Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a purpose-built setting located in the heart of Coulsdon Town Centre, offering high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. I'm extremely happy with the caring service.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone. My 19 month old little boy is really happy playing and I get feedback every day when I come and collect him.

My son is leaving Teddies Coulsdon after 3 and a 1/2 years to start school and I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff that have cared for him during his time there. It is an excellent nursery and my son has loved every minute of it. My baby daughter is due to start there in September
after my maternity leave and I have no return to work worries this time as I know she will be cared for in the best way.

My experience with the day nursery is very, very excellent and I am very happy with the nursery. All the staff members are very nice, helpful and friendly and also the manager is a very nice person. I can recommend this nursery for all my friends. I hope my daughter can stay here for a long time.

Very pleased with the learning strategies, opportunities for messy play and interaction with carers and other children. Both my children attend and I love that the nursery lets them both spend time together. I am pleased with how the nursery has "Leaps and bounds" and "mad academy" in to allow different
play and learning activities.

My daughter couldn't be happier, healthier or more engaged with her play. Her key worker is brilliant and I am reassured that the nursery keep me informed of anything I need to be aware of.
The informal atmosphere, range of play options and support we get is really commendable.

I have been delighted with the care my children have received at Teddies. The staff in the baby room are engaged with the children and my daughter is always delighted to see them. They have been very accommodating and supportive of dietary requirements as well.
My son attended for 3 years and thoroughly
enjoyed pre-school. The staff took great care of him and genuinely cared about his well being. They did some delightful activities like hatching and caring for chicks, lots of crafts and themed days such as frozen and superheroes.

I have recently registered my daughter at the nursery, she has been attending for 2 months now and I can confidently say has settled in extremely well and her development has continued to grow. Since starting Coulsdon she is now able to communicate using 3 words at a time. The staff that look after
her really know her needs and I am really happy with the care and interaction they give her. I feel happy to leave her in the mornings when I go to work and when I pick her up she is in a good mood and shows me what she's done at nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

I have been working in childcare since 2006, where I started as an apprentice and gained Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare and Education with City and Guilds. I have been in Bright Horizons for 16 years starting with Casterbridge where I worked at Wishing Willow in Banstead. I then progressed in my job role from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Nurse when I gained my NVQ Level 3 then from there I was promoted to room manager then to a junior deputy and from then to Deputy Manager.


I am now the nursery Manager. Since 2016 I have worked at Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. My role is also the Senco Coordinator where I work closely with the staff team and parents to ensure that I am here to support them if needed at any time. I also have the role and responsibility of being the health and safety coordinator where it is my job to ensure the nursery environment is kept clean and safe and to report if we have any health and safety concerns and to also ensure everyone is kept safe.

My name is Petrina. I have a child care Level 3 in Children, Learning play and Development and a BA in Education and Social Science. I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2017 gaining skills and experiences in various positions within the company. I have always had a passion for working with children promoting their learning and development supporting activity planning to help children meet their learning milestones. I enjoy working in a team, supporting others and meeting new people. I have a daughter who is 2 during my time off I enjoy the outdoors, cooking and shopping.
