Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village

I would more than recommend Happy Days Cheswick!

It is good value for money although more expensive than some other options in the area.

We are so pleased with our little one’s development and progress at the nursery. She feels welcomed and looks forward to attending now, seeing all her little friends and all the staff looking after her and everyone else. A happy child makes a happy parent!

My daughter gained many skills from happy days, such as speaking English, learned how to help herself with many things, and learned to solve problems. She goes to nursery happy because she knows that she will play, sing, dance, and meet her friends so that she can do new and fun activities with them.

My daughter started at Cheswick Happy Days in March. The staff there are very friendly and welcoming. My daughter has settled in so quickly. She really enjoys attending. They offer a range of fun engaging activities for the children.

Happy Days Cheswick have been brilliant from day 1 of our daughter attending. The nursery environment itself is lovely, there is a great range of activities planned for each day and the staff are so friendly and approachable. Handovers and feedback in person and through the app is always good. I couldn't ask for anything more from them.

The nursery staff are all very friendly helpful and understandable. They’ve been very accommodating and I was very lucky to be able to change my son’s days he attends. This was made very easy and appreciated.

An excellent nursery. I cannot fault the staff or the learning space at all. Our daughter has been attending for almost two years and loves it. Our newborn is already on the waiting list for May 2025.

Fantastic staff who are attentive and know my child well. They provide great care and push my child to grow and learn more. My child has become very independent at this nursery and loves to go there.

Whilst it took a little while to settle, Harry is now having such a brilliant experience at Happy Days in Cheswick Village. He’s so busy every time we collect him and always seems to have lots of fun. We really appreciate how well looked after he is by everyone in his room, especially three staff members.

The standard overall at the nursery is excellent. I have one stand-out moment which was during my son's settling-in period and slightly beyond. I was incredibly anxious about leaving him and probably stayed with him for longer than 'normal' however the staff were so supportive and understanding they made me feel so reassured and that I was leaving him with people who cared. He's been there over a year now and I have nothing but praise for the team and how they look after my son. He loves it there and always seems to have had a great day when he's picked up.

Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old, going through from the baby room to currently being in the pre-school age room. I was breastfeeding when she started and really nervous about her settling in but they really helped with the transition and I quickly felt comfortable leaving her there. The staff are really good, especially one member of staff, in particular, who has been with our daughter in different rooms and always asks us how our daughter is doing. All of the staff give thorough feedback at the end of the day and our daughter talks fondly about the people she sees at nursery. The manager is great and always welcoming, she knows who all the children and parents are and makes me feel comfortable when we arrive there each time. They are really strict with safeguarding and ask you to put your phone away whenever in the nursery which I find really reassuring.

Our son has been going to this nursery for about two years. The care and education he receives is excellent. He thrives there and goes in each morning without even looking back. The staff are very attentive and supportive.

Both my sons and daughter have been to this nursery and can’t praise enough how well the staff and the structure of the nursery are, the brilliant routines with the children, good communication with parents and how loving/caring the staff our to each child! As a mother makes me so happy to leave my child knowing how well they are looked after here! Such a lovely and safe environment for them too. Great nursery for all ages.

We have had both our sons at Happy Days Cheswick since August 2017. Our children have totally different personalities and needs. Our eldest was always very independent, confident, and happy at nursery. He flourished and his hobbies and interests were encouraged. He arrived one day to find that the nursery had purchased a football goal for him and his friend to use. He was more than ready for school. Our youngest enjoyed nursery until the day his brother left for school. He is more reserved, not confident in new situations, and had real issues being separated from us in the morning. His key worker and other adults in the room went out of their way to set up activities to help settle him in in the morning. He always left nursery happy. The nursery supported our concerns with his behaviour and arranged observations and we're extremely dignified and discreet with handovers. They treated both our boys exactly how they needed to be, as individuals. Incredible manager and staff.

My child started at 1 year old and has thrived and grown in confidence. She is now prepared to start her new journey at school after attending Happy Days. The staff are amazing and build a great bond with the children helping them overcome any hurdles.

My daughter loves being in such a fun space with her friends. She looks forward to seeing the staff, especially her key worker who she absolutely adores. The nursery has a fun feel and a warmth which as a parent fills me with confidence that my daughter is growing in a great environment.

The menu is fantastic, well balanced and varied. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We are so pleased we chose Happy Days Cheswick for our daughter. The staff are simply amazing, very friendly and always met with a smile. Great range of activities on offer and our daughter loved the outdoor garden space. We particularly loved the variety of food cooked for the children and the special excursions to the local area.
