Lancing Day Nursery & Pre-school

My little boy has developed a wonderful bond with his key person and has truly flourished during his time here. I placed my trust in this nursery to care for and support my child, and they have exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and support they have shown him.

It has been a wonderful journey at the nursery, we're very pleased with the support our child was given throughout her nursery days. Great staff! Our child appears to have gained a lot of confidence. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We have been so happy with the Lancing Nursery. Our daughter needed some extra settling-in sessions before starting and the team were so accommodating and tried every trick they knew to make her feel happy being away from me for the first time. Since starting, our daughter has become so much more confident in herself, and in chattering and we have noticed a great improvement in her willingness to try new foods. She loves her time at nursery and goes in with a smile on her face. The team have been amazing, so calm, and knowledgeable and you can tell they really love what they do. The management team are fantastic and quick to answer any questions, and the app that is used is really handy to keep track of how the day has gone. I love the open days that the nursery does as I feel it is a great opportunity to get to know the staff who are supporting me on my parenting journey.

his speech has improved, and is always so happy, tired and had the best day when we pick him up. I will always recommend this nursery to everyone!

Staff are so amazing and friendly. My son started in September and transitioned very easily and loves going to nursery. He always comes home shattered so it shows how much of a busy and fun time he's been having! Can't fault the nursery and they are always quick when replying to emails and communication is excellent. The food menus are also excellent.

Lancing Day Nursery has become so important for our family having moved down to Lancing last year. The staff and facilities are excellent, and we love the community feel of the hub. Our youngest child will be joining early next year, and it's so nice to feel confident that we'll have such great support.

The team are so friendly and amazing! Really considerate of my child's needs. I love the fact you can see how my child is getting on via the app and also that they take the time to give you feedback on the day when you go to collect them.

We are extremely happy that our 22-month-old goes to this nursery. We can't fault the facilities and the staff are so committed and passionate about what they do. They really nurture each and every child and cater to individual needs. They've really helped our son flourish and develop bonds with all staff on the Baby Snug team. Communication from the management team is excellent, thorough and really well coordinated. They really take all the heavy lifting off the parents with their streamlined approach and, I feel, are always coming up with new ways to improve. Couldn't wish for more. Excited about moving up to Toddler Den next year.

A massive thank you to all the hard work the staff puts in every single day. It can't be easy but they do an excellent job at looking after these children and it doesn't go unseen.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 1 year old. He has now left and started school. My son loved his time here and would always look forward to going. I found the staff friendly and always willing to help. My son built positive relationships with some of the staff members which I know he is going to miss. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a small establishment that caters for your children's individual needs.

The initial meeting and subsequent meeting with key workers prior to starting were two of the most positive interactions during her time there - they were knowledgeable, caring and focused on development. The nursery team typically greeted our child in a happy manner. Often we would pick our child up and be underwhelmed with the handover. The beach school was well received and nice to see the children leave the setting to learn. Although we got some updates via the app about development, there was a 1:1 parents' day meeting that was well led by their key worker - it would have been nice to have this more than once in the 14 months. The setting was run down especially the outside space but children often outside to enjoy the fresh air. Disappointed that take-home drawings etc were left to the child to collect and screw up in their bag, offered to bring in a folder. A couple of episodes of potential allergy food given. An incident with injury not documented or handed over.

My daughter loves to go to nursery now but when she started nursery she didn't like to go in. The staff are so good and handle her with love and care, especially her key worker. My daughter loves her and of course, she treats her so well that’s why she loves to go to nursery. Overall all the staff are so good and my daughter learns so much. Definitely, my younger daughter will join soon because she loves this place.

We are super impressed by this nursery and they are incredibly receptive and positive to feedback. Our daughter is in preschool and came up from Toddlers last year. Recently we had a bout of behavioural issues that spiked which was incredibly upsetting for us as parents and we worked hard personally to tweak things to accommodate and work with her to understand feelings. I spoke to the manager to ask how we could work together to support her and she came up with some great tools, kept in regular contact with us, encouraged more positive language with staff to eliminate ‘bad day’ and ‘ not good day’ the staff were briefed and on board to support our child and we were matching similar techniques at home. It’s a result a he has really improved and is feeling happier in herself. The staff take an interest in the children’s hobbies and interests, always super friendly and approachable. The manager is a great leader for this team. The only feedback I would say is more pictures and updates.

We love the Lancing Nursery family and have both our children attending currently. The staff are very thoughtful and kind. Our daughter took her very first independent steps this week in the baby snug and her teachers took the time to video this so we could share the experience too. Our son loves being outdoors, getting his hands dirty in the sand pit and playing with blocks and this is encouraged at the nursery too. We are very grateful for the positive experience both our children are having here currently, and it gives us confidence that whilst we go to work our children are safe.

Such an amazing setting, large outdoor space and supportive staff. Fresh homemade meals every day. My daughter has loved every minute of being there and is sad to now leave and go off to school. We have made so many friendships.

It is so reassuring to know they care about the well-being of the children under their care and are willing to adapt on a child-by-child basis.

Great nursery. Always keeping the children busy with educational learning and no screen time. My son absolutely loves one staff member in particular and gets so excited to see her in the morning. It makes the drop-off so much nicer knowing he is with someone he loves.
