Happy Days Nursery - Cheswick Village is a purpose-built nursery located next to Wallscourt Farm Academy and within the retail and residential complex of Cheswick Village.

The safe and warm nursery environment allows children to develop and play, surrounded by caring experienced staff who are attentive and fully focused on each child's individual needs and routines.

The age-appropriate Explorer and Adventurer rooms allow free flow access to the spacious outside areas, which provide endless scope for children to create and build their own miniature worlds and environments.

The on-site chef provides fresh and nutritious meals to support the healthy growth and development of each child. The children can also be involved in food preparation and learn how to be independent at mealtimes. Special diets can be catered for.

My daughter loves being at Happy Dayes Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Villiage! The staff are always happy to see her and really friendly. Everyone is kind and looks after her. My little girl absolutely loves coming to Happy Days. She is familiar with all the children and staff and often talks about them at home. She has met her best friends through nursery. She comes home happy when she's not too tired from all the playing! I can't really comment on the cleanliness and activities
as I've only been in the nursery once due to Covid and every time I ask my little girl what she's done today she says she 'played'. Overall, lovely nursery, lovely staff and I would definitely recommend.

We moved our daughter to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village due to house move. We were worried it might take her a while to adjust. However, she settled so quickly and well, and loves going to nursery every day! The staff are so personal, friendly and creative. My daughter gets great
care not just from her key workers but every staff at nursery. I especially love all the activities they do that support children’s development and lovely outdoor sensory garden which is baby-friendly too. Daily photo/video updates via secure group makes me smile every day, knowing my daughter is having a great time at nursery! The staff also organised an open day around Christmas to get family/siblings involved, which is very sweet and thoughtful. Excellent nursery!

Our daughter is moving on from Happy Days Nursery & Preschool shortly and it’s no exaggeration to say we’re gutted that she’s leaving! They have been a fantastic nursery that has been, in no small way, responsible for our little girl becoming a confident and sociable toddler. The staff genuinely care
and come up with constant and creative ways to occupy and develop the little ones. We know that our daughter will really miss Happy Days, but they’ll always be a huge part of her early years! Thank you.

We are delighted with Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - our children have both loved it there and it is fantastic to see the wide range of activities that are on offer each day. Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village has played an integral part in my daughter’s development. My daughter has attended Happy Days since she was 9 months old (she is now 3.5 years) which show how pleased we have been with the nursery.
The staff (especially her key worker who we have been
fortunate to keep throughout her time at the nursery) are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating to the needs of both the children and parents.
The nursery setting is so lovely with lots of open space indoors and the garden is the perfect environment for the children to freely and safely run around.
I especially love how the nursery choose different topics/festivals to teach the children, which encourages diversity and educates them in a creative manner.
I would highly recommend Happy Days Cheswick to anyone in search of a nursery for their little one(s).

My 19-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to nursery at Happy Days. So much so that when I drop her off, she doesn't even look back to wave me goodbye!
The staff are attentive and very friendly. They nurture her creativity and communication every single day. In fact, my daughter often comes
home and teaches me the Makaton sign language she's learnt that day.
Parents are given a daily face-to-face 'debrief' of the child's day, so I'm fully informed about what my daughter has been up to. I can also log in to a secure group, to see pictures of her during the day (I know other nurseries have more advanced ways of doing this such as apps, but I'm assured this is something the nursery is looking into). There are always really lovely activities and weekly themes, and my daughter frequently brings home things she's made.
Overall, I highly recommend Happy Days.

Both of my children currently attend Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village (ages 1 and 3 plus). The activities, games and free play during the day have kept them engaged and happy. The staff do help and support any of our special requests, which is great. The feedback sessions at the end
of the day or are great, at times I get printed photos of our little girl engaging in some of the activities which are really nice. Most importantly my kids do look forward to attending Happy Days and it’s nice to know that they are in a safe place.

Our son was born very prematurely, so we have been concerned about his development. The staff have provided him with so much care and support, and have been great partners in helping him reach his developmental milestones. Both of my children have attended this local setting up until last month. The nursery and preschool team work hard to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, with key workers ensuring the children are encouraged to develop their personalities, build friendships and social skills, and be prepared
for school as they go up through the years, based on their individual capabilities. They have a diverse programme that’s culturally aware. They have recently invested in fabulous new outdoor areas for the children that provide even more opportunities for learning through play.

My daughter is always very keen to get to the nursery. She appears to learn lots of new skills (eating, dressing) and her vocal improvements when she has returned. The staff are really friendly, and I have no concerns as to her safety and care. I am pleased with the service so far and look forward to

My daughter has been going to Happy Days for around 2 months now. She absolutely loves it and has been coming home with smiles and artwork. I was worried about returning to work as she has only just turned a year old and, being 'a lockdown baby' had not had much chance to socialise with other children.
However, I feel much more confident now that I know that she will be well taken care of and is having fun and stimulating mornings with the team. She has bonded really well with the staff, especially her key workers. I feel she is getting a better experience than I could provide at home and I like in the afternoon she can just relax and play with me or my partner when we are doing the childcare. Love the daily reports, private Facebook photos and she is better fed than I am by the team!

I highly recommend the Happy Days Nursery in Cheswick Village. The team looked after our two children superbly over the last couple of years and particularly recently. In each year group, our children were clearly happy and well looked after and did lots of different activities. The whole staff really
bent over backwards to help when we had specific requirements. I was recently impressed again with parents' evening, clearly they had an extremely good understanding of our children's development and we had an in-depth conversation which helped us back at home. Thank you!

The nursery staff have been fantastic, adapting daily to our child's needs. We are kept updated with everything she eats, drinks and does during the day, which provides reassurance overall. Her ever changing sleep and milk patterns can be challenging but the staff take it in their stride and always
tend to her needs. A great little nursery with a warm and caring feel.

Choosing childcare for my daughter whilst in lockdown was such a daunting experience. The anxiety around leaving her in an environment unknown to us all and without the reassurance of settling in sessions, was so overwhelming!
Day one the staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village
have been utterly wonderful! My daughter has settled so well under their care and unbelievably even sleeps there! My ‘lockdown’ baby who has contact napped, co-sleeps, breastfed to sleep and was not used to being held by anyone else other then myself and nanny now happily goes to nursery and is thriving! One member of staff specifically has gone out of her way to reassure me, any request has been implemented, nothing is too much trouble and more importantly my daughter has quickly formed a strong bond with her. This member of staff's patience and understanding of the difficulties settling children in this new Covid-19 world is just amazing. I’m so pleased I chose to send my daughter to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village and so pleased we have found the staff member and the rest of the team.

Really pleased with the nursery. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My daughter loves going in and the staff and Management are always friendly when they greet us at the door. She's always coming home with artwork and I get regular feedback about what she gets up to day to day.
The menu is great and
she always eats everything on offer.
Great to see photos on Facebook of daily nursery life and I like how it is private for parents at the nursery only. I feel pretty well informed as I get regular email updates which were something that was really lacking at my eldest child's last nursery. Glad we made the switch for our youngest to Happy Days.

I am extremely pleased with how well my daughter settled into Explorers. The staff in the room are very caring and welcoming. My daughter always went in with a great smile on her face knowing she always had so much fun to look forward too. She was always learning with fun, new activities, and her language
progressed rapidly. Now she is in Adventures, the same level of care has continued throughout. I always look forward to receiving her artwork.

The whole team at Happy Days Cheswick are fantastic particularly in Explorers Everyone is really approachable and has ensured that my daughter's care has been tailored to her needs and any requests I have made. It is really useful to get feedback at the end of the day particularly with the written summary
and it is lovely to see the variety of activities they have taken part in throughout the day. Everyone I have encountered at the nursery has instilled confidence in me that we have chosen the right nursery for our needs. What a fab team.

My name is Shai, and I’ve worked in nurseries for just over 6 years. I started as a level 3 practitioner, then went on to be a Room Manager, and worked my way up into management. I have a passion for early years and supporting children to learn and develop through holistic play. This is such an important age to ensure the children are ready for their transition to school. I have undertaken a variety of training, such as safeguarding, first aid paediatric, first aid at work and food hygiene.


We work very closely with our families to ensure we are supporting the children’s development at home and within the nursery
