Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a purpose-built setting located in the heart of Coulsdon Town Centre, offering high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With both full-time and term-time only sessions available, the nursery provides flexible options to support busy families. Situated just off Chipstead Valley Road, the nursery is easily accessible from Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South train stations, with on-site parking and a buggy store for convenient drop-offs and pick-ups.

Each room is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development. The baby room features a peaceful sleep space and direct access to a shaded garden. The staff at the Nursey are fantastic. They welcome the children with so much laughter and enthusiasm and support. My own child has learning difficulties and they have been such a source of help over the last few years working with him to support his own personal goals and always updating me on his
progress and the smallest steps which mean so much to me. I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you.

I have both of my children here since they were 1 years old and they have thoroughly enjoyed and thrived at Bright Horizons Coulsdon. They enjoy spending time with all the staff and get to try a wide variety of activities.
The staff listen to your requests and do everything possible to keep to your
structure/routine. The food seems to go down well with the kids and they’re always happy to say bye to me and totter in.
It’s a lovely little nursery with a really convenient location.

Whilst my child has only been at the nursery since September, I feel more than comfortable leaving him with the friendly staff who are always willing to answer any questions from a first-time mum. I feel confident in their ability to look after my child and he always comes out looking happy with the
day he’s spent with the nursery. It appears the staff are doing all they can in these current circumstances when trying to keep themselves and the children safe. I look forward to the day when I can sneak a peak of him playing before pick up.

My son attended this nursery from age 1-4 years old. He has just started school.
The staff have always been so kind, patient and caring, and he has enjoyed his time there. The Management team are amazing, professional and always accommodating even with last-minute requests.
My son has developed,
and I have seen his knowledge and confidence grow, and this is partly due to his attendance here.
I would definitely recommend it.

Everyone was very welcoming when entering the building, they followed what I presume to be your policy as they checked who I was when they opened the door.
Handover was given in detail and was offered help to the door as I had a load of bags.

We have sent both of our daughters to this nursery. My eldest left in Sept 2019 to begin Reception and my youngest is still attending. We are extremely pleased with the care they have received. The management are professional and approachable. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable in the Early Years
and caring. We have been impressed with the transition across the 3 rooms for our children. They have ensured our daughters were familiar with the new room and staff before they moved which helped greatly. Lately, I was impressed with the learning my daughter did for Chinese New Year and the fruit tasting which she talked about at home. Highly recommend!

My daughter took a while to settle when she first started nursery, crying each morning at drop off and is the same now she has moved rooms. But the staff are great with her giving lots of cuddles and she is fine soon after we leave.
I was also pleased that they were happy to use our reusable nappies
as well as going along with us using a potty much earlier than is usual. I believe this helped to stop daytime nappies as early as we did. Also, having to start a dairy-free diet was very well accommodated.

My daughter goes to Bright Horizons Coulsdon. Her 1st nursery she settled in well. Good staff and management. Staff are really good. They care for the children really well.
They teach all kinds of good habits. Pretty impressed with the Coulsdon nursery.

We had a slightly shaky start at this nursery in January 2019 under previous management. I raised concerns with head office and they were incredibly receptive. Interim management were excellent, and the new manager has been fantastic. Our daughter has flourished at the nursery, the staff there are all
lovely, helpful and happy. It is a welcoming environment for parents and children alike. We work full time, so when sending our toddler to nursery for that amount of time, our paramount concern is that she is safe, happy and well. Our daughter's interpersonal skills have developed so much, and she is becoming a confident, intelligent and feisty little lady. The nursery are receptive to all our requests, and they do their utmost to care and develop her. The nursery has transformed under new management, and I cannot commend the manager highly enough for her hard work and diligence in the short time she has been in management there. We would recommend the nursery to others.

We have been so happy with our daughter's care at Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. The staff go out of their way to make her time there fun, fulfilling and full of love and attention. It is a very warm and welcoming place and we are very glad we chose it as our daughter's nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for about a month now and has settled very quickly due to the friendly staff. They have been amazing to both my son and myself which has made him starting nursery easier for me. The nursery itself is very clean and nicely laid out and have loads of different activities
and toys which my son loves. The garden is amazing and good for all ages. Very happy with the staff and the best nursery I've seen.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

I have been working in childcare since 2006, where I started as an apprentice and gained Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare and Education with City and Guilds. I have been in Bright Horizons for 16 years starting with Casterbridge where I worked at Wishing Willow in Banstead. I then progressed in my job role from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Nurse when I gained my NVQ Level 3 then from there I was promoted to room manager then to a junior deputy and from then to Deputy Manager.


I am now the nursery Manager. Since 2016 I have worked at Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. My role is also the Senco Coordinator where I work closely with the staff team and parents to ensure that I am here to support them if needed at any time. I also have the role and responsibility of being the health and safety coordinator where it is my job to ensure the nursery environment is kept clean and safe and to report if we have any health and safety concerns and to also ensure everyone is kept safe.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2017 gaining skills and experiences in various positions within the company. I have always had a passion for working with children promoting their learning and development supporting activity planning to help children meet their learning milestones. I enjoy working in a team, supporting others and meeting new people. I have a daughter who is 2 during my time off I enjoy the outdoors, cooking and shopping.
