The Nursery is very friendly and open. I feel confident to discuss any issues with staff about my child's behaviour and learning. I feel secure in knowing that my child is having a fun and a safe experience. He comes home happy, having been at Pre-school and is always keen to come back the next day.

I’ve been really impressed with the Bright Horizons Didcot Nursery staff. My son is two and a half and has always come home full of excitement and bursting to tell me what he’s been up to all day.


The staff have always seemed very kind to my son. Always greeting him by name, and always seeming to

have built a good rapport whenever I drop him off.


On the one occasion that staff needed to contact me during day at nursery it was very quick and efficient, with a sound explanation of the problem and steps taken to resolve it and ensure my son is cared for in the correct manner.


I’d like to thank the team (especially his key worker) for always being attentive to my son, keeping him busy and entertained and for all the many exciting little lessons he’s learned during his time at Bright Horizons Didcot.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough! We moved to Didcot last year and I was nervous about the transition for the kids. We had fabulous support from everyone and my kids loved it from the very first day. They talk about the activities, the staff, their new friends and enjoy going to nursery.
The rooms, the food and the outdoor space are excellent. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. We are all very happy.

My Daughter recently moved to this nursery and she is so happy at Didcot. She is keen to arrive each day and greets her friends and staff with a big grin. She eats very well always having seconds. I have seen such an improvement with her learning, happiness and behaviour. The staff are wonderful and
do an amazing job. I would definitely recommend Didcot to friends.

Our little girl has been in nursery for the last nine weeks and has come on leaps and bounds since. From crying when we first dropped her off, to putting her arms out to staff in this amount of time is brilliant and very reassuring. She is always happy when she comes home, developmentally she has come

Very happy with the room staff in acorns. They made our daughters transition to nursery as smooth as it could be and did a great job with her. Two particular girls were absolutely brilliant. The food menu is amazing and she gets better food than we do in the day, in fact, can we come for lunch?

My son is happy at nursery and I feel confident leaving him in their care. The staff always greet my son when he arrives and also the staff on reception are always friendly and helpful.
The rooms and outdoor space are excellent, my son loves time outside running around. He enjoys trying different foods
at nursery and the children are provided with plenty of healthy meals.


Overall, very happy with this nursery and would definitely recommend. Starting nursery was a stress-free transition for us. Thank you!

The staff at Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool are great. They create a lovely, fun and warm environment for the children. We have two children at this nursery and they’re both happy to be there. We feel confident when we leave them in the mornings because we know the staff are taking

This is a fantastic Nursery. Our daughter has been attending since October 2018 and her speech and confidence has grown. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the staff. They learn something new every day and we love that they play outside in the fresh air every day, which we
think is extremely important. Huge bonus is that they provide nappies, wipes, snacks and properly cooked meals, which are included in the fee.


The staff are excellent, down to earth, lovely and above all extremely capable. We feel relaxed leaving our daughter there because we feel so reassured that she is going to be well looked after and have a lot of fun.

My daughter transferred to the Didcot site from another Bright Horizons Nursery; I couldn't be happier. The care, compassion, enthusiasm and professionalism of the team are second to none. After her first day, my daughter said that her careers were 'the best in the whole wide world'. She loves going
and has settled in fantastically. The variety of daily activities keeps my daughter stimulated. She is learning so much and talks so positively about her day. Communication with the team is fantastic; so welcoming. The management team are always on hand and couldn't be more helpful. Can't rate Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool highly enough.

An excellent nursery! Staff have helped with the transition and made me feel really confident about leaving my daughter in their care. They are informal about what she has been up to throughout her day, with regular pictures so I don't feel I am missing out on precious moments. The management team have

My little boy has recently started at the nursery. The settling in sessions are informative and thorough. The staff are all efficient and aware of his needs. The communication is great and we are always made aware of how he has been throughout the day and what he has enjoyed doing. The activities available
to him are varied and the room always looks exciting.


The manager is always welcoming and will support with any questions.


I would defiantly recommend the nursery.

I was extremely nervous about sending my son to nursery for the first time. He is 21 months old. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The environment is clean and tidy and my son always comes home well fed, clean and very very happy. I couldn’t rate them higher.

We moved my 22 month old son across from a different nursery but still in the Bright Horizons family. Both my husband and I are really pleased with the nursery. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The communication from within the nursery has been excellent. The manager and deputy manager are always
very visible and easy to get hold of if needed.

Ellis

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2011

Ellis has worked in childcare for 18 years, gaining extensive experience across a variety of settings with children ranging from birth to 11 years old. She joined the Didcot setting when it opened in September 2018, starting as Deputy Manager. Over the past nine years with Bright Horizons, Ellis has steadily grown and developed, advancing through several leadership roles before becoming Nursery Manager.


In the past six months, Ellis has had the privilege of presenting at the National Nursery Managers Show at both the NEC in Birmingham and the Excel in London. These opportunities allowed her to share her passion for incorporating a sustainability curriculum into early years education. She provided practical ideas to fellow professionals in the industry, finding it deeply rewarding to contribute to such an important conversation and inspire others in the field.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Childcare has been at the heart of Olivia’s journey since leaving sixth form in 2014. Over the years, Olivia has developed her skills and grown her career in early years education, moving from an Early Years practitioner to most recently Deputy Manager.


Olivia is passionate about continuous learning, collaboration with families, and building strong, supportive relationships to create the best outcomes for every child. Olivia feels a huge sense of pride in contributing to shaping young lives, supporting them on their unique journeys.

Job Title: Third in Charge

Hannah is our Third in Charge. She has worked in childcare since 2012, gaining a variety of experience in different nurseries and age groups from 3 months old to 5 years. Hannah transferred to the Didcot Nursery in 2018 and quickly became the room leader of the 2-3's room. In May 2019, Hannah became Third in Charge and stepped up to maternity cover as Deputy Manager in 2020 and now remains as the Third in Charge for Didcot. In this position, Hannah works closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager to implement high-quality programs, coordinate staff, and maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children.
