Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

Staff are very friendly, motivated and committed to the children, ensuring nursery is a welcoming place to learn and play! They put on a wide variety of activities for the children, including forest school which is a firm favourite!

I would thoroughly recommend Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road to all parents. Since attending, our 13 month old has thrived thanks to the incredible care of staff and high quality curriculum. She is very happy there and the staff are very friendly and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. We did not hesitate to book our second child into the same nursery.

Our daughter has been happily attending for almost a year and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention she receives. She has been treated like an individual from her first day. Her key workers have been amazing and have gotten to know her really well. The staff are friendly and conscientious, and all seem happy to be at work. Everyone was very supportive during our initial settling-in period. Communication with nursey management has always been clear and easy, and the managers seem to know the children well. The range of activities offered is great so the timetable is nice and varied. Food is apparently much better than at home.

Norfolk House Nursery is such a warm and welcoming setting. The staff are nurturing and truly care about each child in their care. The communication for families is wonderful, sharing regular photos and comments to share the amazing experiences they offer the children.

We have 2x children who have attended Norfolk house (Oxford road) from babies through to pre school graduation. The nursery provide a warm nurturing environment with caring staff who go above and beyond to ensure children are well cared for, happy and learning. Activities are numerous, varied and well enjoyed by the children. The management team go above and beyond responding to queries promptly and helping whenever needed. I recommend to everyone I speak to.

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter has received at this nursery. Since starting here at just one year old, she has absolutely thrived - we've seen such lovely progress in her confidence, communication, and overall development. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and create a warm, nurturing environment where they can grow and explore.

The team has been incredibly attentive, careful, and proactive in meeting her dietary needs, giving us real peace of mind each day. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. His key worker and all the nursery nurses are very caring and attentive.

Staff communication with us has been excellent. Induction/transition was done thoughtfully, with staff clearly aware that it is a transition for parents too. Staff put a lot of effort into planning experiences and activities for the children, including several themed around seasonal events or special days. The nursery hosts regular stay and plays so families can get to know staff and see what the environment is like. Managers know our child well and are involved in their education and care. The nursery seems to be a happy place with happy, hard-working staff.

I have taken part in a stay and play where my daughter's future key worker was able to inform me with lots of interesting and vital detail about a typical day at Norfolk house Nursery. I left feeling so reassured and welcomed by her. In addition to this, I received a lovely email thanking us for attending which again reinforced. What a wonderful community our daughter will be introduced to as she grows with Norfolk House.

Oxford Road Nursery is exceptional. My children receive truly outstanding care. The staff are genuinely invested in each child, understanding their individual needs and interests. Transitions between rooms have been effortless, and my older child has thrived throughout her time there. Communication is excellent, with thorough daily handovers. The facilities are fantastic, and the wide range of extracurricular activities keeps the children engaged and learning. Most importantly, my children love going to Nursery. It's a nurturing environment with a real family feel.

Our daughter has been attending Norfolk House Nursery on Oxford Road for 7 months and has flourished during her time there. The communication during settling in sessions was great, making the transition easier for her and us, as parents. Since starting nursery she has developed lots of new skills, including speech, walking and fine motor skills. The nursery have a range of activities including lots of singing, arts and crafts, imaginative play and outdoor time. Our daughter is very happy here and has a great relationship with her key worker and all of the staff.

We have started this nursery in January and have had great welcome. The staff are very friendly and doing a great job. The nursery is well presented and would recommend to family and friends. My child is happy during her stay at the nursery and we have had no complaints.

Our daughter has settled in brilliantly and I cannot fault the nursery one bit. The activities and curriculum are outstanding and very diverse. The organisation is superb and the staff are very engaging and have already formed great relationships with our daughter.
