My daughter started nursery in August 2022 and I was very apprehensive about how it would be as she is very wary of people and doesn't warm to people quickly. However, within a few weeks, I was so pleasantly surprised at how confident she has become and how much she now loves coming into nursery. My
daughter has completely warmed to her key worker and the other nursery nurses in her room who have been so wonderful, patient and accommodating. The team at Oxford Road from management, the rooms, kitchen etc are all so friendly, dedicated and hard-working and I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Our 20-month-old and 4-year-old have been at Oxford Road since it opened. Both children absolutely love the nursery and pre-school and the children's key workers are amazing and know our children's likes, dislikes and all the funny little things that make them - them!
We love all the extracurricular
activities and the activities planned and organised by the girls are so much fun and loved by all the children.

The staff at the nursery are fantastic. They are so kind and caring, always smiley and friendly and brilliant with the children. The range of activities they do with the children is very impressive and I'm so happy with how my son has settled in and is developing. My son's key worker couldn't be more
caring and lovely with him and I feel so pleased that I can leave him in the hands of someone I really trust, and that really cares about him. Would highly recommend.

We cannot speak highly enough of the excellent staff, brilliant care provided, high-quality nutrition and facilities at Norfolk House. It is great to know that our little boy is safe, happy and so well cared for. Staff have made a huge effort to genuinely know him, take a keen interest in encouraging
his progression and development, and are so kind to him. There is a huge range of activities including outside play every day. On a personal note, the flexibility and generosity of the whole team has helped us as a family to manage a difficult and stressful time. Exceptional nursery whereby every single person is so positive and kind! It makes a huge difference when dropping your child off. Wonderful nursery. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Our little boy warmed to the staff very quickly and handovers at the end of the day are thorough. They always have a fantastic array of activities for children to take part in, both inside and out. Have also been extremely impressed by
the number of 'extracurricular activities' with members of staff going above and beyond to provide stay and plays and parties for children and parents. Would highly recommend.

My two-year son is in the toddler room at Norfolk House Moseley. It always feels like such a bright and welcoming place to come into. There is always new and nice activities laid out for the children, and he is always happy to go in, and happy when he comes out! Communication is excellent and the team

Couldn't be happier with this place for our daughter. She's developed so much since she's been here and all the staff are excellent with her, very friendly and excellent at their jobs. There are so many additional activities arranged that it's hard to keep up. Highly recommended

Our son moved to the Oxford Road setting as soon as it opened and we didn't hesitate for our daughter to join later last year. In fact, she started to attend before I returned to work as the facilities and activities at the nursery are outstanding and she loved it from the very first moment she entered
the room. The staff are incredibly caring and welcoming. They develop great bonds with the children. The managers are fantastic and the setting is run very smoothly and efficiently. They are incredibly creative and constantly look for ways to enhance the children's experiences - there are various events and trips for the children as well as numerous family events which gives a sense of a lovely community. The food is fantastic and they accommodate all food allergies with great care. Nothing is an obstacle, even when a child requires additional support. It is an amazing environment and our children are continuing to thrive in their loving care.

Our daughter has just joined Norfolk house in the preschool room and everything about the transfer has been excellent.
In addition to the open day, she also went on several settling-in sessions which really helped to make her feel comfortable and included. She was also invited to the Christmas party,
so she really got a feel for the place prior to starting.
From a parent's perspective, the staff have been great at taking the time to answer my questions and provide any paperwork/information. They also included me in parent emails so that I got a sense of the schedule and any extra events that are taking place prior to her starting. I am so impressed with the level of communication and the range of activities that she will be taking part in. All the other parents that I've met really rate/recommend Norfolk House and so far it's easy to see why!

Our daughter has been at Norfolk House since it opened and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Handing your child over to someone other than family or a friend is a very daunting prospect, but the team at Oxford road have been outstanding from the outset. All the members of staff seem
genuinely happy to work there. The nursery has fantastic, welcoming rooms with stimulating activities each day, including trips out to the local parks and other child-friendly destinations. Now seven months on since starting our daughter smiles whenever we say the word nursery or say the names of her key worker and other members of staff she has become close to. The parent-to-staff relationship is very strong and we feel very included in helping to develop the nursery. Thank you so much to all the staff at Oxford Road, you are amazing.

My daughter has attended Norfolk House Nursery since September. She has settled in so well. The staff are amazing and the facilities are fantastic. With the help of the staff support system, we have managed to overcome many barriers. Everyone has been kind, welcoming and supportive. We are given daily

We moved our toddler from another nursery, where she was happy and settled, due to our elder daughter starting school near to Norfolk House Nursery. We were worried about how our 2-year-old would settle but she is now so happy in the toddler room. The room leader is amazing. She sets up creative activities
for the children to come into every morning. They do lots of crafts and messy play and are out in the garden daily. The nursery manager and deputy are also outstanding. They organise for external companies to come in and run lots of activities, e.g. baby ballet and toddler tennis. We know our 2-year-old is stimulated and learning all day long. She is also eating home-cooked, healthy food and has lots of cuddles from the incredibly caring, warm and lovely staff. They also prepare home learning packs, for example, we had a brilliant playdough set recently with a wildlife theme. This is a truly outstanding nursery.

We opted for Norfolk House Nursery for our second child because of the staff, and they have been excellent.
Everyone is very happy to help and incredibly friendly.
Our girl is tube fed and a team of the staff signed up to learn how to tube feed her, which really made us feel welcome and valued. They
all go the extra mile and communication with us is excellent.
There are plenty of regular activities week in week out for the kids, but also family events where we can all visit and join in, like Halloween, Christmas and story time.
The team have a genuine passion for the kids and our girl loves going in.
We cannot fault the nursery, the facilities or the team.

Our daughter has attended Norfolk House Nursery since September and is in her pre-school year. The staff are incredible and have taken the time to get to know her, her likes and her development needs. Activities are tailored to her individual needs and activities are suggested and provided to continue
learning and play at home.
We feel like she is getting the best possible pre-school year. Her confidence has grown, she is more willing to participate and try new things and she is keen to expand her social circles and make unprompted conversation.
As a family, we feel very much part of Norfolk House life and love being treated so warmly. Our children all love it and look forward to going.

Hayley Fox

Job Title: Senior Nursery Manager Joined: 2009

I am Hayley Fox, the Senior Nursery Manager. I oversee all three of our nurseries, sharing my time between them and working closely with the Nursery Managers who are responsible for their day-to-day operation. We have found that this arrangement further enhances the level of service we are able to provide and keeps us at the very forefront of Early Years education.


I have worked in Early Years education for 22 years. I started work at our Norfolk Road setting in April 2009, some five months before it opened its doors. I have therefore been able to recruit staff, plan and implement policies, and develop best practice in all areas from the Nursery’s very inception. My own daughter attended the Nursery and progressed through every age group, which has enabled me to view it from a parent’s perspective.


My team and I would be delighted to show you around our setting, explain further the service we provide and answer all your questions. Please do not hesitate to make contact, and I look forward very much to meeting you in the future.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

I started working at Norfolk House Nursery, Norfolk Road in 2012 as a Modern Apprentice. Between 2012 and 2016, I worked my way through positions from Senior, Room Leader, Deputy and then Manager. Since 2016, I have enjoyed every second of working as the Nursery Manager to implement the highest standards of care and education. Not only that, but it has been an absolute pleasure to build up such great partnerships with the hundreds of families I have had the pleasure to meet.
