Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Mirfield

Really happy with Stepping Stones Mirfield. The staff are so friendly & easy to talk to - they really make you feel welcome and supported. The food is good & the whole place is spotless. They spend loads of time outdoors & have frequent trips to the park & library.

Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Mirfield is a lovely nursery. My little boy has been going 2 to 3 days a week for nearly 3 years. He started in the baby room, then the toddler room and now in the preschool room. He enjoys the daily activities, the playground, going on short walks outside nursery and going to the field and park. He loves the food too. Lovely staff and good at promoting independence.

My daughter has been at Stepping Stones for about 18 months. She attends full-time, 5 days a week long days and she absolutely loves being there. Every day she gets excited about going in and every day she is doing different things and it amazes me the things she's learning all the time. The staff are fun and vibrant and super caring.

My little one is a very fussy eater. The nursery helped by allowing us to help prepare our own food, snacks and baking. Didn't like leaving mummy and daddy but the nursery has helped so much with this and now can't wait to get into the nursery to see staff and friends.

I have always had positive interactions with staff and feel comfortable leaving my child in their care knowing they will do the best for her.

I cannot fault this nursery! Right from the baby room to preschool my little boy has loved it. The staff, the setting, the outside area and more recently for us the preschool learning opportunities are exceptional as school fast approaches we will definitely miss attending Stepping Stones!

My son is in the Toddler Room. I am happy he has settled in the room. Staff are very caring and give me a good detailed handover. I also get to see pictures of him on the app of what activities he has been doing. I am happy that he has made a lovely bond with all staff at the nursery. He enjoys the lovely meals that are prepared freshly on a daily basis by the cook. I don't have to worry about anything as he is a happy little boy at nursery which shows that staff are doing a wonderful job. Thank you.

My little boy is in the toddler room and has been since last year. He absolutely loves the staff and even asks to go to the nursery at the weekend.

We are really happy with the care our children receive. Transitions into the next room up have been done really smoothly and the range of activities offered to the children is fantastic. The children are always happy to go and talk about staff fondly - we are really pleased with how settled they are.

Great staff who make my daughter's really happy. It's nice to know she goes somewhere safe and happy.

Stepping Stones is a lovely nursery. My son started here at the age of one and the staff have been so caring, friendly and supportive of both me and my son. I am amazed at all the fun activities and creative projects/games etc. the children get involved in. I feel like the nursery have played a vital role in his development. I would recommend to anyone looking for a happy, caring and safe space for their little ones. I always feel reassured that he is in safe hands and they are in tune with his needs. I feel my child is safe at nursery and I am confident she is getting amazing care.

My child has settled really nicely into nursery, he loves his key person and speaks about her at home as well as nursery, his communication has improved and interaction with other children. He is making progress and always comes home happy.

I love how much my child has progressed since joining this nursery and learning new stuff all the time. He loves one staff member in particular, he calls her his best friend! The staff are always helpful and caring. I've never had an issue. I was very worried when he started as I hated leaving him sad, but he settled in very quickly and the staff always reassured me and kept me up to date with his day.

My boy came to the nursery over one year ago. When he started he could hardly speak. I can see how he's developed day by day and it's just amazing every time I see something new he never did before.

I am very happy with the overall care my child has received since starting at Stepping Stones. Nothing is too much trouble and I am very comfortable with leaving my child with the amazing staff!

My child has been in preschool now for five months and is thriving in his environment and loves coming to nursery and he loves the staff members.

My son has attended since March 2023 and is very happy. Staff are very kind and he has lots of fun. Nursery is clean and tidy.

My son (sixteen months) started five months ago and has taken to the nursery instantly. One member of staff in the baby room is one of his favourite people and she has really made sure that he has settled into a good routine there. On the whole, my children love the nursery. They are always doing new and exciting activities and I get a good update for both on how their day has been when I collect them.

I cannot sing the praises of the staff at Stepping Stones Nursery Mirfield enough. All are incredibly friendly and welcoming and provide superb care for my children. The detail given at the end of each day is fantastic and both children really enjoy going. It’s a pleasure to hear about their day. I have seen so much development in them both since they started at the nursery and this is all down to the staff. The range of food on offer is great, as are the activities and outdoor areas.
