Lancing Day Nursery & Pre-school

My daughter had been attending since she was 2 and has always loved it! The staff are always friendly and communicate well, especially during the pandemic. My daughter loves the outdoor playing as well as all the craft activities they do. Would definitely recommend!

In terms of activities and learning, there is so much for them to do. The outdoor space is also a massive plus.

My son is now 3 years 5 months, I booked nursery last year but because of corona I don’t send him. My son started 2 months ago. Really lovely staff members. Good behaviour with parents also. Have gardens also so the kids play outside and in the big room. I highly recommend you send your children.

Staff always friendly, my daughter loves the food and it’s cooked on site which is nice. Always a nice range of activities to do and updates regularly on how my child has done. Love the photos they put onto the app that I can access. Payment to nursery easy and simple and very clear what the charge is for.

My little girl has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old now at 18 months she loves it. She runs in each day so excited to go. She always comes out chatting away and happy. She has loved being with her friends at nursery and playing with all the toys. She has really progressed since being there. She has now suddenly started doing the actions to certain songs at home that she has remembered from nursery. She eats well there with a wide range of foods prepared on-site which was important to me and the team are very accommodating should I have any requests. After lockdown, she had no problem settling back in she was so excited to be there with her friends. The team are brilliant with her.

A Step Ahead Lancing has been a great nursery for our son. We had to move him from a nursery in Brighton and it was a big change for him. He is now in Bumblebee and the staff are fantastic! We always get a great handover at the end of the day and they let me know of the funny things he has done. Highly recommend.

Both of my children have loved being part of this nursery. The fees are great for the resources they have. The staff are all really supportive, friendly, professional, smiley and very polite. My son is always greeted with a warm welcoming smile and friendly face.

My 2-year-old son attends this nursery twice a week (started at 9-months-old), he absolutely loves going, and it has really made a difference with all his learning and life skills. My eldest son, now 5, started at 1-year-old, and stayed until school age, he absolutely loved it too and made some of his best friends there which he now has in his school class. The colleagues communicate well and help support all our requirements. It’s in an ideal location for me, and I feel relaxed leaving my boy in their hands.

Our son loves going to nursery. The staff are very friendly and give good feedback every day. He’s in the 2-3 room and his key worker does lots of fun learning activities with him like learning about caterpillars and other bugs. He enjoys the varied food. Going to nursery has helped to develop his language and social interaction with other children. It’s a very down to earth friendly place. They’ve taken COVID seriously and protected the children well.

The staff at A Step Ahead are amazing! The nursery manager made the whole settling in process easy and comfortable for the both of us. The 2-3 room has lots of things on offer and I always get to see my son's milestones through Iconnect. My son is always so happy when I collect and the hand over is very detailed. Keep up the good work girls you all do such an amazing job!!
