazing outside space which is divided into different sections, with free
flow spaces off of the rooms which really enhances the outside learning environment. The nursery Chef has been at the nursery since we have attended, providing a healthy balanced diet and opportunities for children to get involved with cooking which my little one loves. There are a number of activities which enhance children's learning which all rooms use such as growing readers, writers and mathematicians, and they encourage the parents to get involved with these as well. Overall I am extremely happy with the nursery as they go above and beyond for you and I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little boy started at Dolphin Bright Horizons Bracknell when he was 1 year old in the babies room, and he has always loved it. He is now just over 2 and so has transitioned through the rooms to his now third room. All of the staff are dedicated to the development, enjoyment and well-being of the
children in their care. It is great to leave him with a trusted team each day and his development is a direct result of their interaction with him. They manage his food allergies very well, co-ordinating with the nursery chef. The nursery has recently been completely refurbished and looks great throughout. The nursery has a big garden which allows them plenty of outdoor time in the spring/summer. His key worker in each room has been a key point of contact for me, always listetning to me, and he has developed a great relationship with each of his key workers. There are weekly activities such as theatre bugs and jo jingles, which he loves. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery.

My daughter began her time at Dolphin when she was 9 months and has been attending the nursery now for 6 months. The staff in starfish room are really lovely and my daughter has a wonderful bond with her key person and the room manager.
It is so nice to hear all the lovely things that she gets up
to while I am working such as painting, making cakes and going in the garden. The staff do learning stories which we can look at any time and it is full of beautiful pictures and little observations of what she has been doing! The nursery is currently having a refurbishment and the baby room looks so lovely now it is complete. I am very happy at Dolphin and look forward to her future here.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was 3 months old and now she is 3.5 years old and she spends full days and full weeks in the nursery.
She has been really enjoying her time in the nursery. The staff at the nursery have been amazing, well trained, lovely and really caring for the
children. Management team are very cooperative and understanding of our expectations and they do communicate well with parents.


Overall I am very satisfied with the nursery as they have helped my daughter grow into a healthy, matured and well manner kid. I give 5 stars for the effort and hard work of the team (staff, cook, management people). I recommend the nursery to anyone who is on the lookout for a high quality and caring service.

We have used this nursery for both our son (now 8) and our daughter (4) as a preschool setting to get them ready for starting school.


The staff have always been kind and friendly to both our children and we have always been completely satisfied that our children are safe and happy in the nursery

environment.


Our children have always had something to say about their days there, whether it's about the arts & crafts, games played, stories read or making friends.


I would highly recommend this nursery's preschool room - which has recently had a refurbishment, and although nursery is expensive, in my opinion, this one is worth it, especially with the funded hours available to help.
I would also say that the quality of early years education has improved since my son attended four years ago, and there are some very good preschool staff in that particular room.

My little boy joined Dolphin Nursery after a very difficult time as a family and I had my concerns on how he would adapt to further change, a new environment and people. I needn't have worried as he settled very quickly, made new friends and enjoyed his day.
He has attended over a year now and during
that time has really grown in confidence and come out of himself in the company of other children and adults. He has become more chatty having expanded his vocabulary through the many songs he seems to learn. He has learned how better to share and cope with sharing. Although headstrong over food choices, persistent encouragement from the nursery staff, in particular his key person, means he will now try new things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to friends.

My daughter has been attending Dolphin Nursery since she was 8 months old and reluctantly leaves this summer to start school! Over the years she has been in all of the rooms from baby to preschool and I can honestly say they were all environments where I felt she would be well cared for and looked
after.


So important to a first time working mum was that the staff totally understood, it is such a hard balance between guilt/necessity and what's best for all.


They aim to create a good learning experience for all and I couldn't be happier with the level at which my little one is moving on.


Although as is the nature of these places, staff changes have proved challenging at times but credit to the other team members, who never let anything get in the way of the children.


I've had the pleasure of sharing these early years with some of the best, supportive and well meaning professionals whom I was happy to leave my most cherished with every day....

My daughter is currently in preschool at Dolphin after starting their nursery when she was a year old.


I have loved seeing her develop through the years thanks to the activities that she does and the encouragement she gets from the staff.  She comes home and sings new songs and you can see her improvement

in things like drawing and colouring.


She loves playing outside which they do a lot in preschool through their free flow access. She also enjoys their weekly football session.


The staff are lovely and friendly and I am happy to leave my daughter in their care knowing that she will be looked after and will have a nice day playing with her friends and learning new things. She always looks happy when we collect her and she speaks highly of the 'teachers' who she likes to impress and get praise from.


After a recent refurbishment, it feels fresh and even more child friendly and welcoming.

I moved my child from another private nursery, where I was not happy with his care. My son is so happy here. He has learned more since he has been in the nursery compared to what he learnt in 1 year at the other nursery.
Very professional, caring and friendly staff. Always available for a chat and
happy to help where they can. Thank you for being a great nursery.

My son attended this nursery for just under 2 years (from Starfish through to Stringrays). I can honestly say I have never had any complaints and walk away every morning knowing that I have left my son in a safe environment with a great team of nursery staff. He has turned into a confident and chatty
little boy and has really enjoyed his time at this nursery. The staff have never had any issues with any requests you may have and try their best to accommodate your needs as a parent. We saw 3 nurseries in the area and have to say choosing Dolphin Nursery was the best choice we made and as a parent would highly recommend this nursery without a doubt!

My son has been coming for over a year and he loves his time at the nursery. During his time at the nursery he has developed in confidence and gained a variety of skills and knowledge through the great activities and interaction from the staff at the nursery. I can feel assured that when I drop him
off every day that he is going to have a great day. Since joining the Stingrays room he loves the sport session that they have every Tuesday, and being able to access the garden every day on the free flow space.

For any parent I feel that child care is a very hard decision to make. Especially if you're returning to work. I've never liked the idea of leaving my baby at Nursery or with a child minder but my mind was completely changed!


Before choosing Dolphin Nursery I went to see other various nurseries

in Wokingham and Bracknell but not one came close to making me feel that it was the right one for my son and I. My first Impressions where excellent and still are. The Manager took her time to show us round the nursery the first time where my son, my mum, little brother and sister all came along and had plenty of questions but she was a star! She was happy to answer our questions and was very thorough I left feeling very informed and happy that I finally found a child care solution for him.


He has now been going to Nursery for over a month, he's there 3 mornings sessions a week and I always feel comfortable that he's in good hands.
He caught the flu just before his first day so I was worried over him settling in, but the girls in the baby room have all been so kind and understanding and you can really see for yourself that they genuinely care about your baby and take the time to get to know him as an individual. For example: what they like, what they don't like, what works best for their feeding or their sleeping, really helping them etc.


When I pick him up I receive an update of what he's been up to and get pictures of his activities having fun. You can call in to the room as much as you need to, to see how he's doing. Even get their clothes washed for you if they end up in a mess! I can go on and on about many positive things about the girls and the nursery but I feel that it really has to be recognised for all their hard work and care they put in with the end result of your happy baby.


So I'm very thankful to the Manager all the girls in the baby room!


We really appreciate your caring and hard work for him, it means a lot to us!

I have experienced different roles within my career ranging from working as a Nanny to my current position as third in charge.
