Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village

My daughter is always very keen to get to the nursery. She appears to learn lots of new skills (eating, dressing) and her vocal improvements when she has returned. The staff are really friendly, and I have no concerns as to her safety and care. I am pleased with the service so far and look forward to seeing her in the setting when we're allowed.

My daughter has been going to Happy Days for around 2 months now. She absolutely loves it and has been coming home with smiles and artwork. I was worried about returning to work as she has only just turned a year old and, being 'a lockdown baby' had not had much chance to socialise with other children. However, I feel much more confident now that I know that she will be well taken care of and is having fun and stimulating mornings with the team. She has bonded really well with the staff, especially her key workers. I feel she is getting a better experience than I could provide at home and I like in the afternoon she can just relax and play with me or my partner when we are doing the childcare. Love the daily reports, private Facebook photos and she is better fed than I am by the team!

I highly recommend the Happy Days Nursery in Cheswick Village. The team looked after our two children superbly over the last couple of years and particularly recently. In each year group, our children were clearly happy and well looked after and did lots of different activities. The whole staff really bent over backwards to help when we had specific requirements. I was recently impressed again with parents' evening, clearly they had an extremely good understanding of our children's development and we had an in-depth conversation which helped us back at home. Thank you!

The nursery staff have been fantastic, adapting daily to our child's needs. We are kept updated with everything she eats, drinks and does during the day, which provides reassurance overall. Her ever changing sleep and milk patterns can be challenging but the staff take it in their stride and always tend to her needs. A great little nursery with a warm and caring feel.

Day one the staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village have been utterly wonderful! My daughter has settled so well under their care and unbelievably even sleeps there! My ‘lockdown’ baby who has contact napped, co-sleeps, breastfed to sleep and was not used to being held by anyone else other then myself and nanny now happily goes to nursery and is thriving! One member of staff specifically has gone out of her way to reassure me, any request has been implemented, nothing is too much trouble and more importantly my daughter has quickly formed a strong bond with her. This member of staff's patience and understanding of the difficulties settling children in this new Covid-19 world is just amazing. I’m so pleased I chose to send my daughter to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village and so pleased we have found the staff member and the rest of the team.

Great to see photos on Facebook of daily nursery life and I like how it is private for parents at the nursery only. I feel pretty well informed as I get regular email updates which were something that was really lacking at my eldest child's last nursery. Glad we made the switch for our youngest to Happy Days.

Our one-year-old and three-year-old have only been there a few months, but I just wanted to write a short note to say how professional and friendly all of the staff here are working of course now under the most trying of circumstances. Our two have both settled in really easily, and we've been really impressed with every aspect of the nursery and its teaching.

I am extremely pleased with how well my daughter settled into Explorers. The staff in the room are very caring and welcoming. My daughter always went in with a great smile on her face knowing she always had so much fun to look forward too. She was always learning with fun, new activities, and her language progressed rapidly. Now she is in Adventures, the same level of care has continued throughout. I always look forward to receiving her artwork.

The whole team at Happy Days Cheswick are fantastic particularly in Explorers Everyone is really approachable and has ensured that my daughter's care has been tailored to her needs and any requests I have made. It is really useful to get feedback at the end of the day particularly with the written summary and it is lovely to see the variety of activities they have taken part in throughout the day. Everyone I have encountered at the nursery has instilled confidence in me that we have chosen the right nursery for our needs. What a fab team.

I am really pleased with Happy Days nursery. I was quite nervous and had some personal concerns over my daughter starting nursery but the manager listened and reassured me extremely well. The staff are all welcoming, introduce themselves and always take the time to acknowledge my little girl, even when they’re not working directly with her. They do lots of great activities and the room and equipment seem to be in lovely condition. I couldn’t be more pleased with my child’s development when she’s been here.

My son has been attending since he was one, and always enjoys his time at the nursery. Staff are friendly and approachable. He has been very well cared for. Detailed feedback on my son's development and learning over a period of time is discussed through parent meetings. He is going to school next year, and it would be beneficial to us as parents to understand the activities that tailored for his age and how the nursery can help them to get ready for school.

The nursery is amazing and the staff are always very friendly and have helped me massively in personal aspects of my life also. My twins have progressed a great deal and have learnt so much within the last year. The nursery is very safe and secure at all times.

My son has developed his confidence since starting Happy Days. When he first started, he'd cry on his drop-offs. Now he willingly goes to the staff in his room and waves "bye". That's a testament to the care and attention he gets.

Adventurers two-room is excellent. My daughter is very happy.

All staff are very friendly and give good feedback on the day. Excellent outside space. Good activities inside to do on rainy days.

Our 1 year old son has been going to Happy Days Nursery since he was 8 months old. He loved it from the beginning and we really saw the development in him after he started. All the people that work with him are amazing, but he especially likes his key worker.

My child has been at nursery for over a year. He has really enjoyed the time so far at Happy Days.

We have only tried this nursery so cannot compare with others but we are very pleased overall. Our child is always happy to go and clearly enjoys himself there. They seem to do plenty of activities and tailor them to the child's age. They also offer varied menus cooked by the nursery chef, which is amazing. It is a great relief to be able to go to work knowing our child is well looked after.

At a higher level, management sometimes feels a bit removed, but otherwise good.
