Hopscotch Day Nursery Eastleigh

My daughter has been going to Hoptscotch since she was in baby's room. The nursery has added so much value in her development. The indoor and outdooor setup is great. The lighting and overall facilities are well thought. Onsite parking offer easy pick ups annd drop offs. Staff is excellent and very supportive in developing kids. App provides all daily / weekly updates.

I am happy with overall performance of the nursery! Whenever there is a concern I convey it and it is always addressed.The staff and management is very cooperative and friendly. However, there should be more efforts to improve cleanliness!

Every time we walk in the door at Eastleigh Hopscotch, we're greeted by friendly, positive staff. My daughter has been in 3 of the 4 rooms (having transitioned to the third room very recently) and each room has given her the space to learn a grow so much! The team are caring, nurturing and supportive, and independence is valued for the children. I'll be sending my second here when she arrives!

My daughter has been with hopscotch Eastleigh since she was 10 months old and they have been so kind and supportive. From settling her in babies to being in toddlers she has made meaningful connections with staff members in each room. She knows she always has someone to comfort her and I feel at ease leaving her in there capable hand. They have always made me feel at home and supported her interests and given her lots of new and exciting opportunities to learn. At first I was worried about their lack of nature in their outdoor space as they are in a town however they more than make up for it with walks, access to real plants inside and fantastic nature based activities. Food is always fresh and low in sugar and the rooms always look clean and well resourced. Overall I couldn't ask for a better nursery experience

Our toddler has been at Hopscotch Eastleigh for just over 12 months and is thriving. The staff are so lovely, always happy to help and the extra events around Christmas/Mother's Day are a wonderful touch.

We've loved our experience with Hopscotch so far - all of the staff in our son's room are friendly and polite and clearly care for the children there. The support staff are always really friendly too and there is a great relaxed vibe in the building. The space is great with a nice garden and they seem to have lots of different activities going for the children.

Our son was 9 months old when he started at Hopscotch, and the team in the baby room made the transition so much easier for both him and us. Everyone has been incredibly warm, welcoming, and caring from the very beginning. We truly appreciate all the support, attention, and kindness they have shown him.

We recently moved our daughter Harriet to Hopscotch Nursery after attending a different setting, and we are absolutely overjoyed with the difference it has made in her life. She is so happy and comes home every day in such a wonderful mood. We have noticed a huge positive change in her since joining.

Harriet truly loves coming to nursery and has thoroughly enjoyed all of the extra activities the nursery has included her in. The communication from the staff is absolutely outstanding, and they have genuinely taken the time to get to know our daughter so well.

Their attention to detail is phenomenal, and they have gone above and beyond to meet her individual needs. We couldn't be happier with the care, support, and nurturing environment Hopscotch provides. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff for making such a positive impact on Harriet's life!

Our twins started Hopscotch in December 2024, and were about 10 months old. They have had such a lovely time through babies, waddlers and now in toddlers. The care for them has been lovely and I know that when I'm at work they are safe and well looked after. They have been supportive with every milestone and encouraging the girls to develop. The girls seem to like the food provided and will try new things. The only annoying thing is the front door is not that friendly when you have a double buggy. Other than that I would recommend it for other families x

We have been using the nursery for nearly three years and it's a lovely friendly place that our child enjoys attending. It's a nice central location which allows for trips out to the park and the library and other small excursions, and the garden spaces are well appreciated. Staff are supportive and knowledgeable.

My daughter attends this nursery, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. She is naturally shy and a bit sensitive, and English is not her first language, so we were initially worried about how she would adapt.

However, from the very beginning, she has never had any problems settling in. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and supportive, which has helped her feel safe and confident. She goes to nursery every day with enthusiasm and a smile, which means so much to us as parents.

We are truly grateful for the care and attention she receives, and we can clearly see how happy and comfortable she feels there.

We moved to Eastleigh and moved our daughter to Hopscotch into the Toddler room. She's been there a couple of months now and we've had a great experience so far. The settle sessions were informative and well structured, the staff are really lovely and got to know our daughter and her preferences/personality quickly.

Our daughter is excited to go to nursery each day she is in and is always happy when we pick her up. She knows the staff member's names now and seems happy and comfortable. We get a good sum up of what she's done each day and there is a good variety of indoor activities and outdoors play. They've got a good safeguarding policy as well, we feel safe leaving her. Really good experience overall.

We picked Hopscotch in Eastleigh for our daughter back in February 2025, she started when she was 4 months old.

We are so happy with our choice. The staff are brilliant and super friendly and our daughter loves it. She never goes in upset and is always exhausted due to the wide range of activities they offer the children.

The in house cook is amazing too and the menu is brilliant. As parents we would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our baby joined last year, the scary whole process of transitioning back to work was made so much easier, knowing that our child was safe, loved going to and loving his time at nursery. The staff are amazing, caring and will go above and beyond. I love that I am informed every month, on where he is in terms of his EYFS journey. It helps us understand what we need to be doing at home to support our child as best we can. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. I can't comment on value for money because I don't know what other nurseries are offering/ charging- I chose this nursery because it was the place I felt best suited what I expected and wanted from a nursery.

Our daughter has been at Hopscotch for slightly under two years and she loves it there. She has been in the Babies, Waddlers and Toddlers rooms in this time and both she and we (as parents) built up great personal relationships with staff, particularly her key workers.

She is greeted with enthusiasm every day which helps her to overcome any shyness quickly. She learned to count early on by using blocks with nursery, and her language really progressed. She comes home singing nursery rhymes, knowing all the words, and has memorised several books that we don't even own at home. I have no doubt that she has learned more being at Hopscotch than if it had just been us at home.

They take safeguarding seriously and I'm happy with the measures they have with e.g. access to the nursery. I am able to go into the room to see her in the environment, and pick-ups and drop-offs are efficient with a handover each day. They have plenty of time in the garden and she enjoys the food too!

Both of my children attend hopscotch day nursery in Eastleigh and they both LOVE it! All of the staff are fantastic and my girls are so happy to spend their mornings there. My youngest walks in with arms outstretched to her key people in the baby room. And my oldest has come on leaps and bounds and is thriving with the toddler team having been with hopscotch for the last 16 months. Highly recommend

And in the winter, bugs seemed to spread like wildfire which I feel is a hygiene problem. The nursery is not very clean in my opinion, or could certainly be cleaner.
