Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is a purpose-built setting located in the heart of Coulsdon Town Centre, offering high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With both full-time and term-time only sessions available, the nursery provides flexible options to support busy families. Situated just off Chipstead Valley Road, the nursery is easily accessible from Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South train stations, with on-site parking and a buggy store for convenient drop-offs and pick-ups.

Each room is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development. The baby room features a peaceful sleep space and direct access to a shaded garden. Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy the Daisy room, which includes a dedicated reading room and free-flow access to a large all-weather garden. Children benefit from a wide range of outdoor experiences, including a mud kitchen, water play area, climbing frame, growing garden, and bug hotel. Indoors, the sensory room offers a calming space for reflection and exploration.

Our daughter has been at Teddies Coulsdon for approx 15 months.


She has developed a close bond with many of nursery staff, in particular, two ladies who have been absolutely brilliant.
As a parent, it's always reassuring dropping your child at nursery and seeing them run into their open arms.


The

service we have received has been second to none. It has always felt like a personal one to one relationship rather than just being a number.


We’d like to say a big thank you to the manager for running a very well organised and professional day care service and wish Teddies Coulsdon the best of luck.

I am extremely happy with how my children have settled in the nursery.
I have one child in preschool- they do so many activities.
My son always comes home and tells me about all the exciting things he has learnt during the day and the activities he really enjoyed.
My son settled and made friends
quickly thanks to the excellent staff in that room!


I have a daughter in the baby room, my daughter is very particular about her routine - the staff have really helped follow her routine and ease her into nursery life. The staff provide an interesting and very caring environment for her!

My son moved to Teddies in September from another nursery and is loving it. The staff at pre-school offer a perfect balance between cuddles and encouraging independence. The staff are very attentive and always child focused - I have never witness them 'just chatting' or gossiping. The nursery has a
lovely atmosphere and my child has learnt a lot whilst there - days are varied and he always comes home tired but happy.

I always receive a warm welcome and a good feedback from how he has been and what he has been up to. He has really enjoyed his time here and will be sad to see him leave to go to big school but I know he will have fond memories of his time here.

My daughters love attending Teddies Nurseries Coulsdon. Children are encouraged to learn and also have time to play with their friends. They also enjoy the external clubs that come to nursery like animal lab, mad academy and leaps and bounds. I feel very comfortable with leaving my kids with the staff

My daughter started out at Teddies Feb 2016 and I must say she has been way happier than the previous nursery she attended. She always looks forward to going out in the mornings and usually looks happy and content when she gets picked up too. The staff are extremely friendly as well and their enthusiasm
to discuss my child's daily activities with me shows that they are truly dedicated and love what they do.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and she loves to talk about it at home and tells me all her friends names and also who looks after her. She is always happy to be left in the mornings. She also likes using the computer and iPad at nursery and I feel this really helps further her learning.

When I collect my niece from her nursery she is always so happy and I can see how much the staff care for her. They can tell me so much about what she has done that day. She does lots of painting and messy play. She is also always in the garden which I love to hear because she is definitely an outside

I have picked up a few times my two daughters at nursery and Everytime I have found the girls happy running around not wanting to go home. My wife does most of the drop offs and pick ups and the girls are always so thrilled to go. The staff is especially nice; the girls have built strong bonds with

I have been working in childcare since 2006, where I started as an apprentice and gained Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare and Education with City and Guilds. I have been in Bright Horizons for 16 years starting with Casterbridge where I worked at Wishing Willow in Banstead. I then progressed in my job role from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Nurse when I gained my NVQ Level 3 then from there I was promoted to room manager then to a junior deputy and from then to Deputy Manager.


I am now the nursery Manager. Since 2016 I have worked at Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool. My role is also the Senco Coordinator where I work closely with the staff team and parents to ensure that I am here to support them if needed at any time. I also have the role and responsibility of being the health and safety coordinator where it is my job to ensure the nursery environment is kept clean and safe and to report if we have any health and safety concerns and to also ensure everyone is kept safe.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2017 gaining skills and experiences in various positions within the company.
