Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

It’s been lovely when I collect them seeing how happy they are and I get good feedback about their day.

Excellent managers, very organised. Nice extras such as being able to borrow a book and also getting monthly ‘homework’ to link up with what they are doing. Plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Mornings are a joy as my daughter happily skips into nursery. She has made great friends with both the other children and the staff. She’s a very busy child but is always kept entertained with all the fun activities, as well as being supported in her much loved free play. The best way to learn!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Norfolk House so far. The staff are wonderful and really care about making a safe and positive environment for the children. The activities are educational and varied and our daughter loves telling us what she's been up to each day. Any time we have had any issue the management team have been extremely responsive, listened to us and taken action when needed. I would recommend the nursery to any family.

Excellent nursery. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Always clean and tidy. Incredible staff who genuinely care and invest in the children’s development. They put a huge amount of effort into sensory play, creative crafts and getting the kids outside, ensuring a well-rounded day. They serve great food options providing the kids with a well-balanced and nutritious diet. Management staff are super approachable and feedback always welcome and acted upon.

The children have socialised well and are forward in speech, personal confidence and dexterity.

My child has been attending Norfolk House Oxford Road. The staff have been very welcoming, reassuring and accommodating. I have been made to feel at ease and confident they are taking care of my child. They follow Early Years Foundation Stage which I get regular updates about. My child enjoys his day and comes home with a smile.

This nursery has been excellent, from the first day we visited when it was newly built to the current day the service has been excellent. All staff are brilliant and provide regular updates on child performance and activities undertaken during the day. Communication is great either via email, the app or on-site. Our son has been at Norfolk House for almost exactly a year now and we couldn't be happier with how supportive they are of our son and his development - first on Babies 1 and now in Babies 2. All the basics are of course covered and to an excellent standard (cleanliness, communication to parents, safety, food). The staff are incredibly friendly, good with the kids, professional and well trained and give good feedback to us. The activities arranged for our son and the others are well thought out and executed and often relate to his interests. They clearly care for the kids in their care. There is also great outdoor space and a great range of 'stay and plays' organised. Attending Norfolk House has definitely been beneficial to our son and we are very happy with our choice to send him there.

Really good. The staff are very friendly and professional. My child is very happy here. She is well looked after and she loves it. The team are easy to get on with and always welcomes feedback and questions.

The staff at Norfolk House (Oxford Rd) are incredibly attentive and caring. They have a genuine love for children and always go above and beyond to ensure our daughter and son are taken care of. Overall the nursery is a true haven. It is a place where they will grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and loving environment. Keep up the good work.

The effort that the staff goes to make every day is exceptional, from the activities to trips to events, down to the care and attention my boys receive on a daily basis. At all levels, staff are allowed to be creative and reactive to the children’s needs and interests and you see this daily in the fun they get up to! Every member of staff from the management to room teams to housekeepers are 100% child-focused and their main goal is always giving the children the best experience. Parent communication is amazing and parent/cater engagement is great and actively encouraged. My sons have learnt so much with all the extracurricular provisions and being taken on regular trips out into the community which is a huge commitment by the team. Every month there are stay and plays, room/nursery events, trips and more amazing enrichment. I couldn’t be more delighted, Norfolk house is an exceptional nursery and one I am so pleased that my children get to experience.

Challenging to put into words just how incredible Oxford Road Nursery is! When our son was four months old, we toured Oxford and were immediately swept up in the family-like, friendly, professional, safe environment. The tour was honest (didn’t feel false/over-polished), and the only reason we didn’t say yes straight away was because it honestly felt too good to be true! Our son has been attending now for 6.5 months, and we can vouch that they exceed our expectations daily! Nothing feels too big an ask. From my son’s key leader to all the staff in the room and up through management, they all contribute to a wonderfully warm environment that makes it a bit easier to return back to work worry-free. They are thoughtful with remembering dates about us/our family, detailed handovers etc, pics and always go out of their way with creative/inclusive activities! Parents are included in so much! Our son is happy/developing amazingly. Cries only when it’s time to go home - ha! Recommended to all mum friends!

Our daughter has nearly completed a full year at this nursery and she absolutely loves it. You can tell how much she enjoys being there and we are delighted we chose Norfolk House. The staff are always friendly and helpful, it is always clean and tidy, the facilities are fantastic and we can really see how our daughter is growing and learning during her time there. I would highly recommend Norfolk House to anyone.

Norfolk House is a fantastic nursery, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Our little boy joined Toddlers at 2 and a half and it took him quite a while to settle in. Despite this the nursery staff were so caring and reassuring (to us and him) that I knew he was in very capable hands from the start. The nursery environment is incredibly welcoming and relaxed and it didn’t take us long to feel at home. Our little boy is now a thriving pre-schooler and has got so much out of his nursery experience. We’re hoping to get a place for his newborn baby brother and will be thrilled to send him to Norfolk House too.

My daughter started here in January 2024 at 9 months old. I was naturally nervous but I had nothing to worry about. The staff are second to none! So kind and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are fantastic. Lots of outdoor space as well as a wide range of indoor spaces such as the soft play area. She has come on so much in her short time here and I can’t wait to see how she continues to develop. Meals are all prepared onsite as well and follow a nutritionist lead program. Feels like a home away from home. Her days are always packed full with lots of wonderful learning activities. Would 100% recommend!

I can’t rate Norfolk House Nursery (Moseley) highly enough. They are brilliant because the staff love and care for the children - they are genuinely happy to see them and engage with them so enthusiastically. They have clean and new toys and facilities that are perfect for the child’s age and development. My little one is in babies 2 and he has access to a fantastic and safe outdoor play area and nature area - every day! He also gets to play in a softplay room on top of his own babies 2 room which has everything he could want. The regular external visitors, special activities and trips for children give the children variety and the regular communication and updates keep us informed and confident our little one is having a great time. As a parent, I know the safety and security of my child is paramount and that he is going to have a fulfilling day playing with all his friends. On top of this, the food selection is great! Would highly recommend it!

From the moment our daughter walked through the doors of Norfolk Nursery we knew we had found a special place. Our daughter started here when she was just 18 months old. From the very beginning, the staff have been nothing short of amazing. They create an environment that feels like home, where our daughter feels safe, nurtured, and encouraged to explore her world. Moreover, communication with the nursery staff has been excellent. They keep us informed about our daughter's progress.
