Our little one has just loved Norfolk House Nursery. The activies are varied and interesting, which keep him engaged and developing fast. The environment is lovely, with great outdoor space, soft play and light airy spacious base rooms. The staff are absolutely wonderful, always happy and enthusiastic,
I feel reassured that my child is cared for well, with great role models guiding the way. There are plenty of stay-and-play opportunities for parents to spend time in the base rooms with the kids and the nursery nurses who care for them. I'm very happy with our choice and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A wonderful nursery with kind, caring, and thoughtful staff. They work hard to ensure our son is engaged in a wide range of activities, including getting outside every day. The management and wider team at Norfolk House Nursery feel like an extension of our family. The care they extend to my 2 year old son is excellent and I can tell he feels very safe, secure and happy with them. The facilities are very clean and bright, with a variety of settings both inside and out
that meet the children's needs for play and stimulation. The nursery have also been exceptionally supportive and sensitive whilst our family has navigated a tough period. They have balanced professionalism with a very gentle and personal touch. I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my son's formative years and would recommend NHN in a heartbeat.

Norfolk House in Moseley is absolutely outstanding. We feel like the staff in the toddler room really care about our little one, and they are constantly doing exciting and creative things with him, and tailoring his days to what he is feeling and needs that day. The menus are great, and the space is
wonderful - particularly the outside area. The managers are incredible too - really responsive and flexible, and they love the little ones very much. Could not recommend it more!

Since my three-year-old son started at the nursery he has been so happy to go. The staff are magnificent, the place is so welcoming and the activities they do are so thoughtful. The settling-in went very well. They also arrange lots of social activities for parents to join in, which is great!

My daughter started nursery in September 2022 and she absolutely loves it. She went from being 'anxious about leaving mummy' to walking through the door herself when dropped off. It was so lovely seeing how all the staff cared for her and ensured she felt comfortable with her surroundings by finding
out what she likes and what she responds to. I have seen her thrive during her time at Norfolk Oxford road, and my husband and I are always impressed by how creative they are with their activities! They always try and involve the parents as much as possible and always ensure that we are kept in the loop of what our child has been up to.

My children in preschool are always welcomed with warmth and kindness. The variety of activities that Norfolk House offers is second to none from nativity plays, parents coming in teaching the kids about their interests, or organising for emergency vehicles to turn up.

My daughter has been attending Norfolk House Oxford Road for a while now and she absolutely loves it. We are always greeted with a smile at the door, the teachers are very thorough at the beginning and end of the day regarding my daughter and her progress from the day.
These days when I pick her up
she doesn't want to leave with mummy but would rather stay and play. Thank you for a personal relationship, it's always very mind easing for a parent to know their child is looked after, especially in an environment different from home.

Excellent nursery every single person is so positive and kind! It makes a huge difference when dropping your child off. My son just started nursery in December and knowing he has such wonderful people looking after him makes you feel much more relaxed as a parent. The staff at the nursery are fantastic.
They are so kind and caring, always smiley and friendly and brilliant with the children. The range of activities they do with the children is very impressive and I'm so happy with how my son has settled in and is developing. My son is really enjoying it there. Highly recommended.

The nursery is well appointed and equipped in all aspects with a wide range of activities to keep the children engaged both in their rooms and the garden play area. It means so much to us as parents that our daughter happily enters the nursery each morning and seems just as happy at the end of the day.
It is a testament to the great work done by the team at Norfolk House that I can't recall seeing an unhappy child there. In fact, the staff too seem, without exception, to thoroughly enjoy their work. The children have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic array of activities be it rhythm time or baby tennis, visits from The Animal Man and the like are common as are well-organised excursions. The nursery also offers many opportunities for parent interaction and communication from the nursery is excellent.
Great credit is due to the manager and her team for so quickly establishing such a fantastic culture. We are very thankful.

Both of our children have been at Oxford Road since it first opened and our experience has been faultless.
The staff are so kind and caring it quickly took away any anxiety we had in sending our children to nursery for the first time.
Our youngest recently transitioned from the babies' room to
the toddler room and this process was well thought out and managed.
Activities are varied and fun plus bringing in people from outside the nursery to do toddler tennis or forest school (for example) really gives the children a wide-ranging experience.
The management of the nursery is both professional and accommodating, which is a culture that is shared across all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely care about the children's wellbeing. We really can't speak highly enough of them.

All staff are always caring and supportive the nursery is excellent.
The manager is always available there is an open door policy and concerns or problems can be discussed the staff team always try to implement this.
Staff and management are always supportive and discuss on a daily basis of activities
and any changes which have taken place. I would recommend this nursery to others it is a safe environment.

Finding a nursery that fits is a hard and daunting task for most parents. Personally took me well over a year to find a nursery, that I felt genuinely comfortable enough to enrol my children into but with Norfolk House, after my first visit, I instantly sighed a sign of relief. My children have been
enrolled for several months now and they have developed both socially and educationally. The staff are all amazing and the service they provide is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has attended Norfolk House since June and has blossomed under their care. The staff are exceptional - the team in Babies 2 room ensured my daughter settled in well, quickly finding out her interests to help her feel happy and secure. My daughter was also slowly transitioned to Toddlers room
over a number of weeks which, again, really helped her to settle into the new area with confidence. The food options are well balanced; the activities and resources are varied and stimulating, communication is prompt and feedback from parents is actively encouraged. The management team really seem to value and take pride in all staff members - I love this! My daughter runs into nursery smiling every day without looking back - this is down to the wonderful staff making the nursery feel like a second home. Thank you, Norfolk House!

Our eighteen-month-old daughter has been at Norfolk House Oxford Road for five months. She was initially nervous and was worried about being left anywhere without one of her parents nearby, but after a few sessions at Norfolk House, she's become very settled. She is happy to be dropped off and the staff
have really helped by ensuring her favourite book or breakfast is there to comfort her on arrival.
The communication from the Nursery is great, we get regular updates on events for the month (e.g. trips to farms, visits from local fire service). The staff clearly communicate how she's eaten, slept etc and any other concerns and there is a clear system/process in place for this even on the odd occasion where the usual staff are not present at the time of handover. This helps align home life with the nursery. The nursery has helped develop my daughter's social skills and communication. The nursery also provides access to a healthcare specialist and nutritionist which is an added bonus.

I am Hayley Fox, the Senior Nursery Manager. I oversee all three of our nurseries, sharing my time between them and working closely with the Nursery Managers who are responsible for their day-to-day operation. We have found that this arrangement further enhances the level of service we are able to provide and keeps us at the very forefront of Early Years education.


I have worked in Early Years education for 22 years. I started work at our Norfolk Road setting in April 2009, some five months before it opened its doors. I have therefore been able to recruit staff, plan and implement policies, and develop best practice in all areas from the Nursery’s very inception. My own daughter attended the Nursery and progressed through every age group, which has enabled me to view it from a parent’s perspective.

I started working at Norfolk House Nursery, Norfolk Road in 2012 as a Modern Apprentice. Between 2012 and 2016, I worked my way through positions from Senior, Room Leader, Deputy and then Manager. Since 2016, I have enjoyed every second of working as the Nursery Manager to implement the highest standards of care and education. Not only that, but it has been an absolute pleasure to build up such great partnerships with the hundreds of families I have had the pleasure to meet.
