Happy Days Nursery - Cheswick Village is a purpose-built nursery located next to Wallscourt Farm Academy and within the retail and residential complex of Cheswick Village.

The safe and warm nursery environment allows children to develop and play, surrounded by caring experienced staff who are attentive and fully focused on each child's individual needs and routines.

The age-appropriate Explorer and Adventurer rooms allow free flow access to the spacious outside areas, which provide endless scope for children to create and build their own miniature worlds and environments.

The on-site chef provides fresh and nutritious meals to support the healthy growth and development of each child. The children can also be involved in food preparation and learn how to be independent at mealtimes. Special diets can be catered for.

Staff work hard and are engaged.
Management are easy to approach and talk to.
Our son is well settled and looks forward to nursery.
Enjoy hearing about group time, seeing the children who listen well at book reading time.

I would just like to say all the staff who were involved with my daughter's care helped us with her development, she learned to speak and was potty trained by the age of 2. I have nothing but admiration for the managers too, all my requests were all met right up to the end of our time at the nursery.
Even the catering staff assisted with my fussy eater. I have all the praise for this nursery and will always recommend to my family and friends. Thank you all for all your hard work looking after my little girl, I really appreciate it.

Happy Days Nursery - Cheswick is an excellent nursery. The staff truly care about the children and put a huge amount of effort into planning new and exciting activities for the children every day. The settling in process works really well and the key person approach really helps with this. Our daughter
loves the staff and gets excited when you tell her it's a nursery day. The management team are very supportive in relation to the individual needs of the children. The nursery also makes a huge amount of effort to involve parents with stay and play sessions and open days along with monthly newsletters. It is so good to know that our daughter is happy, safe and around such wonderful people. I couldn't recommend it more.

My son has been attending Happy Days, Cheswick for 2 1/2 years. His keyworkers have been good and I like that he has been chosen them based on his obvious preference. I love the open days. Great added extra allowing parents to spend time at nursery playing too.
The activities for Halloween/fireworks
week have been great. Also, love the role play areas that are set up and changed frequently.
My son seems to enjoy the food and eats things at nursery he won't touch at home! Menu seems varied and smells good to me! A lovely nursery. Thank you.

The care in the rooms is outstanding. The room staff are very professional and you can tell they really care for your little ones.
Where Happy Days lets itself down is poor communication from management. Management are also unapproachable. The outside space is satisfactory but all man made. There are
no plans to offer field trips or forest schools even though Stoke Park woods are 5 minutes walk away.
All activities that are done are mornings only so if your child goes for afternoons only, they lose out.
On top of this, there are other nurseries in the area which offer all the above and more at a lower price.

My son started at the nursery at 11 months old and has now been at the nursery for 10 months. He has loved the nursery since day 1 which was put down to the friendly staff and the excellent facilities. Upon collection, we are also provided with detailed feedback from the staff about his day, including
activities, food/drink, nappy changes, naps and things that he has said or done. The staff are professional and yet reliable and happy to address any concerns I might have. They are serious about any medical conditions and met with me to put a medical care plan in place after my son had a febrile convulsion at home. I am confident that he is properly cared for and will be in safe hands if he were to ever to have a convulsion whilst at nursery. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends and family: My son looks forward to nursery and clearly loves his time here.

New nursery, very impressed, some teething problems as you would expect with a new nursery, primarily around menus however staff have quickly responded to feedback and changed menus. Can't fault the care received by the children. Room staff are excellent and the activities show real imagination. Me

I found the pre-school environment to be clean, modern but with traditional, wooden toys, which I thought was a great learning environment. I was not disappointed the staff are second to none without exceptions, friendly, engaging, helpful, kind and caring to the parents and children alike. Although
we as parents have been a challenge in that we keep having to change our child's day care arrangements as our move to another area has been fraught with delays, the staff have been very flexible and accommodating to our needs for our child's day care in a word excellent.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2024

My name is Shai, and I’ve worked in nurseries for just over 6 years. I started as a level 3 practitioner, then went on to be a Room Manager, and worked my way up into management. I have a passion for early years and supporting children to learn and develop through holistic play. This is such an important age to ensure the children are ready for their transition to school. I have undertaken a variety of training, such as safeguarding, first aid paediatric, first aid at work and food hygiene.


We work very closely with our families to ensure we are supporting the children’s development at home and within the nursery
