My two eldest daughters attended this nursery. My youngest will also be attending when she is of age to start nursery. The staff are always so friendly, I loved the bond my childhood with their keyworkers. I was always kept up to date with my daughter's progress. If I ever had any concerns it was dealt

My little girl started A Step Ahead when she was nine months old in the baby room. I felt so comfortable leaving her with the girls in the room as they were so friendly and make everything so easy for me and my little one. The care she received is amazing you can tell they love their jobs and will go
above and beyond. I loved hearing all about her day and seeing updates myself. She loved being at nursery and always went in with a big smile on her face. Hopefully, she will be returning again in the new year and I’m so excited to watch her flourish again.

My daughter aged 16 months started at the nursery a few months ago and has settled into nursery so quickly. My Daughter started in 2018 and has loved every minute. She very much enjoyed the caterpillar room where she had a lovely relationship with all the staff. She is now in the 2-3 room and loves all the garden play and singing with the food always being a winner (she quite often has more!) She enjoys performing
the songs she has learnt at school for family members at the weekend. With the world the way it is I love that she is able to spend time with other children and adults as she is a very sociable child. Thank you to all the staff for the care they give I would very much recommend.

Great nursery, never a problem, always trying to help accommodate. Brilliant staff always there to help very welcomingly, my child loves the variety of activities and loves the garden. My child was due to start in April but due to covid, I had to keep at home until September. Nursey were very understand.
Communication is brilliant. Been using the nursey for years with my older children. My child has settled in and loving it.

My child is in the caterpillar room, and he absolutely enjoys his day. He started just after lockdown and was unsettled. However, his keyworkers and the staff in there have really helped him settle now and he leaves nursery with a great big smile.

My son is always happy when he comes home after nursery. He talks about the fun things they did. The nursery has a wide selection of varied meals for the children. The staff are very friendly and approachable. They are very dedicated to the caring and learning of the children.

Been sending my niece here since she was 18 months old for some interaction and it was money well spent. She loves going to school and seeing all the girls, and she knows she gets to sing and dance to baby shark and play in the amazing garden. Considering she started and had no verbal communication
to now having full conversations is incredible, she’s strived more than I ever thought she would, counting to numbers I didn’t even think she knew and singing nursery rhymes in full. She always comes out so excited and can’t wait to go back again, can not wait to send my own daughter. Aswell when the time is right, all the staff are incredible and even throughout lockdown and different restrictions they always kept parents and others up to date and offered support wherever they could. My son is 14 months old, and absolutely loves coming to nursery and always leaves so happy. The staff always give detailed handovers about his day and all the exciting activities they have done that day. A Step Ahead are a fantastic nursery. My daughter loves going and is always excited and happy when she sees her key workers. Three out of four of my children have gone to this nursery and all of them have thrived while here. The staff go above and beyond for each individual, they set tailored targets for each child, and are extremely easy to communicate with. My little brother has attended this setting for one year and loved every moment. Every time he came home from his 'big school' as he used to call it, he wouldn't stop talking about his friends he has made (that I'm sure will last a lifetime), fun activities and the love he received from all of the staff.
I am so sad he will be leaving because I love this nursery too, it has such a family feel and I know that my brother will always remember his memories he has made here. Thank you to the whole team, you are outstanding.

My daughter started the nursery in December 19 in the 3-5's room and apart from the disruption of Covid my experience has been really great. My daughter has made lovely relationships with the girls in the room and it's so nice because everyone knows who she is when we are greeted at the gate in the
morning. Communication is great and covid has for sure changed the way the nursery is run but it has been handled great and my initial concerns of her returning quickly disappeared. My daughter is thriving and bounces in every day and for me, this is the only peace of mind I need. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a warm, nurturing environment with professional, warm and friendly staff.

My daughter loved her time in the 2-3 room. They always did such lovely creative things and her key worker was friendly and easy to talk to!
During COVID lockdown I was able to ask for ideas in order to support my daughter's learning while nursery was closed.
During pick up they always provided
me with detailed information about her day and update the app fairly regularly.
My daughter has now moved up to the preschool room (age 3-4) and I look forward to another lovely year of creativity, fun and social skills that my daughter will experience.
The setting is lovely. The inside rooms and layout works well and the outside areas are big and full of lovely equipment for the children.

My daughter currently attends Step Ahead Nursery and has done since July 2018.
Leaving my daughter was the hardest thing I could possibly do, but the care and attention from all the ladies at the nursery made the whole experience for me a lot easier! Needless to say, my daughter loves attending and
is coming on leaps and bounds. The activities she does inside and out, and the fun she has is always explained to us through her excitement when we collect.
Overall, I'm very happy with Step Ahead, and the way they have dealt with the Covid situation, with minimum effect to the children, is commendable.
A particular favourite activity of our daughter is jumping the puddles in the garden, in her wellies! This is mentioned daily!

My little boy was at the nursery from the age of 9-months and I always felt comfortable knowing that he was in a great environment with caring and friendly staff looking after him. I saw him really progress when he went moved up to the 2-3 age room and his speech, fine motor skills and general learning
really improved. He got to get involved in lots of activities each day and always came home happy after a busy day. The staff in the 2-3 age group room were always attentive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything you have done for my little boy.

When looking for a good nursery I always look at it from my child's perspective. The staff are always friendly with a smile on there face's. All staff are so helpful in any question's you may have. Which I found useful as I liked to ask how my daughter got on in the day. The cleanliness of the nursery.
It's always well kept and looked clean!. The space they have to play around in. There were lots of toys and play corner which my daughter loved!. Also the safety of the childproof doors. Where I knew my child couldn't get out and into the road. The garden is a lovely space for the children to run around in. My daughter loved the play shed which they did lots of role play. Overall our experience with this nursery was a happy one to remember. My daughter always came out full of smiles. And highly recommend A step Ahead Nursery.
