We are so happy with this nursery. We couldn't ask for nicer staff who we really feel genuinely care for our child and want the best for her. From day one, we have felt so welcomed and there is always someone to help with anything and answer our questions. It's like we are part of a family. Since starting
this nursery, our little one has really flourished and thrived, developing in all areas amazingly well. That is thanks the dedicated staff.

My son absolutely loves nursery, he has come on leaps and bounds. He has been going for taster sessions to move into the toddler room, which he loves.
The staff are so welcoming and accommodating from the first good morning, saying goodbye at the end of the day.
My son has loved the taster sessions
so much he's not wanted to go back into the baby room so the girls have let him stay in the toddler room and he's enjoyed it so much. (He was due to move in March). I can't speak highly of the nursery enough. This is my first child and you can sometimes hear things on the news about nurseries but I have never had any worries and I know my child is in a safe and happy place!

Everyone at Stepping Stones is just wonderful. All the staff go above and beyond ensuring we know our child is being well looked after, educated, and has lots of fun! Our son loves going to nursery in the morning and is certainly fed well (the food smells amazing!).

We are very happy with Stepping Stone Day Nursery Worsley. My son is settling very well and enjoys going there. The team and teachers are very kind and supportive. Their happy faces make my son even happier every day.


My daughter has also been with them since 2021, and we have always had a great experience.

Going back to work has been a lot easier knowing that my little boy loves attending nursery so much. They always plan just fun things to do and he is a big fan of all the food he gets. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make sure he has an amazing day everyday.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to enrol my son at Stepping Stones Worsley. From day one, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic.


The team are truly exceptional - warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's so lovely how they know every single child by name,

even those who aren't in their group yet!


Since joining, my son has grown so much - both socially and developmentally. I often get comments on how confident, and vocal he is, and I know that's a reflection of the nurturing environment and amazing care he receives every day at nursery.
Thank you to the entire Stepping Stones Worsley team. You go above and beyond, and it truly shows. You're making a real difference!

Both my son and daughter have attended the nursery and I have been happy with the level of care provided, the staff that really care about the children. My daughter is due to leave soon and I will be sad when she does.
Whilst she has been there the outdoor space has recently been upgraded and is really
good for all the children to use. They are regularly outside and all seem to love this space.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Where has the time gone!! My little girl soon starts big school.
I honestly can not thank the team at Rothwell enough for all they have done.
My child has come on leaps and bounds since she started back in July 2021 and just 8 months old.
It's great to see her develop in all learning aspects and
my child clearly enjoys it at nursery, she is always telling us of what she has been up to and what she had been doing with her friends.
My child confidence has grown so much and I feel the team have made her ready to tackle big school.
I know when she leaves she will miss all the team and her friends, but hopefully some of them move to the same school.
Thank you stepping stone for helping turn my little baby into a very young girl.

We're so happy with Stepping Stones Nursery! He has settled in incredibly well, especially after a difficult experience with a previous childminder where he just didn't settle. The staff are warm, welcoming and clearly care about the children. He has access to a wide range of fun, stimulating activities
and comes home smiling every day. One thing we really love is that there are no TVs - everything is hands-on and encourages real play and learning. The food is also fantastic - fresh, healthy and always a hit with him. We couldn't be more pleased!

Stepping Stone Day Nursery Rothwell is an excellent nursery. My little girl started here in September 2024, she has since learnt and grown so much in just 6 months. I feel they provide the right balance between fun and education. My little girl loves engaging in creative activities and the outdoor facility
area. My partner and I, appreciate how comfortable the staff has made our little girl from the very beginning. They are very helpful, caring and professional. Their regular updates are most helpful.
The positive impact on our little girl has been impressive, and as a family, we couldn't be more happier. If you're a parent looking for a supportive, safe and warm welcoming environment for your little one, we definitely recommend the Stepping Stone Rothwell.

My little boy has recently started at Stepping Stones in the baby room. Throughout the process of settling in and his first sessions we have felt very supported by the staff, no question is too small for them. They have taken the time to get to know my son and although he hasn't been there long he enjoys

My Son has only been with the setting for 3 weeks but WOW what a positive change we see in him and the nursery has played a huge part in that already.
We left a recent setting as my son stuggle to settle after been there 9mths and the transition has been night and day.
The staff are so kind, friendly
and really do create a caring, safe space and acknowledge every childs needs, not just a one size fits all approach.
Everyday is different for the kiddies with lots of outdoor play, crafts, exploring and plenty of art work sent home! Food has so many varieties. Commication was very important for us which we can not fault!
Wish we had moved sooner! Thank you to all the team :)

My twin boys moved to this nursery over a year ago. They were developmentally delayed and struggled to communicate verbally. Within months of starting at stepping stones they were able to speak small words and have only come on leaps and bounds since then. They are no longer delayed and fit in with
every other 3 year old in their group. All of this is thanks to the time, love and care that all of the staff have taken to ensure that they thrive. All of the staff have a love and passion for looking after each individual child and that really shows day to day. I can't thank them enough for how easy they've made it to leave my boys in their care.

My Son goes to Stepping Stones currently and all my children have also gone through nursery there through to pre-school (2 girls and 1 boy). We have loved every step of our journey with the manager and the team and we'll be very sad in the future when we won't be going through the nursery doors. My
son currently is in pre-school and he loves it. He's been slightly delayed with his speech development but management and the team have gone above and beyond to keep us informed and help us to work with them at home to help my son flourish. He's come on leaps and bounds and he happily walks into pre-school. Every-time we pick him up the smile on his face is from ear to ear. Stepping Stones Worsley is not just a nursery, the manager has continued to make it feel like you are part of a big family and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the area. A real asset to Boothstown.

This nursery setting is absolutely fantastic. Both of my daughters have received fantastic care whilst attending here over the past few years. Staff are caring and friendly - this goes for every member of staff I have ever spoken with and about any query I've had. My daughters love playing both inside
and out, and they learn so much whilst here, I highly recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery at Lingley Mere.

I'm SO glad I enrolled my daughter into Stepping Stones Worsley; I don't have a bad word to say.
The staff are all absolutely wonderful and I love how they all know every child's name, even if they aren't in their class yet! (Some even remember my name which is above and beyond!).
My daughter has
come on leaps and bounds since starting at Stepping Stones and I always get compliments on her behaviour, development and social skills (I wish I could take full credit myself, but that would be discrediting the incredible work everyone at nursery does!).
My daughter is quite hit and miss with food (as in quantities that she will eat, she generally eats all foods), but she loves the chefs freshly made food; and with a 5* hygiene rating, what could be better?!
I could go on and on with everything I love, but I'm running out of characters.
So I will end by saying thank you to each and every member of staff. Your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed. You're all amazing!

My little girl has recently joined stepping stones and absolutely loves it! She comes home telling me about her friends and the staff and what they got up to during the day. The kids get up to different things each day relevant to what's going on (Pancake Day, Chinese new years, valentines day) which
I thinks fab. I would definitely recommend stepping stones:)

My little boy started at this nursery on 10/02/2025 and they have been nothing but helpful! Nothing is ever too much for them and the care and dedication they have to helping my little boy settle in is fantastic. They are thorough, kind and the staff here are also impeccable to catering to children's
needs. They have helped my son settle in really well as he is an emotional child but they know exactly what to do to make him feel like it is a home from home environment. I feel at ease knowing he is at a nursery that deliver such high standard of care towards children, i could not recommend Stepping Stones Nursery enough.
