Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a purpose-built setting located in the heart of Coulsdon Town Centre, offering high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With both full-time and term-time only sessions available, the nursery provides flexible options to support busy families. Situated just off Chipstead Valley Road, the nursery is easily accessible from Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South train stations, with on-site parking and a buggy store for convenient drop-offs and pick-ups.

Each room is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development. The baby room features a peaceful sleep space and direct access to a shaded garden. Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy the Daisy room, which includes a dedicated reading room and free-flow access to a large all-weather garden. Children benefit from a wide range of outdoor experiences, including a mud kitchen, water play area, climbing frame, growing garden, and bug hotel. Indoors, the sensory room offers a calming space for reflection and exploration.

A qualified chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals and snacks daily, all included in the nursery’s all-inclusive fees, which also cover branded nappies and wipes. My daughter's carer is amazing, she has been so good with my daughter that every time my daughter comes to nursery, she is excited and can't wait to come here. All the staff are lovely and my daughter has grown up and is a chatty, bubbly child.
I can't wait to see what creations she brings home as
she often comes home with either a lovely painting or some cakes she has made. I can't fault this Nursery. My niece previously attended here and loved it, which is the reason behind why my partner and I picked this nursery for our daughter to go to.

Wonderful nursery and my son is very happy there. Facilities are great, with lots of toys and activities and plenty of free-flow, allowing the children to choose their own activities. Staff always friendly and cheerful and very caring.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 18 months old. He is now three and a half and I cannot thank Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool enough. All the staff are fantastic, I felt like he was being looked after by a member of the family.
They are all extremely caring and kind. He settled in so well and enjoyed every day that he attended.


He always comes home extremely happy and looked forward to going back and seeing his friends.


Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a lovely nursery. The staff are extremely kind and caring and I would recommend it to any parent thinking about sending their child there.

I really can not fault this nursery. My daughter loves attending and you can see the impact it has had on her development, social skills and her eating.


The staff are lovely, welcoming, attentive and professional. The children have plenty of activities, educational and messy play. The outdoor spaces

always seem to be improving and are well used and loved by the children.


I have experiences of other nurseries from my eldest daughter and this one is amazing. Great value for money too. I would recommend to anyone.

My daughter who is 12 years old, my 9-year-old niece, 6-year-old niece and now my 4-year-old nephew who is going to school next month, have all been to this nursery. There is nothing bad I could say about this nursery. It's gone from strength to strength and the staff are excellent and very caring.
I absolutely love the new gardens and it's obvious that the children do too. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

I can't fault this nursery at all. My nephew has enjoyed every minute of his time since he was 16 months old to now being a big boy going to school in September. He is happy, always laughing with his peers and loved every staff member who he had the pleasure of being around. They cared for him so well
and taught him everything he knows and he is sad to be leaving soon. I have to say as well that the nursery gardens look fab :)

My grandaughter has always been happy to come into the nursery. She has enjoyed playing and learning and the children seem to relate well to one another. Staff have always been helpful and caring. Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

I have been working in childcare since 2006, where I started as an apprentice and gained Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare and Education with City and Guilds. I have been in Bright Horizons for 16 years starting with Casterbridge where I worked at Wishing Willow in Banstead. I then progressed in my job role from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Nurse when I gained my NVQ Level 3 then from there I was promoted to room manager then to a junior deputy and from then to Deputy Manager.


I am now the nursery Manager. Since 2016 I have worked at Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. My role is also the Senco Coordinator where I work closely with the staff team and parents to ensure that I am here to support them if needed at any time. I also have the role and responsibility of being the health and safety coordinator where it is my job to ensure the nursery environment is kept clean and safe and to report if we have any health and safety concerns and to also ensure everyone is kept safe.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2017 gaining skills and experiences in various positions within the company. I have always had a passion for working with children promoting their learning and development supporting activity planning to help children meet their learning milestones. I enjoy working in a team, supporting others and meeting new people. I have a daughter who is 2 during my time off I enjoy the outdoors, cooking and shopping.
