Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool is bright, homely and welcoming, with carefully designed features and layout to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

Each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. Practitioners in the Baby Room use their knowledge and the variety of exciting resources to support cognitive, muscle and motor skills development, as well as standing, walking and speech. There is also a separate baby sleeping room for those quieter times. Toddlers love learning about the world around them, challenging their growing independence and understanding through word play, number games and teamwork.

The Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers, unique to Bright Horizons, includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists and Creative Cooks. These enriching activities are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, and inspire their interest in food and art, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.

My son loves it here. He has settled well into the toddler room. He is always happy and busily engaged in an activity when we collect him.
Staff always give detailed feedback and seem to know my son really well even though he hasn't been there long and only does a few sessions a week.

Having gone through a huge life change over the last 5 weeks, the nursery have been outstandingly supportive to myself and my daughter.

My little one has been going to Bracknell Day Nursery since Oct 2015. We can't fault the care she receives at the nursery. They are kept busy every day with fun and educational things to do and it is also great that they spend time outdoors, playing and learning. My little one is confident, fearless
and happy and a lot of that is down to the team at the nursery. She eats really well during the day and enjoys showing off her paintings when I collect her after work. They have recently done a lot of work on the cosmetics of the building and it is looking really great, with some fantastic new equipment for the rooms and playground. I am so glad we chose Bracknell Day Nursery. I can go to work every day knowing that my little one is in safe/ caring hands.

Our first born was settled in very well to the previous nursery and as parents, we naturally had some reservations about the move to here. We noticed our daughter's rate of development rapidly increased within three months of attending here. Clearly, we were very pleased and had plenty of praise for
the staff here.


However, the real game changer for this establishment was when new management took over. The nursery took a slightly more business-like and professional approach. It really worked well and within a short period of time, the nursery was being run more efficiently and our daughter's happiness to attend had also increased.


The recent renovation has helped but also staff appear to be re-motivated to assist with child development. The communication lines between parents and the management are very open and regular. I find I get regular email updates and invited to attend the site for formal catch-ups quite often. All very positive.

I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool to the parents looking for a good childcare in Bracknell area. The staff here is very friendly and caring. The nursery is clean and there are lots of toys, books and educational activities for kids. They perform variety of
activities throughout the day so kids enjoy playing indoors as well as outdoors. The staff here helped my son to settle well in the nursery and he enjoys going there.

My 22 month old just started nursery and it was a big deal for her as it's from 0hrs to directly full time (5 full days). I can't thank nursery staff enough for their hard work n efforts to make her settled down. I do feel comfortable leaving her all day. It's a great place.

My daughter is currently in pre-school having attended from 9 months old and absolutely loves going to nursery. Whenever I pick her up she is very happy which shows how much fun she has each day! The management and staff are fantastic and really encourage her development and social skills. They provide

Excellent staff and excellent care!
My son adjusted very easily in very few settling sessions, eating well, playing well and no fussy mornings while dropping at the nursery and the list goes on. In short, I chose the best place for my little one.

We recently transferred from another Bright Horizons and the management went above and beyond to ensure we were fully informed and comfortable. The manager even got our son's new key person to travel to our previous nursery in Basingstoke to support with his transition. Moving house and nursery is tough
but the management have been amazing. Over the moon with our room's key person and our son adores her. Great structure, support and facilities. Very happy!

My daughter loves going to the nursery. She always has plenty to tell us about and has made lots of friends so the nursery is clearly promoting an inclusive atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly, polite and hard working. The management are very communicative so we are always aware of what is going
on. The rooms are clean and have lots of variety. The outdoor space is great for the children to run around whilst being safe.

This nursery has been amazing. Since August, the change in my child has been incredible, due to the hard work of the team and management of this well run nursery. The interaction they provide through the progress book right up to the weekly emails so we, as parents, know what's going on and that they
ask for updates from us as parents so they can tailor activities specifically for each child is so fantastic. Also always accommodating to extra sessions as life dictates.
Would thoroughly recommend this nursery above all others as the staff are dedicated to constantly improve and each member is one in a million.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Bracknell since March 2015, he absolutely loves it and so do I. When I first visited the nursery, I was made so welcome and since day 1, the staff have been fantastic. I was dreading leaving my baby to return to work but it was made so much easier with the
help from the team. One of the main things that stuck with me is that from the first day I was told that if I missed my boy too much I could pop in at any time to see him - this made me feel instantly relaxed knowing that I was able to just pop in and peer through the door. My favourite part of a Thursday is picking up my son and hearing all about his day at School. The staff are kind, caring and helpful. The manager and deputy are just the best. They work so hard to make the nursery what it is today, which I would class as one of the best nurseries in Bracknell. If you are looking for a Nursery/Pre-school then visiting Bright Horizons Bracknell is a must - I cannot recommend it enough.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons in Bracknell for well over a year, and he loves it! There are so many things for him to do, and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy welcoming the children each day. For me, a real selling point was the big garden as my son has a lot of energy to burn, but as a
parent, I’ve also been really impressed with the regular communication, themed days and efforts to add in visits from people like the police and dentists. The meals also look amazing (to be honest, I often wish I could eat there too!) Finally, I’ve noticed a big improvement in my son’s speech and manners since being at Bright Horizons.

Our son has been going to Bright Horizons Day Nursery since he turned one. The change in his ability to communicate with others and also his confidence in talking with people is incredible. I can't overemphasise how happy and content he is at this nursery. The staff here are so friendly and caring and
our son is always so happy going to nursery and enjoys all of the activities that he is involved in throughout the time he spends there. Some mornings, (very few) our son gets a bit upset going in as he gets very clingy and doesn't want to leave us, but the staff really help when this happens, by giving our son lots of cuddles and really reassuring him that things are ok. This is so helpful as it relieves the stress of us having to leave him knowing that he is getting the best love and care with the staff. We are really happy with his development at this nursery and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other parents who are looking to send their children there.

Bracknell day nursery is a very pleasant environment for children, the rooms are set up with activities for the children to play with during the day and are adapted throughout to the children's interests.
Children are encouraged to be individuals and treat their peers as equals, learning about diversity
and other cultures.
The garden is large, so plenty of room for children to explore all types of physical activities.
Pre-school encourage children to learn to read and write their own name before heading to school. And have fantastic resources to complete science activities.
The manager and deputy are friendly, helpful and encouraging. Overall a very friendly nursery.

I can't praise the nursery enough. My son has been attending since he turned one - he is now coming up to three. He loves the rooms, each progression has been greatly supported by the staff. He loves attending and is always full of stories as to what he's got up to. I hear him singing songs regularly
that he has clearly learnt there.


There is also lots of outdoor time which I'm a fan of. Each of the staff could not be kinder and more welcoming. There are lots of different events and the new manager has really brought a new lease of life to the nursery. I really can't fault it. Highly recommend and I'm so pleased that my son is doing so well.

I have experienced different roles within my career ranging from working as a Nanny to my current position as third in charge. Along the way, I have gained a great deal of knowledge through experiences caring for children aged between 3 months and 12 years of age, and I am passionate about providing children with a safe and secure environment, enriched with a wide range of learning opportunities, that are supported by caring and knowledgeable staff.
