Lancing Day Nursery & Pre-school

Lovely nursery and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend this nursery to friends and family. I know my niece will be very sad to leave when she is off to school, and I cannot thank the staff enough for all their help.

She tells me everything that she has done which shows me how occupied she is during the day. The staff keep me informed and updated of any concerns as well as what she has done that day, such a lovely bunch. The food menu and quality is brilliant and the manager is always available and makes a point of checking with me that everything is going ok. I am so pleased with everything about this nursery and how well they look after the children. Puts my mind at ease. A big thank you to them all.

Lovely friendly service, always have time to talk about my child’s day. Both my children go here and they have always had a very enjoyable time and have progressed well educationally. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Staff always friendly and informative. I believe they have bonded with my Grandaughter and know her well. They care for her and are aware and sympathetic of her likes and dislikes. She has been at the nursery since she was quite small and they have helped her to explore new areas of play as well as become accustomed to a routine outside of her home which will be useful in the future when she reaches school age.

Both my children go to this nursery and they absolutely love it here. They always come out so happy. It puts my mind at ease knowing they are having a lovely time. The staff are all so lovely and friendly too.

Really love the nursery, especially the staff team, they are so warm and friendly put me at ease and my son loves his key worker. Love the activities they do, the massive garden and the communication is great. Thank you for all you do for my son.

My daughter absolutely loves it here. I feel at ease leaving her also. The staff are so friendly and easy to chat to, you can tell instantly that they really do care about all of the children. There are lots of different activities that the children can do and a nice outside area. I couldn't recommend A Step Ahead more; they are fantastic.

Amazing nursery for my daughter. She started when she just turned one and I was worried she would be unsettled. But she did amazingly well thanks to the staff support. She is always so excited to meet her little friends there and has got so much to do. The outside area is massive and very well organized. Staff are lovely and very hands-on with her. I would 100% recommend the nursery.

This is our first nursery for our child and our daughter loves it. She is always saying very good words about her teachers, the staff are very friendly and we are very pleased that our daughter is attending this nursery.

He is so excited to go in every day and has formed a real bond with his key workers, and I also feel as a parent that they are really good with communication and we have built up a great relationship with the team. He has learnt so much since he has been there, and I would highly recommend.

My daughter started at A Step Ahead at the beginning of September and settled straight away, I was nervous at first that she wouldn't want to go and would cry for every drop-off but she warmed to her key worker straight away and was excited to go. Every time we mention the nursery, she gets so excited. We have seen such a development from her in such a short time of going. I love getting the updates for what she has been up to during the day and how she is getting on. She is always fed and looked after so well at A Step Ahead, I can't wait to send her in for an extra day in the future, so she can spend more time playing and learning.

My daughter is 19 months old. She runs into the nursery with a huge smile on her face and leaves happy as well. All the staff are very professional and caring towards her. I really like the activities they do in her room and being updated on parent zone about her day. The garden area is a little bit small but I have been assured they sometimes share the bigger gardens.

Lovely nursery. My son absolutely loves going and always has done. He has a lovely bond with so many of the staff and they really create a home from home for him. Efficient way of working and reasonable prices. All-round a great nursery.

What a lovely sightseeing our grandson coming out of nursery looking so happy. Since starting nursery, he’s speech has come on so much and his love for singing and dancing is celebrated. The staff that look after our grandson do an amazing job and they should be very proud of themselves.

My child attended the caterpillar room and loved every minute. The staff were particularly good at listening to my wishes and following through with them when able. The handovers were always very informative, so I never felt like I missed out on any of my child's development. Their online system is brilliant as we can log in and see pictures and check their development.

And the food must be good as she only ever eats at nursery.

My son is in the 2-3 room and he is flourishing. The girls are amazing and very caring towards him. We really enjoy seeing his progress and how much fun he is having via Iconnect. Keep up the fantastic work you all do.

I had an amazing show around by the wonderful manager. The nursery had a homely vibe to it. Perfect for my nine-month-year-old twins. All the staff seemed lovely and welcoming. The manager spoke about the nursery in great detail. I will be sending my twins to this nursery and would highly recommend this nursery to my friends.

My daughter started this wonderful nursery in October/November time of last year and I would never look back. She was in caterpillar when she started and she loved it. The staff were great with her and me they would let me know about my daughters' progress, which was very reassuring she is now in the bumblebee and she can’t wait to get there she goes running in. All the staff are wonderful and make you feel really at ease. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family. Well done to all the staff at A Step Ahead, carry on with the great work.
