Lancing Day Nursery & Pre-school

Been really happy with the care at this nursery, my son has loved attending. The staff are all lovely and have a real mix of experience. He really loves it when they do trips out to the beach and always comes home singing nursery rhymes. I will definitely send my other children here when it’s time.

We moved to the area and chose this nursery for our then 2.5 year old daughter. She settled quickly and loves going. The staff have encouraged her, especially with toilet training. Our baby daughter has just started too and its going well.

Lovely staff. My daughter loves going in every day and she is learning so much with them. They have improved the menu. But I am still not happy with pudding for every meal. I'm sure there is no need to give kids sugar when they are so young. And it is hard to tell one kid they can't have it when all their friends are having it.

My daughter has gone to this nursery for nearly two years. She has come on amazingly with the help of the amazing staff at the nursery. I have never had an issue with my child or information. I will definitely recommend this nursery for years to come.

The four years there have been brilliant and she's absolutely loved it. All the staff have been great, especially her key worker who has been there since our daughter started back in June 2018. Our little one has grown so much, she's got so much confidence (maybe too much - lol) and will do so well at school thanks to the manager and the rest of the team.

My son is at this nursery and has been for almost a year. It is a lovely nursery, all the staff are amazing, friendly and caring. My son speaks very highly of all the staff there, great selection of toys and activities. We love it.

Lancing Day Nursery have been amazing. My daughter was not the most confident in new places and could be clingy but from her first settling session at nursery she has never looked back. She has cried when it is not her day at nursery and misses it! She loves learning with the staff and playing with her friends. The staff have supported through changes at home too; when a sibling was born. Which was a massive help as it was such a big change. It helped her understand what was happening and that she was still so important to us too. Even though her key worker changed a few times she did not mind as she has a great relationship with all the staff. She is so ready for school but is really going to miss everyone. Cannot recommend enough. Our youngest will be attending when it is his turn!

Being a first time mum and having to go back to work when my little boy was 9 months old was difficult, but I felt completely at ease, reassured that my son was in safe hands. He is a confident, kind and loveable little boy, I believe the staff have contributed to this, to which he is now ready to move over to the toddler room. The transition has been really smooth with no hiccups. The staff are the kindest of people, always listening to your worries, give advice and cheer at the special moments achieved. The food is spectacular, having an on site chef making the food makes it a home from home experience.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery since 9 months old. She has just had her last day there. Over the years there have been changes made that have only made the nursery better and better. She loved being there, it was like her second home. The staff were all lovely and actually cared about how she was progressing, she loves the food and eats everything normally with seconds. Management really listen to any questions or queries and try and implement what you have said. Really lovely setting for children, lots to do and so much fun. Thank you to all the staff. You made her ready for school and have helped shape the person she is.

In almost 2-years, the staff at Lancing Day Nursery & Pre-school have worked miracles on my son. When he started nursery, he could only say a few words but within a month of starting, he was able to sing a nursery song to me. His speech has gone from strength to strength since. More recently, my son has needed support with his emotional development and I can't thank the staff, especially his keyworker, enough for the help and strategies they've given to my son and myself to work through what was a pretty tough period. The nursery space is incredible, the new room layout really maximises the useable space and I enjoyed seeing my son access different areas of learning during the recent open day. The outside space is amazing and I'm sure my son would spend all day every day out there if he could. I couldn't ask for a better nursery, I highly recommend it!

We are so please with how our son has progressed over his time here.

The team have been brilliant with her, sometimes she even cries when I pick her up because she doesn't want to leave!

Love this nursery and my son loves it. Staff are amazing, we love them. They are so understanding, friendly and helpful. My son loves coming to his nursery (which makes all the difference and its so nice knowing he loves it and he is safe and cared for). I couldn't think of a better safer nursery for my son to attend. The garden, facilities and food are great too.

The management and staff of the nursery are absolutely friendly and amazing! My girls settled in so fast, I couldn’t believe it. So much attention is paid to the children and no stone is left unturned to ensure that my kids get the best experiences every day. Communication is top-notch and their feedback is laudable. The videos and photos I get from their daily activities and the constant progress report is great! The food is great and I am glad my kids are being exposed to varieties and independent feeding.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since September 2020 starting in the 2-3s room. She is now in the preschool room and has really found her feet and gained a lot of confidence. I would like to thank the nursery Practitioners for encouraging my daughter, helping her gain confidence, and always going that extra step.

We just started at the Nursery and already I’m impressed. The nursery practitioners are incredible and you can tell they really care for the well-being of the children. I appreciate the time and energy they spend on the children and I am assured I’m leaving my little one in great hands. They are caring, energetic, and focused on the development of each child at their own level and pace. It’s like we are sending our little one to an extension of our family.

My daughter has excelled in this nursery. Especially with her speech. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. Special shout out to one particular member of staff who is most mentioned by my daughter. She and everyone has been wonderful to my daughter. When she first arrived my daughter's behaviour was very challenging, but they took it all in their stride. Her speech has improved dramatically between speech and language therapy and the nursery working together. I am so very grateful to all of the staff.

My daughter has been at this fantastic nursery from the baby snug up to the now larger pre-school room. She really enjoys her time here and has built really strong relationships with her key workers. The nursery practitioners have been absolutely wonderful with her. She gets on well with all the other children and comes home happy and tells me about all the fun things she's done that day.

The nursery follows the rules of Covid.

Whilst in the caterpillar room my son was exceptionally cared for by the team in there. The love and support they gave us as a family was of a high standard and the activities and learning opportunities were always well thought and tailored to my son's individuality.
