Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Cheswick Village

All the staff within the nursery are very friendly and always give very informative handovers and encourage the child that I care for to tell me about her day too. The children are always really happy and engaged.

I find all the staff at nursery very kind and engage with the young people very well and my twins are always very happy to go to nursery.

I find the nursery has made a big impact on my son, he has developed well with his social and speech skills and girls are helpful and full of information. My two children have made a big improvement from since they both started at the nursery.

Our boy is always cared for, I would go as far as to say loved. Feedback is always full and comprehensive and I am confident that they are always on the ball and know what's going on.

There's nothing negative to say apart from higher fees than nurseries around the area.

My son has been attending since before this site was opened by travelling to Bradley Stoke. He is now ready to go to school in September and I feel that his time at Happy Days has been invaluable. Though staff retention is difficult my son has had some key role models in the staff that have worked there, and in particular, they have helped with key milestones in his development and have always been encouraging. I'm not sure how the smart start programme features in this final preschool year and it would be beneficial to understand how this features in a setting where both rooms have children aged 2+, but my son is a content, well rounded individual and has made some wonderful friendships. He will miss this setting, but I feel he is prepared for the future.

I am really happy with our experience of Happy days Cheswick. My son really enjoys coming to nursery each session. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly.

Enjoy hearing about group time, seeing the children who listen well at book reading time.

I would just like to say all the staff who were involved with my daughter's care helped us with her development, she learned to speak and was potty trained by the age of 2. I have nothing but admiration for the managers too, all my requests were all met right up to the end of our time at the nursery. Even the catering staff assisted with my fussy eater. I have all the praise for this nursery and will always recommend to my family and friends. Thank you all for all your hard work looking after my little girl, I really appreciate it.

Happy Days Nursery - Cheswick is an excellent nursery. The staff truly care about the children and put a huge amount of effort into planning new and exciting activities for the children every day. The settling in process works really well and the key person approach really helps with this. Our daughter loves the staff and gets excited when you tell her it's a nursery day. The management team are very supportive in relation to the individual needs of the children. The nursery also makes a huge amount of effort to involve parents with stay and play sessions and open days along with monthly newsletters. It is so good to know that our daughter is happy, safe and around such wonderful people. I couldn't recommend it more.

My son seems to enjoy the food and eats things at nursery he won't touch at home! Menu seems varied and smells good to me! A lovely nursery. Thank you.

My son started at the nursery at 11 months old and has now been at the nursery for 10 months. He has loved the nursery since day 1 which was put down to the friendly staff and the excellent facilities. Upon collection, we are also provided with detailed feedback from the staff about his day, including activities, food/drink, nappy changes, naps and things that he has said or done. The staff are professional and yet reliable and happy to address any concerns I might have. They are serious about any medical conditions and met with me to put a medical care plan in place after my son had a febrile convulsion at home. I am confident that he is properly cared for and will be in safe hands if he were to ever to have a convulsion whilst at nursery. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends and family: My son looks forward to nursery and clearly loves his time here.

My daughter has been well looked after by everyone at Happy Days. She particularly loves her key worker and settled in well from day one. We are extremely happy with the service we received.

New nursery, very impressed, some teething problems as you would expect with a new nursery, primarily around menus however staff have quickly responded to feedback and changed menus. Can't fault the care received by the children. Room staff are excellent and the activities show real imagination. Me and my kids love this nursery!!

I found the pre-school environment to be clean, modern but with traditional, wooden toys, which I thought was a great learning environment. I was not disappointed the staff are second to none without exceptions, friendly, engaging, helpful, kind and caring to the parents and children alike. Although we as parents have been a challenge in that we keep having to change our child's day care arrangements as our move to another area has been fraught with delays, the staff have been very flexible and accommodating to our needs for our child's day care in a word excellent.
