Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee on Solent is a purpose-built facility, with a spacious interior and approach that is child-centred.

Professionals ensure that children enjoy and achieve in all areas of learning. The outdoor environments are welcoming and engaging and offer ample opportunities for children to express their independence and creative skills.

The layout of the nursery allows for total free flow from indoor to outdoor areas with each of the playrooms having direct access to outdoor play areas. This allows the dedicated childcare team to follow and enhance children’s own interests and means that children are engaged in their play and learning.

My daughter is in the preschool room at Hopscotch Lee, and it has truly been the most wonderful experience! She absolutely loves it - every morning she runs in with a huge smile on her face, excited for the day ahead. The staff are incredible; each and every one takes the time to share something personal
about her during handover, which makes me feel so connected to her day.
It's clear how much they care - it genuinely feels like she has a second family at the nursery. We couldn't be happier. Her development has come on in leaps and bounds, and the activities they provide are clearly tailored to support her next steps. The updates we receive about what she's been doing are always thoughtful and show how intentional they are in helping her grow and thrive.

Hopscotch Lee on Solent is a wonderful nursary. Staff are lovely, and the setting and environment is incredibly nurturing and fulfilling. I wouldn't want to take my son anywhere else than Hopscotch nurseries as they set the standard.

A fantastic nursery where both my son and daughter attend. The staff are fantastic with the children and attentive and willing to talk through any concerns or questions we have. I feel completely at ease leaving our children there and would recommend to anyone.

Hopscotch is such a wonderful place for our baby. The staff are incredibly nurturing and have helped my baby settle so well. They've always got a range of activities and special theme days going on to keep the children engaged, and they take the children on regular, local outings. The way they've
handled my child's allergy has been fantastic, meaning I can rest assured knowing how the food has been prepared and all of the procedures are there being followed to keep him safe. I've also already seen such a difference in my baby's confidence and social understanding, which is a credit to all the staff at Hopscotch. Thank you for all you do - you're amazing!

Lovely, friendly staff have helped our son settle into nursery in the babies room. They all really seem to care about the children and are helpful if there is a concern. The location is nice by the beach and they do little walks in town too. Would recommend the nursery.

Our daughter has been attending Hopscotch for the last two years. We've been so confident and pleased with the care and support she's received. She's settled so well into each age group/room and we've really felt staff have been invested in her learning and development. We are reassured by how much

Our son loves nursery and all the staff he has met throughout Babies and Waddlers. His development has progressed in leaps and bounds and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.


The staff are warm, friendly and caring to both children and parents. We feel completely supported at all times

My daughter has been going to Hopscotch in Lee since she was 9 months old she is now 3 and a half. I want to say a big thank you to the management team as well as the under two's team, toddler team and pre-school team for consistently providing a safe and inspirational environment that has allowed my
daughter to thrive. For loving my daughter as if she was your own and for all the support and aftercare for her during her major surgery as well as when she returned back to the setting. I wanted to particularly highlight the speed in which one specific staff member let me know that my daughter's ear had begun leaking after her operation, which allowed us to get her into A&E and start her treatment swiftly before it developed into another mastoiditis infection. Also to her key workers for being the most maternal key workers to my daughter and helping her grow. I honestly couldn't have wished for better care for my daughter. I would 100% recommend this nursery without question.

My daughter's provision is great and she loves coming to nursery. The staff are always helpful and communication is excellent. I didn't want my daughter to attend any nursery but these guys have completely changed my mind. I cannot recommend them enough.

Hopscotch Lee-on-Solent provide excellent care for our little one. We are well communicated with as parents and love using the app to see what they've been up to all day. The staff are amazing and friendly and our child has come on leaps and bounds since starting. No two days are the same for them as
they are always rotating toys and trying new things to bring on the learning. Thanks so much! Our child also eats like royalty with the lovely food provided every day.

We have had the most wonderful experience with our daughter starting nursery. Right from the outset, when viewing the nursery, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and it was clear to see the children were happy and the staff were too, which is so important. Our daughter has settled in so well, and
the staff in Babies, and the managers, have all been incredible in their support and reassurance - the transition to starting nursery can be just as difficult for parents! We couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

My little girl started toddlers in September 2023, she was a little slow on her speech and was a little nervous trying to make friends and socialise more, she's now in the pre-school room and I am so happy with the progress she has made! My daughter has started nursery here in September and she has made so much progress in such a short space of time, they have taught her great skills like listening ears and kind words. She loves "school" so much the staff and management are so supportive and caring towards our daughter and any parent

Hopscotch Lee-on-Solent is and continues to be an outstanding setting for my son in all aspects. He absolutely loves attending and the passion all staff have for the care and wellbeing of the children really shines through daily. I joined Hopscotch in 2007 while studying at college. I very quickly found my own beliefs fell in line with Hopscotch’s ethos and began my journey as a Nursery practitioner in our Titchfield setting. After some time away travelling, I came back to Hopscotch. For 5 years I was based at our biggest setting in Botley as the Deputy Manager and gained my Level 5 in Leadership and Management in the Early Years.


I work closely alongside my Deputy Managers, Aimee Lewis and Maddie Stevens, together we share the same goals of delivering the highest quality of childcare. We know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your child on the first day and my team and I will work closely with you to help that first day back at work run as smoothly as possible!
