There are large spacious rooms which allow continuous provision and free flow. The children are engaged in purposeful play and each child is supported to develop to their full potential. They are proud of the high standard of care that they provide and how they work in partnership with all parents and carers meeting the needs of all the families that come to Hopscotch Botley.

Extensive outdoor areas offer each child the opportunity to explore the outside world and a dedicated team ensure that each child is engaged in their play and learning both indoors and out.

The baby room at Hopscotch Botley has been absolutely wonderful for our little boy. He started just before his first birthday, and from day one, the team has provided everything we could have hoped for and more. We've always felt completely at ease leaving him each day, knowing that his schedule is
thoughtfully tailored to his needs and that the staff are flexible and attentive, always willing to adjust routine to suit him. What truly stands out is the warmth and care they show - there's never a shortage of cuddles, and it's clear how much they genuinely care for the children. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos, which give us so much reassurance and joy seeing what he's been up to. He's learning so much every day, and he doesn't stop babbling at us on the journey home, filling us in on his day at nursery.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire baby room team - you've made such a positive impact on our son's last few months, and we're so grateful.

My son Oliver has been attending Hopscotch Botley for over a year now. Both myself and my wife are extremely happy with the nursery. Everyone from the lovely ladies on the front desk to all the staff working with the children have been amazing! Helpful, kind and so thoughtful with the children. The
dinner ladies should get a mention too - the menu is amazing! Highly recommend Hopscotch and will enjoy watching Oliver develop even further there.

So far, I have been very pleased with the progress my daughter has made at the nursery. All the staff are very caring and nurturing. There have been a few times where my daughter has come out with such a crusty nose, but I understand that they are caring for quite a few children. I love that app. Being
able to see photos of my daughter's day and updates throughout her time at nursery is great. The only downfall of this app was receiving 2 late fees, trying to make a payment, only to be told later that you can't use the 'payment' icon to pay the nursery fees.

My son started at Hopscotch when he was almost exactly one year old and now he is nearly three. Hopscotch has been the making of him, he is thriving and he has developed so many social skills. They do so many different hands-on activities which use a range of physical, creative and intellectual skills
which really shows when he comes home and shows us things he can do that we never taught him!
All the staff are lovely and you tell they genuinely care about the children and create bonds with them.
Also the food they are offered is really wholesome and varied.
Overall 10/10 and I would definitely recommend Hopscotch to any prospective parent.

Hopscotch Nursery has been brilliant. Our little boy loves going in and seeing his friends and playing. The team in each room are really passionate about the care and progression of the children and you can see that with the opportunities and provision they provide. Our son has transitioned rooms and
is going to be transitioning again soon, this was always a little worrying but the ladies were brilliant at sharing information and answering any questions you may have. We are expecting another baby and we have already put in for a place for them to go, as we know that they will be happy going to Hopscotch too!

We love Hopscotch for our daughter, the staff are lovely and always kind and welcoming. They make a special effort to know what each child 'needs' when they first arrive in the morning, and work well to help them settle for the day. There's such a wide range of activities, and we're forever noticing

Our daughter has been going to Hopscotch for a year now! 6 months in baby room and 6 months in waddlers and me and my husband regularly say to each other how glad we are to have chosen Hopscotch Botley. It really does feel like a family home there, the welcoming faces of the members of staff in the
mornings, who greet every child by their name (a little touch but even after day 1 they knew our daughter), I often see older children who have gone onto school hanging out at reception with them when they drop off their younger siblings which I think says it all around the relationship they establish. Each of the room teams our daughter has been looked after by have gone above and beyond to get to know her, support and teach her and they really feel like an extension of the family.
We trust the team and would recommend Hopscotch to anyone looking for that home away from home feeling for their little one!

Such a fantastic nursery, putting the children at the heart of all their choices and decisions. I have been super impressed with Hopscoth Nursery, Botley since day one! Throughout the day, we get updates on what our child has been eating, how long she's been in the garden, how long she napped for and her nappy changes. They also give a comprehensive run-through on pickup as well as regularly posting
photos on the nursery app so we can see how much fun our child is getting up to. They also assess the child's progress and inform us of her communication, social and physical capabilities. They've really helped our child's speech develop and she's constantly learning through play, songs and books at nursery. They really take an interest in seeing each child develop. Hopscotch also makes sure that our child safely explores the world around her, taking her for days out to the park and allowing her to explore their big garden! This is a really great nursery and we couldn't be happier with the environment our child is attending every week.

Given our excellent experience, we wouldn't consider using any nursery/preschool other than Hopscotch Botley. The team are fantastic. Everyone knows our son, not just his immediate room team, and greet him by name. He's always made to feel welcome and cared for in the setting. He's had a wonderful range
of opportunities, and we love the addition of woodworking. The outdoor space is fantastic. The Botley team have also created lovely experiences and opportunities for parents, and are always supportive, offering advice. The team have really helped us to foster a curiosity for the world around us and a love of learning for our son. Staff take an interest in what he does when he's not at their setting, making it feel like a very personalised service. It feels like we, as parents, work as a team with the staff to create a warm, happy environment in which our son can thrive.

We highly recommend Hopscotch. Both our children have attended the setting. The children have always loved the ladies across the different rooms and refer to them as 'my teachers'. They love the outside space and activities and are allowed independence across the preschool areas. They have built some
lovely friendships and have enjoyed their time at Hopscotch.
The team are very helpful and great at making the kids feel supported and more grown up. The food always smells great and I'm often told 'Yours is not as good as pre-schools'. The activities always vary. Our general rule is, the filthier they are when they come home, the better the time they have had. Communication has always been very good. They have also been very supportive of us and have accommodated last-minute days where needed. Even when I have phoned up with as little notice as 7.30 am on the day. Where space and staffing allow, they have always helped. We will miss you all when school starts!

Just wow, as a first-time mother I never expected the childcare process to go so smoothly.
My nerves about leaving my child for a full day quickly vanished with the timely updates and great handovers.
The staff are so detail orientated and take absolutely everything in their stride. They really
care about providing an environment that compliments home structure.
I'm also so touched that all the staff in babies actively cuddle and soothe my child when needed. There are a few comments about the pricing, however, for the service received it is very much fair. At drop-off, I don't have any anxieties that my child's needs won't be met and when I collect her she is always really content.

My son attends botley hopscotch 3 days a week in the preschool main room. The girls are always working together to help support my little boy, especially with his meal times and school readiness. The food is lovely and there is a wide range of selection across the week. The team are super friendly and
welcoming and the facilities have a lot to offer, specifically the garden for its large open space and stimulating activities.

Our little boy has been at Hopscotch Botley for a year now and I cannot recommend them high enough. All the staff are friendly and helpful and my son has learnt so much from them. He comes home doing sign language which is amazing as this isn’t something we’ve had chance to do with him.

At Hopstotch Botley, you are always greeted with a friendly welcome and smile from the front desk team. They are very accommodating and understanding when you ask a question or submit a request. My son loves to go to nursery and the Baby and Waddler Team have been amazing throughout my son’s nursery
journey so far. The teams are smiley and always happy to answer any questions for you. They give you a good overview/run down of the day your child has had and provide activity observations. Within the many different activities, there's plenty of time spent outside in the garden in all weather which is great. Last year, Hopscotch even hatched some ducklings and my son had a lovely experience seeing them up close before they were sent back to live on a farm. I am very happy with Hopscotch and would totally recommend the nursery to my friends.

Our daughter has been at Hopscotch since she was 2 starting in Toddlers and recently moved to Preschool Hall. Took her a while to settle initially but all the staff have been amazing and kept us updated on how she was getting on two different apps. She loves going now and we always get a great handover

Hi, I’m Jodie and I am the manager at Hopscotch Botley. I have worked in the Early Years for 25 years, starting as an apprentice. I have worked in various settings over the years and have spent 7 years working in a school supporting SEN children.


I am delighted to be part of the Hopscotch team and look forward to working with my deputy Olivia Doyle.
We aim to provide all our children with a rich learning environment, where each child is able to explore and flourish supported by highly-skilled, passionate practitioners.

Hi I'm Kirsty, I'm the deputy manager here at Hopscotch Botley. I have been with the company since 2012 and I have experienced many different roles throughout my childcare career, including working my way up from bank staff to the waddler room leader, before moving onto my role here at nursery as Deputy Manager. I have two children so I understand how important early years care is. They have both attended the Titchfield setting as I know Hopscotch is the best care for them. I am excited to bring my ideas and knowledge into the role and am passionate about building links within the local community.
