Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool

My grandson attended the nursery before lockdown and is now in school. He was always very happy to go into the nursery and sometimes didn't want to leave. He learnt so much during his time at Coulsdon, and I have seen him grow into a confident and chatty young boy. The nursery is lovely, and the staff are fantastic and always smiling. I can't fault the nursery at all.

Our son transferred to Bright Horizons after the lockdown lifted in summer this year. We were worried about him settling in when everything was new and very different with the added covid restrictions. The staff have been excellent and he settled in straight away and is always happy to be going to nursery in the mornings. We have been pleased with the range of activities he has been involved in, he has shown a lot more interest in letters and his writing has improved considerably. I would gladly recommend this nursery.

The staff at the Nursey are fantastic. They welcome the children with so much laughter and enthusiasm and support. My own child has learning difficulties and they have been such a source of help over the last few years working with him to support his own personal goals and always updating me on his progress and the smallest steps which mean so much to me. I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you.

It’s a lovely little nursery with a really convenient location.

Whilst my child has only been at the nursery since September, I feel more than comfortable leaving him with the friendly staff who are always willing to answer any questions from a first-time mum. I feel confident in their ability to look after my child and he always comes out looking happy with the day he’s spent with the nursery. It appears the staff are doing all they can in these current circumstances when trying to keep themselves and the children safe. I look forward to the day when I can sneak a peak of him playing before pick up.

Our son has been here for about six months. We were worried about him settling in, but the staff were professional, patient and really caring. We feel very assured knowing that he is in great hands.

Handover was given in detail and was offered help to the door as I had a load of bags.

This is very well organised friendly nursery who consistently show flexibility and a caring attitude to nervous parents and children.

Caring, friendly and supportive staff assisted by a wide variety of events and activities, have led to great steps in social and educational development of my child.

We have sent both of our daughters to this nursery. My eldest left in Sept 2019 to begin Reception and my youngest is still attending. We are extremely pleased with the care they have received. The management are professional and approachable. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable in the Early Years and caring. We have been impressed with the transition across the 3 rooms for our children. They have ensured our daughters were familiar with the new room and staff before they moved which helped greatly. Lately, I was impressed with the learning my daughter did for Chinese New Year and the fruit tasting which she talked about at home. Highly recommend!

I was also pleased that they were happy to use our reusable nappies as well as going along with us using a potty much earlier than is usual. I believe this helped to stop daytime nappies as early as we did. Also, having to start a dairy-free diet was very well accommodated.

Love this nursery. The staff and support staff are very friendly and helpful. This, in turn, transfers to the children.

They teach all kinds of good habits. Pretty impressed with the Coulsdon nursery.

We had a slightly shaky start at this nursery in January 2019 under previous management. I raised concerns with head office and they were incredibly receptive. Interim management were excellent, and the new manager has been fantastic. Our daughter has flourished at the nursery, the staff there are all lovely, helpful and happy. It is a welcoming environment for parents and children alike. We work full time, so when sending our toddler to nursery for that amount of time, our paramount concern is that she is safe, happy and well. Our daughter's interpersonal skills have developed so much, and she is becoming a confident, intelligent and feisty little lady. The nursery are receptive to all our requests, and they do their utmost to care and develop her. The nursery has transformed under new management, and I cannot commend the manager highly enough for her hard work and diligence in the short time she has been in management there. We would recommend the nursery to others.

We have been so happy with our daughter's care at Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. The staff go out of their way to make her time there fun, fulfilling and full of love and attention. It is a very warm and welcoming place and we are very glad we chose it as our daughter's nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for about a month now and has settled very quickly due to the friendly staff. They have been amazing to both my son and myself which has made him starting nursery easier for me. The nursery itself is very clean and nicely laid out and have loads of different activities and toys which my son loves. The garden is amazing and good for all ages. Very happy with the staff and the best nursery I've seen.

Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a vibrant and welcoming environment and our son has developed very well from 11 months through to preschool. Food, cleanliness and atmosphere is good and facilities are stimulating and well maintained. Staff have excellent connection to the children.
