Since the age of 9 months our daughter has attended Hopscotch Portswood. She's been in the Baby room, Waddlers and Toddlers. We've been really happy with our experience with all the Staff in all the rooms. Our daughter is happy and confident and loves attending. She does loads of fun activities, songs
goes in the garden frequently and eats really well. The day has structure so she knows what to expect and they all sit down for meals together on little tables and chairs. On collection we get a daily handover and I feel all room Staff know her well. The atmosphere is pretty much always organised and calm.

We have been vey impressed with our time at Hopscotch for our two children. The care is excellent; they care deeply about the children, their development and nurturing. Our children have really blossomed in their skill development, knowledge and in confidence. The preparation for school is very valuable
and the activities are varied and highly engaging as well as fun. The staff communicate very well with parents in providing updates, discussing assessments/observations and the support in areas of difficulty has been excellent. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Exceptional service to our child for toddlers to pre school.
Have adapted activities to ensure development with emotions and co play have been hit.

Our little boy absolutely loves attending Lee Hopscotch. He is so well looked after and fed. He eats like a king and has the most amount of fun playing each day. The staff always have the children's needs and best interests in mind.


The activities and days are planned out as well as if he attended

school already. There are objectives, education and all the help needed at hand.


I feel so happy that my son can attend such a lovely setting. It makes me at ease going to work, knowing he is being so well cared for and is learning lots.


Support is always there not only for him, but also for me as a mother and as a first time mum, I couldn't be more grateful.


So far my son has experienced the baby room, Waddlers and Toddlers. I can safely say he's loved each room and has always had the best care in each.


Thank you for all you do Lee Hopscotch. The team are incredible and I know I'm amongst so many who really appreciate all you do and think you're all fab!

We absolutely love Hopscotch in Lee. From the very beginning, we've felt so lucky that our child attends such a special nursery.
The staff are truly amazing - caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in every child's development and happiness. It's clear they really know and understand each child
as an individual, and that makes such a difference. We've always felt completely confident leaving our child in their hands.
The provision is incredible. The environment is stimulating, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up to encourage curiosity, independence and creativity. There is always something exciting going on, and the range of activities they put on is fantastic. From themed days to creative projects and outdoor learning, it's clear so much effort goes into making each day engaging and fun.
Most importantly, our child is happy, thriving and excited to go in every day - which says everything. We couldn't recommend Hopscotch in Lee more highly. It really is a wonderful nursery.

Hopscotch is such a wonderful nursery. My child loves attending, and his individual needs are so well catered for. They are proactive in addressing any concerns and go above and beyond to accommodate your child's needs, and they are so supportive towards parents. Whenever you enter the nursery, the
atmosphere is always so lovely, and you can tell the staff are passionate about their roles and love teaching the children. There are great outdoor spaces, which my child loves to explore, and even an extra space upstairs for soft play.

Our son started in January 2026. All of the nursery staff have been so welcoming, empathetic and supportive.
We truly feel part of the family already.
Nothing is too much for ANY of the staff. The staff within the room show such affection to our boy- from brushing his hair, cuddling him etc.
Retuning
to work has been made so much easier due to this nursery.
The food he eats is amazing.
We receive weekly round ups with pictures and updates on activities. They access the local community.
He's already learnt so many skills.

After feeling a little anxious about finding the right nursery and space for our little boy to thrive, in Harbourside we found it!
Our son has absolutely and still absolutely loves nursery. The outdoor element of the nursery is what set them apart from the others and through the summer and autumn
this was incredible to watch how our son thrived by being able to explore and play within a natural environment.
Although the winter has been colder, the adventures he has have been second to none. His speech, walking and eagerness to explore has been inspired and I am sure that's helped with the team there at the nursery.
I am also shared photos and updates throughout the day which has helped mumma settle into the experience too. I would highly recommend and look forward to seeing how this relationship develops as my son grows over the years with the team and nursery.

The staff are amazing, they build good relationships with parents and most importantly the children. Great choice of messy play, crafts, outside play available every day. Overall, a fantastic journey for my daughter. My daughter started at Hopscotch Nursery in May last year, and since then, it has been a truly positive experience for both her and us. From the very beginning, the staff were caring, attentive, and patient, which helped her settle in comfortably. Over time,
she has grown very fond of her carers and formed lovely friendships, which is evident in her excitement and enthusiasm every morning when going to nursery. As parents, we have seen remarkable progress in her confidence, social skills, and overall development. The variety of activities offered, both indoors and outdoors, has played a significant role in supporting her growth and curiosity. We appreciate the outdoor play space and the opportunity for children to engage with nature regularly. My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 8 months old and is due to leave in September for school. She has loved her time at Hopscotch and still gets excited to go in every morning. She speaks so fondly of all the practitioners in preschool and loves to tell me about her day every evening.
I feel that her key worker was a perfect fit for my daughter and matches her energy perfectly, it's clear that they have a wonderful bond and my daughter adores her. Anything we're focussing on at home has been followed through within the nursery without needing to ask for support in these areas. The management team are active and visible throughout the setting and it's evident they have good understanding of the children as individuals. I couldn't ask for a better team of people to trust with my daughter everyday, knowing she is safe and happy when at the nursery.

E has settled in beautifully. The staff are warm and friendly. I always feel reassured that she's in the best possible care.
Im kept up to date with any concerns or issues. They also manage to nail nap times which has always been a struggle so that alone deserves a stars!

Our twins have been going to Hopscotch for the last year, and overall I am incredibly happy with the support and engagement from staff. They call or message me if there's any slight issue or concerns, and do take any concerns seriously. The twins absolutely love it there and are such happy, social and
clever little cookies, all with the help of the Hopscotch staff who are understandably a huge part of their lives.

Great nursery, my daughter loves it here, they are supportive, caring staff and they are great for development and learning. Bonus is having the app to be updated on what they have done that day and the great food they provide.

I am extremely happy with this nursery. The staff are fab and it feels like they genuinely have a great relationship with my child, he always comes home happy and excited to go into nursery. He has especially thrived in the preschool room where he has an excellent key worker who tailors activities to
his learning and development needs. I am happy with the communication from management around my child's needs and at times there has been situations I've requested more conversations and explanations around, and they have been more than happy to do that to ensure both me and my child are happy there.
Overall I will be sad to see my child leave this year and would absolutely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at hopscotch Gosport for almost 2 years now. It is a very nurturing and loving environment where my daughter has thrived, I love seeing her come home with new skills that have been taught by some of the wonderful staff, there isn't anywhere I would rather my daughter be. She has
been from the Baby room and soon to be heading through to preschool. We have had some small issue, mostly to do with disorganisation amongst bags however we raised this concern to management who have worked hard to find the root cause of the problems and work with their staff to find a solution that leaves parents and their staff feeling happy. I am confident I can raise any issue and it will be listened too and resolved with care and professionalism. Since Georgia became manager she is constantly working to improve the environment in anyway possible, I see the nursery growing into something even better than it has been before.
