Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

From a parent's perspective, the staff have been great at taking the time to answer my questions and provide any paperwork/information. They also included me in parent emails so that I got a sense of the schedule and any extra events that are taking place prior to her starting. I am so impressed with the level of communication and the range of activities that she will be taking part in. All the other parents that I've met really rate/recommend Norfolk House and so far it's easy to see why!

We are extremely pleased with the care that our daughter receives from Norfolk House Nursery. She loves all of the different activities that are offered and comes home with all sorts of exciting stories about her days. As her parents, we are comforted by the fact that each member of the staff seems to really know and care for our daughter.

Our daughter has been at Norfolk House since it opened and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Handing your child over to someone other than family or a friend is a very daunting prospect, but the team at Oxford road have been outstanding from the outset. All the members of staff seem genuinely happy to work there. The nursery has fantastic, welcoming rooms with stimulating activities each day, including trips out to the local parks and other child-friendly destinations. Now seven months on since starting our daughter smiles whenever we say the word nursery or say the names of her key worker and other members of staff she has become close to. The parent-to-staff relationship is very strong and we feel very included in helping to develop the nursery. Thank you so much to all the staff at Oxford Road, you are amazing.

My daughter has attended Norfolk House Nursery since September. She has settled in so well. The staff are amazing and the facilities are fantastic. With the help of the staff support system, we have managed to overcome many barriers. Everyone has been kind, welcoming and supportive. We are given daily communication reports of activities etc. which have been reassuring. I would highly recommend this nursery to all children with all abilities, the facilities cater for different needs and the activities that take place are excellent. Thank you Norfolk House Nursery for everything you do!

We moved our toddler from another nursery, where she was happy and settled, due to our elder daughter starting school near to Norfolk House Nursery. We were worried about how our 2-year-old would settle but she is now so happy in the toddler room. The room leader is amazing. She sets up creative activities for the children to come into every morning. They do lots of crafts and messy play and are out in the garden daily. The nursery manager and deputy are also outstanding. They organise for external companies to come in and run lots of activities, e.g. baby ballet and toddler tennis. We know our 2-year-old is stimulated and learning all day long. She is also eating home-cooked, healthy food and has lots of cuddles from the incredibly caring, warm and lovely staff. They also prepare home learning packs, for example, we had a brilliant playdough set recently with a wildlife theme. This is a truly outstanding nursery.

We cannot fault the nursery, the facilities or the team.

My daughter has been at the nursery for four months now, and I couldn't be happier. Her transition was very well done. The team has communicated with me throughout to make me feel comfortable. My daughter loves going there and has learnt so much. I love to see the crafts she makes at the nursery. We are always kept updated with any new events by email, which is great!

As a family, we feel very much part of Norfolk House life and love being treated so warmly. Our children all love it and look forward to going.

We have had a lovely experience at the nursery. My son has settled in well and the team go above and beyond to organise activities for him and all the family. I find the facilities are superior to other nurseries and always clean. The staff have been so accommodating and caring. We are very happy with Norfolk House, Moseley.

We are really pleased with Norfolk House nursery and how they have settled in our child. We really enjoy the parent and child activities that the nursery puts on. There is really good communication with parents and the nursery has been kitted out to a high standard. However, what has most impressed us is the staff themselves and how much they really care about the children and interact with them, our child really loves going.

There are plenty of extra activities and parent and child sessions to get involved with and there is always lots of feedback and things to take home to help with your child's development. A fabulous place.

This Nursery has worked hard to ensure my baby is happy and comfortable in their setting. I am a first-time parent and was slightly nervous about my baby starting at the nursery but my anxieties quickly disappeared when she did. The staff provided an honest and smooth transition into nursery life for me and my baby. The nursery has provided many opportunities for parent partnership which gives the nursery a family-like feel. They also provide regular visits from an on-site health visitor which is very helpful for a first-time parent. The staff in the baby room are always positive, polite and always happy to help. The baby room is a very good size for the babies to crawl and walk in with lots of toys. There are plenty of tailored activities set out daily for the children and my baby is never bored!

I'd recommend this nursery to any parent. Thanks for all that you do.

We couldn't sing enough praises about Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road! We have one toddler who has attended throughout the last six months and she loves every day there. When we drop her off in the morning she gives the staff a big smile and handover is always easy, thanks to their enthusiasm and energy. The staff at Norfolk House are absolutely brilliant, constantly providing new activities and games for the kids to partake in. We also receive thorough reports every day about the children's meals, what they got up to and anything new they learned each day. It really helps you feel connected when you're missing them at work. Would thoroughly recommend to any potential parent looking for a home away from home for their kids!

Fantastic staff, knowledge and incredibly involved with (and much loved by) the kids. Lots of activities throughout the day, and always engaged. Our children love going there, and would very much recommend.

My children moved to the nursery after quite a difficult experience at another where they were very fearful of going in. The staff have been absolutely amazing, both in dealing with their allergies, in welcoming them into the setting and in making them excited to go to nursery again. We could not be happier as a family with our experience to date.

We couldn't be happier with how Norfolk House Nursery in Moseley has been for our daughter. Every day she is happy to go to nursery and the staff go above and beyond to create a stimulating and warm environment for the children to thrive. Every drop-off and pick-up there is a friendly welcome and a detailed update on their exciting day. The facilities are excellent and the activities they organise for the children are fun, educational and varied. I have seen so much development in my daughter since attending nursery and really feel like she is getting lots of attention and the space to learn and grow. It is a hard decision to choose a nursery but we are so pleased with our choice.

We have two children at Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road and both are delighted each morning as they enter. The variety of activities that they do each day is amazing! This is supported with great equipment in each room and the garden! There is plenty of space in all rooms which are well laid out and welcoming! The nursery also plans regular trips to local amenities such as the supermarket, petting zoo and soft play facility and recently had a visiting farm! The staff are all enthusiastic and caring for all children and give great feedback each evening. We are so lucky to have our children there!

My daughter has been at Norfolk House Nursery in Moseley for several months now and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The facilities are fantastic and all of the staff are outstanding, very caring and the communication is very good. Our daughter has an allergy and this has been fully respected and we have every confidence that our daughter is in safe hands. She has come on so well since joining the nursery and it is a pleasure to see. Keep up the good work!

We are delighted with this nursery. We have had to be at a few nurseries in the last 2-3 years due to job moving etc but this is second to none! The facilities are fantastic, the staff so caring, and attentive, the activities for the children are imaginative, stimulating, and educational and they genuinely care for your children. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough and have not a doubt in my mind when they get their first Ofsted rating they will agree that it is outstanding. Well done girls for creating such an amazing place!
