Staff are very friendly, motivated and committed to the children, ensuring nursery is a welcoming place to learn and play! They put on a wide variety of activities for the children, including forest school which is a firm favourite!

I would thoroughly recommend Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road to all parents. Since attending, our 13 month old has thrived thanks to the incredible care of staff and high quality curriculum. She is very happy there and the staff are very friendly and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. We did
not hesitate to book our second child into the same nursery.

Our daughter has been happily attending for almost a year and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention she receives. She has been treated like an individual from her first day. Her key workers have been amazing and have gotten to know her really well. The staff are friendly and conscientious,
and all seem happy to be at work. Everyone was very supportive during our initial settling-in period. Communication with nursey management has always been clear and easy, and the managers seem to know the children well. The range of activities offered is great so the timetable is nice and varied. Food is apparently much better than at home.

We have 2x children who have attended Norfolk house (Oxford road) from babies through to pre school graduation. The nursery provide a warm nurturing environment with caring staff who go above and beyond to ensure children are well cared for, happy and learning. Activities are numerous, varied and well
enjoyed by the children. The management team go above and beyond responding to queries promptly and helping whenever needed. I recommend to everyone I speak to.

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter has received at this nursery. Since starting here at just one year old, she has absolutely thrived - we've seen such lovely progress in her confidence, communication, and overall development. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the children
and create a warm, nurturing environment where they can grow and explore.


One thing that has meant so much to us is how thoughtfully they've handled her milk allergy. The team has been incredibly attentive, careful, and proactive in meeting her dietary needs, giving us real peace of mind each day. Knowing she is safe, understood, and included in everything makes all the difference.


We're so grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of everyone there. It's reassuring to know our child is in such capable and caring hands - we highly recommend this nursery to other families.

Staff communication with us has been excellent. Induction/transition was done thoughtfully, with staff clearly aware that it is a transition for parents too. Staff put a lot of effort into planning experiences and activities for the children, including several themed around seasonal events or special
days. The nursery hosts regular stay and plays so families can get to know staff and see what the environment is like. Managers know our child well and are involved in their education and care. The nursery seems to be a happy place with happy, hard-working staff.

I have taken part in a stay and play where my daughter's future key worker was able to inform me with lots of interesting and vital detail about a typical day at Norfolk house Nursery. Oxford Road Nursery is exceptional. My children receive truly outstanding care. The staff are genuinely invested in each child, understanding their individual needs and interests. Transitions between rooms have been effortless, and my older child has thrived throughout her time there. Communication
is excellent, with thorough daily handovers. The facilities are fantastic, and the wide range of extracurricular activities keeps the children engaged and learning. Most importantly, my children love going to Nursery. It's a nurturing environment with a real family feel.

Our daughter has been attending Norfolk House Nursery on Oxford Road for 7 months and has flourished during her time there. The communication during settling in sessions was great, making the transition easier for her and us, as parents. Since starting nursery she has developed lots of new skills, including
speech, walking and fine motor skills. The nursery have a range of activities including lots of singing, arts and crafts, imaginative play and outdoor time. Our daughter is very happy here and has a great relationship with her key worker and all of the staff.

Our son moved up to Babies 2 in January. The staff really made his transition up from babies1 stress-free. He really enjoys the new room and has made new friends and settled in with the staff. Norfolk House Nursery is a really great nursery that we and our son really loves.

Absolutely delighted with our experience at Norfolk House Nursery! The staff are incredibly attentive, nurturing, and skilled, ensuring each child receives personalised care. The range of activities is impressive, from educational games to creative crafts, keeping little ones engaged and stimulated.
The on-site soft play area is a huge hit, providing a safe and fun space for active play. The forest school program is a fantastic addition, allowing children to explore nature and develop a love for the outdoors. Plus, the numerous extra events and opportunities for parents to get involved foster a strong sense of community. And as vegans, we appreciate the thoughtfulness in catering to our dietary preferences. Norfolk House Nursery truly goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
Our son only goes one day a week but always looks forward to his Friday! Highly recommend!

As a parent you look for a nursery that is an extension of your home, a place where your children will be loved and nurtured, have the opportunity to thrive and develop and most importantly be in an environment where they are acknowledged for who they are and allowed to fully express themselves and
that is exactly what we have at Norfolk House, Oxford Road. From day one the staff welcomed us all and they work in partnership with you as parents to fully meet the needs of your children. Let me tell you why you should send your child to this nursery - it’s simply the best!
Norfolk House Nursery was recommended to me. After visiting I remember being blown away. The vibe is inclusive, fun friendly, yet I see that they are also focused on children’s development - not an easy mix to pull
off. The nursery is kept so clean (which I love) and has a great outdoor play area.
My little one has been here for over a year and we couldn’t be happier with her development. We receive detailed updates when we pick her up and the staff are always super friendly. The nursery organises lots of themed activities, trips and crafts. They also organise celebrations for the children and parents to attend throughout the year (the most incredible Christmas party)!
I love how they celebrate every milestone with us and always help create personalised gifts for families to enjoy from their child. Something I will cherish forever.
I’m so glad I chose to send my girl here. I truly feel that Norfolk House Nursery has helped her flourish.

Such a wonderful nursery! The staff are so meticulous at planning out the entire month’s activities and letting parents know in advance.
My son started in the toddler room and the team are brilliant. The activities, days outs, all events celebrated, stay and play activities and even after nursery
activities such as Xmas party, Diwali party, and Eid party have been well received and well organised. A huge thank you to the staff, what a lovely bunch of ladies who go above and beyond their call of duty. My son’s vocabulary increased after one month of attendance and after one year his confidence has grown.
My son has recently moved to pre-school. The transition process has been fazed in gently and the team have been keeping us well informed.

I am Hayley Fox, the Senior Nursery Manager. I oversee all three of our nurseries, sharing my time between them and working closely with the Nursery Managers who are responsible for their day-to-day operation. We have found that this arrangement further enhances the level of service we are able to provide and keeps us at the very forefront of Early Years education.


I have worked in Early Years education for 22 years. I started work at our Norfolk Road setting in April 2009, some five months before it opened its doors. I have therefore been able to recruit staff, plan and implement policies, and develop best practice in all areas from the Nursery’s very inception. I started working at Norfolk House Nursery, Norfolk Road in 2012 as a Modern Apprentice. Between 2012 and 2016, I worked my way through positions from Senior, Room Leader, Deputy and then Manager. Since 2016, I have enjoyed every second of working as the Nursery Manager to implement the highest standards of care and education. Not only that, but it has been an absolute pleasure to build up such great partnerships with the hundreds of families I have had the pleasure to meet.
