Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

Our little one started at Norfolk House Nursery at 10 months old. We felt like all members of staff went out of their way to welcome not only our daughter, but us into the community, which we were extremely grateful for. It is clear our daughter loves being at the nursery; the staff ensure the daily activities are varied and specific to certain skills/interests the children are developing. There are a number of instances where the nursery has gone above and beyond our expectations - the various parties they host throughout the year to celebrate key events, which parents are invited to, being just one of them. It really is a lovely way to spend time with your child in the nursery environment and get a glimpse into how well they are looked after. We are extremely happy with our choice of Norfolk House Nursery for our child.

I am so proud that my son goes to such a wonderful nursery. He always comes out of the nursery with a big smile, and after a long day at work, it means everything. It’s lovely to see not only the children happy and engaged with the amazing activities every day, but the staff always have smiles on their faces. A true testament to the managers that they not only look after the children but the staff too.

We are delighted with this nursery for our son. The staff all seem very caring/nurturing and have taken the time to understand our son on an individual level (including his likes and dislikes). Our son enjoys his time at nursery with his peers and staff members. The management team are all very friendly and approachable and have listened/responded to any feedback we have provided.

The staff have always excelled in their communication and commitment to my son’s well-being. We work together, as a team, to identify any development points and work together to address them. Furthermore, my son has recently transitioned rooms (due to age group) which can be quite a stressful time for children but the handover at both ends was fantastic. Thank you.

The staff are so welcoming, it’s like being part of a big family. Couldn’t ask for any more.

My daughter loves going to nursery so much, it’s often difficult to get her to leave. The staff take the time and care to get to know the children individually and to nurture their interests. They love seeing updates of what’s been going on at home and are adaptable when using this to enhance the nursery day - for example, my 2-year-old loves to “help” chop fruit and vegetables at home with her little toddler knives, I shared this with the team and the next week they took a group of them on a trip to the supermarket to buy fruit and made a fruit salad. The management is incredibly responsive and actively resolves any queries or worries (no matter how small). I have never felt any mum-guilt leaving my daughter here as I know she is having such a lovely time and being so well cared for. She attends full-time so it was really important for us to find somewhere which has a warm, family atmosphere that is also very switched-on to her development needs - Norfolk House Nursery, Moseley, does both of these perfectly.

This is such a fabulous and friendly environment. So much learning happening in such creative ways. My daughter absolutely loves coming which makes it so much easier as her parents. I love the involvement of the family with all the extra events. Highly recommend.

Overall, our child has settled well and the pictures tell what a fun time he has there!

Our little one has just loved Norfolk House Nursery. The activies are varied and interesting, which keep him engaged and developing fast. The environment is lovely, with great outdoor space, soft play and light airy spacious base rooms. The staff are absolutely wonderful, always happy and enthusiastic, I feel reassured that my child is cared for well, with great role models guiding the way. There are plenty of stay-and-play opportunities for parents to spend time in the base rooms with the kids and the nursery nurses who care for them. I'm very happy with our choice and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A wonderful nursery with kind, caring, and thoughtful staff. They work hard to ensure our son is engaged in a wide range of activities, including getting outside every day. They also put on brilliant events for the whole family where the Norfolk House team go the extra mile. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

The management and wider team at Norfolk House Nursery feel like an extension of our family. The care they extend to my 2 year old son is excellent and I can tell he feels very safe, secure and happy with them. The facilities are very clean and bright, with a variety of settings both inside and out that meet the children's needs for play and stimulation. The nursery have also been exceptionally supportive and sensitive whilst our family has navigated a tough period. They have balanced professionalism with a very gentle and personal touch. I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my son's formative years and would recommend NHN in a heartbeat.

Norfolk House in Moseley is absolutely outstanding. We feel like the staff in the toddler room really care about our little one, and they are constantly doing exciting and creative things with him, and tailoring his days to what he is feeling and needs that day. The menus are great, and the space is wonderful - particularly the outside area. The managers are incredible too - really responsive and flexible, and they love the little ones very much. Could not recommend it more!

The staff are amazing. Especially in babies one. Our child is happy and you can really see the difference they’re making. She’s hitting all her milestones early because of all the hard work nursery is doing to support her.

Norfolk House Nursery is an exceptional place both in terms of experiences for children and love and care. My son has loved preschool and I have seen him develop so much over the time he has been there. The staff are wonderful and you couldn’t ask for a better establishment to take care of your little ones.

It's fantastic that my son joined Norfolk House, couldn’t be happier with the level of care and work that goes into this nursery. Never short of a smiling face, showing the staff get looked after as much as the children. Looking forward to seeing my son grow and develop there.

Our daughter has just started here and it is just fantastic! Can't recommend enough. The onboarding and level of activities for an under one are fantastic! Looking forward to her doing lots of exciting things. Everyone is so friendly.

Since my three-year-old son started at the nursery he has been so happy to go. The staff are magnificent, the place is so welcoming and the activities they do are so thoughtful. The settling-in went very well. They also arrange lots of social activities for parents to join in, which is great!

My daughter started nursery in September 2022 and she absolutely loves it. She went from being 'anxious about leaving mummy' to walking through the door herself when dropped off. It was so lovely seeing how all the staff cared for her and ensured she felt comfortable with her surroundings by finding out what she likes and what she responds to. I have seen her thrive during her time at Norfolk Oxford road, and my husband and I are always impressed by how creative they are with their activities! They always try and involve the parents as much as possible and always ensure that we are kept in the loop of what our child has been up to.

My children absolutely love coming to Norfolk House.
