Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

In just a couple of words. We are very pleased with Norfolk House. As new to Norfolk, I certainly can see a high standard level of care and overall respect. I am sure my little son is in good hands. Thank you Norfolk House.

These days when I pick her up she doesn't want to leave with mummy but would rather stay and play. Thank you for a personal relationship, it's always very mind easing for a parent to know their child is looked after, especially in an environment different from home.

Excellent nursery every single person is so positive and kind! It makes a huge difference when dropping your child off. My son just started nursery in December and knowing he has such wonderful people looking after him makes you feel much more relaxed as a parent. The staff at the nursery are fantastic. They are so kind and caring, always smiley and friendly and brilliant with the children. The range of activities they do with the children is very impressive and I'm so happy with how my son has settled in and is developing. My son is really enjoying it there. Highly recommended.

Great credit is due to the manager and her team for so quickly establishing such a fantastic culture. We are very thankful.

The management of the nursery is both professional and accommodating, which is a culture that is shared across all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely care about the children's wellbeing. We really can't speak highly enough of them.

Staff and management are always supportive and discuss on a daily basis of activities and any changes which have taken place. I would recommend this nursery to others it is a safe environment.

Finding a nursery that fits is a hard and daunting task for most parents. Personally took me well over a year to find a nursery, that I felt genuinely comfortable enough to enrol my children into but with Norfolk House, after my first visit, I instantly sighed a sign of relief. My children have been enrolled for several months now and they have developed both socially and educationally. The staff are all amazing and the service they provide is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has attended Norfolk House since June and has blossomed under their care. The staff are exceptional - the team in Babies 2 room ensured my daughter settled in well, quickly finding out her interests to help her feel happy and secure. My daughter was also slowly transitioned to Toddlers room over a number of weeks which, again, really helped her to settle into the new area with confidence. The food options are well balanced; the activities and resources are varied and stimulating, communication is prompt and feedback from parents is actively encouraged. The management team really seem to value and take pride in all staff members - I love this! My daughter runs into nursery smiling every day without looking back - this is down to the wonderful staff making the nursery feel like a second home. Thank you, Norfolk House!

The communication from the Nursery is great, we get regular updates on events for the month (e.g. trips to farms, visits from local fire service). The staff clearly communicate how she's eaten, slept etc and any other concerns and there is a clear system/process in place for this even on the odd occasion where the usual staff are not present at the time of handover. This helps align home life with the nursery. The nursery has helped develop my daughter's social skills and communication. The nursery also provides access to a healthcare specialist and nutritionist which is an added bonus.

My daughter started nursery in August 2022 and I was very apprehensive about how it would be as she is very wary of people and doesn't warm to people quickly. However, within a few weeks, I was so pleasantly surprised at how confident she has become and how much she now loves coming into nursery. My daughter has completely warmed to her key worker and the other nursery nurses in her room who have been so wonderful, patient and accommodating. The team at Oxford Road from management, the rooms, kitchen etc are all so friendly, dedicated and hard-working and I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

We love all the extracurricular activities and the activities planned and organised by the girls are so much fun and loved by all the children.

We are absolutely delighted with the Norfolk House Oxford Road nursery. Our child loves attending and we are entirely happy with the care, stimulation, learning, activities, facilities and nutrition she receives. The staff are kind, caring, engaged, responsive and extremely accountable. We also love the sense of community for parents and children that the staff have built around the nursery.

We cannot speak highly enough of the excellent staff, brilliant care provided, high-quality nutrition and facilities at Norfolk House. It is great to know that our little boy is safe, happy and so well cared for. Staff have made a huge effort to genuinely know him, take a keen interest in encouraging his progression and development, and are so kind to him. There is a huge range of activities including outside play every day. On a personal note, the flexibility and generosity of the whole team has helped us as a family to manage a difficult and stressful time. Thank you to everyone at Norfolk House Moseley you are all amazing!

Our son transferred to Norfolk House at the start of the year. The team have been brilliant at helping him settle. They are such a warm bunch and clearly love looking after the kids and helping them grow and thrive.

Exceptional nursery whereby every single person is so positive and kind! It makes a huge difference when dropping your child off. My daughter just started nursery and knowing she has such wonderful people looking after her makes you feel much more relaxed as a parent. Charlie and Safah have both been brilliant and have made us feel relieved during the settling-in process.

Wonderful nursery. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Our little boy warmed to the staff very quickly and handovers at the end of the day are thorough. They always have a fantastic array of activities for children to take part in, both inside and out. Have also been extremely impressed by the number of 'extracurricular activities' with members of staff going above and beyond to provide stay and plays and parties for children and parents. Would highly recommend.

My two-year son is in the toddler room at Norfolk House Moseley. It always feels like such a bright and welcoming place to come into. There is always new and nice activities laid out for the children, and he is always happy to go in, and happy when he comes out! Communication is excellent and the team are always holding extra activities and initiatives. Lovely place.

Couldn't be happier with this place for our daughter. She's developed so much since she's been here and all the staff are excellent with her, very friendly and excellent at their jobs. There are so many additional activities arranged that it's hard to keep up. Highly recommended

Our son moved to the Oxford Road setting as soon as it opened and we didn't hesitate for our daughter to join later last year. In fact, she started to attend before I returned to work as the facilities and activities at the nursery are outstanding and she loved it from the very first moment she entered the room. The staff are incredibly caring and welcoming. They develop great bonds with the children. The managers are fantastic and the setting is run very smoothly and efficiently. They are incredibly creative and constantly look for ways to enhance the children's experiences - there are various events and trips for the children as well as numerous family events which gives a sense of a lovely community. The food is fantastic and they accommodate all food allergies with great care. Nothing is an obstacle, even when a child requires additional support. It is an amazing environment and our children are continuing to thrive in their loving care.
