Staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s clear that the staff work well as a team and show a genuine interest in my child and their progress. They are very responsive to individual children’s needs and how they can help their educational and behavioural needs.
I’m really impressed with Bright Horizons all the staff are lovely and my little boy loves his key workers. The app is brilliant and really keeps me included in what my son is getting up to. Would definitely recommend this nursery to any parents.
The team and the facilities at Bright Horizons in Didcot are fantastic. The nursery is well-appointed, clean, and they have lots for the kids to do. The whole team is brilliant. The daily updates and photos in the app are a great touch. It's nice to see what my daughter is doing throughout the day. My daughter was born deaf and requires a little more time and effort than most kids. The team have not just risen to this challenge, they have embraced it. They’re doing some good work with her helping her learn to communicate. We are definitely seeing the benefits of the work they are doing at home. Everyone has been fantastic, from the management team to the girls that look after her and everyone in between. I'm really happy Bright Horizons, and so is my daughter.
Bright Horizons in Didcot has been amazing. My daughter loves going every day and we have also felt so at ease leaving her to spend her days there. She has learnt so much and they also do such lovely activities for all the children. Our daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and I can honestly say it’s been great, it’s like a little family. She gets welcomed every morning and I have not come across any staff member who doesn’t know her name and say hello as soon as they see her. It’s been a great start for her.
The food is good and varied and there is always an interesting activity planned for the kids. The app is also good and proves a good insight into what they get up to during the day.
The nursery and staff are fantastic. As a new parent we, of course, felt uneasy about leaving our daughter with new people but the staff really take the time to get to know her and what she likes/dislikes. They listen to feedback about day to day care of the child and keep in regular contact with us when needed. I can't really fault anything and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents. Thanks to the amazing staff for looking after our daughter!
This nursery has consistently provided excellent childcare services throughout the last eighteen months, including during the lockdown period. The staff are friendly, professional and communicative and the recent adoption of the Bright Horizons app has further improved the experience as a whole. The nursery is clean and appears well-run.
Good communication from the nursery about daily progress.
The only bit can suggest having some more learning activities for the child.
We have been very happy with our experience at Bright Horizons, Didcot. The staff and management handled COVID very well and the communication was excellent. The staff and key workers are very caring and there is always a warm welcome. Our little one comes out smiling and has a great time in preschool.
Bright horizons team were very reassuring and supportive throughout the settling sessions. From the first day she came home happier and more exhausted than she had ever been before.
That staff are always happy and bright, communication is regular, effective and professional; Activities are varied and have really promoted my daughter's communication and understanding as she is an EAL child ( English is an Additional Language).
The cook makes delicious, fresh and healthy meals, she loves them.
Overall, Bright Horizons Didcot Nursery is a caring environment where my daughter is flourishing. I could not recommend it more.
I cannot fault the care given by all staff my son has been looked after by. They are all very friendly, polite and professional. It’s a great nursery and I would 100% recommend it to friends and family.
You are always met with a smile from any member of the team and communication is great.
I also love the updates on their app of what the little munchkin has been up to!
I love hearing about my daughters day and seeing weekly photos on the app makes you feel more connected to the different activities they plan each week.
Seeing my daughter happily walk into her room makes dropping her off easier and we are always greeted with friendly faces.
Thank you to the catering staff too who seem to make meals my daughter will happily eat!
This is my 2nd review about a year on and my view remains unchanged. I cannot fault this nursery in the care of my son. He loves nursery and everyone there. His key person has been fantastic with him this year, supporting his toilet training (literally a couple of days) and getting him ready for the arrival of his sister. Communication with the nursery is exceptional and the launch of the app is a welcome addition - love getting daily photo. My son is excited to go in most days and chatters all the way home. He is making friends well and appears to have an extremely varied day. The food is great and apparently ‘better at nursery than home’. Number 2 is on the waiting list so fingers crossed for a place!
The nursery staff are warm and welcoming and there are always fun activities set up for the children especially crafting. They do lots of outdoor play too, my son is very happy here. They have also been very supportive with dietary requests and have lots of healthy food menus for flexibility. I'm very pleased with the all-around care my boys have received here.
My son is nearly 3, he's been with the nursery since he was 10 months old. We absolutely love the place! The staff are so friendly and supportive. The setting is great! Modern, clean and a great learning environment. My son loves this nursery.
We have been at Bright Horizons Didcot since Feb 2020 and my daughter settled in so fast and has loved her time in the 3 units she’s worked her way through. The staff in each have been wonderfully caring and nurturing with great open communication - particularly in usual ways of operating. I am so content sending my daughter there to be well looked after each day and had no hesitation in putting my unborn child on the waiting list!
Thank you to all the staff for making such a safe happy environment.
Our daughter has just left the nursery to go to school and she had been at the nursery since the day they opened. She’s had a fantastic journey and the staff have been incredibly supporting her all the way from potty “training” to writing her name. As parents we have been happy with the level of care and have always been good at communicating should any concerns arise.
Super supportive to the children and also the parents. They go above and beyond and there is a real personal touch feeling and the staff genuinely care about you as a family, not just the children they care for.
The kids are never unhappy or hesitant to go, even when feeling unwell.
They barely ever say "goodbye" as are just so keen to get in and start learning and having fun.
Can't thank the team enough for making the kids feel safe and we as parents feel safe leaving them in your care.
Also, a massive thank you for putting yourselves out there during Covid and stay open literally the whole time. That shows a massive credit to hygiene practice, super hardworking and committed staff and keeping key workers doing their thing - It's thanks to you all that key workers could continue to work.
Thank you for everything so far.
We have been so impressed with the nursery as a whole and particularly with the valuable role of our son's key person and the deputy manager. The communication has been excellent, as has the level of care and support for our son. We feel very happy and confident leaving our son in the care of the staff at the nursery.

Over the past nine years with Bright Horizons, Ellis has steadily grown and developed, advancing through several leadership roles before becoming Nursery Manager.
