Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village

My grandson looks forward to going to nursery enjoying all the activities provided and learning basic numbers and alphabet ready for starting school in September.

From the minute we walked into Happy Days the manager made us feel so welcome. It is a very unknown and daunting experience sending your child to nursery for the first time but we felt at ease straight away. Our son has almost been at Happy Days for a year now and his development has been extraordinary. The experiences and learning they do is great. The team all work so hard and it shows! Thank you for making our nursery experience so far so easy and seamless. It helps the Mum guilt to know your child is having a great time.

My daughter is coming to the end of her time at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool, moving on to primary school in September. She has been there for around two years and thoroughly enjoyed it. She has, with the help of the team, developed her speaking, pronunciation and attitude to others really well. All of the staff are superb and it gives us real peace of mind knowing that she is in a fun, safe environment. There is a reason there is such a big waiting list! Highly recommended.

We have two children at Happy Days and have always been very happy with the service. The children are happy and enjoy going. The staff are warm, friendly and supportive. Our children are always happy with the food and activities they do.

I always notice how the nursery is warm, welcoming, bright and clean, with a display of excellent quality items for the children to play with. There is always a member of staff with a smile to greet you, whatever time of day! The nursery always seems to ooze a positive vibe even when they are short-staffed. This shows the team work well together, and this comes across very well. All I can say the manager is an excellent manager of the team and brings out the best in them and the children, even in these hard times. I love the way the children are respected and spoken to - my granddaughter has excelled in her vocabulary and social skills for her age - what patient role models in early learning to have! The children at this nursery are very lucky! Thank you!

The staff are caring and have nurtured them, looking for ways to entertain their individual interests. The staff are always friendly and helpful and have been particularly flexible with arrangements as we have had to move out of the area. My children have formed strong bonds with the staff and other children, which has been enabled by the warm and caring environment within the nursery. Thank you to all the staff.

Amazing nursery. My daughter loves it here. The staff are lonely and so welcoming. The menu and food provided is varied which she enjoys. The activities offered are brilliant. My daughter is well cared for here, which makes it easier to leave.

My family have been coming to happy days since 2019 and I have never had a single issue there. Personally, I think all the staff are lovely/friendly and extremely helpful. I could not sing their praises enough. Thank you for everything.

I’m satisfied with the services, my son does not complain about anyone. And I appreciate the fact that he now eats his lunch, even though it’s not so much but that’s progress. He’s always happy when it’s time to go to nursery.

My daughter loves being at Happy Dayes Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Villiage! The staff are always happy to see her and really friendly. Everyone is kind and looks after her. Her development has really improved at nursery and she's always telling me about her day. I would recommend Happy Days to any parent.

My little girl absolutely loves coming to Happy Days. She is familiar with all the children and staff and often talks about them at home. She has met her best friends through nursery. She comes home happy when she's not too tired from all the playing! I can't really comment on the cleanliness and activities as I've only been in the nursery once due to Covid and every time I ask my little girl what she's done today she says she 'played'. Overall, lovely nursery, lovely staff and I would definitely recommend.

We moved our daughter to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village due to house move. We were worried it might take her a while to adjust. However, she settled so quickly and well, and loves going to nursery every day! The staff are so personal, friendly and creative. My daughter gets great care not just from her key workers but every staff at nursery. I especially love all the activities they do that support children’s development and lovely outdoor sensory garden which is baby-friendly too. Daily photo/video updates via secure group makes me smile every day, knowing my daughter is having a great time at nursery! The staff also organised an open day around Christmas to get family/siblings involved, which is very sweet and thoughtful. Excellent nursery!

Our daughter is moving on from Happy Days Nursery & Preschool shortly and it’s no exaggeration to say we’re gutted that she’s leaving! They have been a fantastic nursery that has been, in no small way, responsible for our little girl becoming a confident and sociable toddler. The staff genuinely care and come up with constant and creative ways to occupy and develop the little ones. We know that our daughter will really miss Happy Days, but they’ll always be a huge part of her early years! Thank you.

We are delighted with Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - our children have both loved it there and it is fantastic to see the wide range of activities that are on offer each day. The staff are enthusiastic, communicative and friendly, and we always get a thorough update at the end of each day no matter how busy they are. We love seeing photos of what the kids have been up to as well.

Both of my children currently attend Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village (ages 1 and 3 plus). The activities, games and free play during the day have kept them engaged and happy. The staff do help and support any of our special requests, which is great. The feedback sessions at the end of the day or are great, at times I get printed photos of our little girl engaging in some of the activities which are really nice. Most importantly my kids do look forward to attending Happy Days and it’s nice to know that they are in a safe place.

My daughter really enjoys attending this nursery and has built up amazing relationships with all of the team, especially her key worker. The range of activities on offer is great and they accommodate her dietary needs brilliantly.

Our son was born very prematurely, so we have been concerned about his development. The staff have provided him with so much care and support, and have been great partners in helping him reach his developmental milestones. Aside from that, they obviously love what they do and care about the kids a great deal. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Both of my children have attended this local setting up until last month. The nursery and preschool team work hard to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, with key workers ensuring the children are encouraged to develop their personalities, build friendships and social skills, and be prepared for school as they go up through the years, based on their individual capabilities. They have a diverse programme that’s culturally aware. They have recently invested in fabulous new outdoor areas for the children that provide even more opportunities for learning through play.
