Situated in a spacious purpose-built setting, the nursery offers a wide range of activities suitable for children ranging from 3 months to 5 years of age. Conveniently located near Winchester Road (B3354), it is an ideal choice for parents working in the area or commuting. All the practitioners are trained in First Aid and the nursery has specialist SEND staff for children with special educational needs. Additionally, a Family app is in place to keep parents updated throughout your child's day.

Within the nursery, each of the four rooms provides ample space for children to develop motor skills, coordination and engage in academic pursuits. There are also extracurricular activities, such as indoor physical activities like yoga.

The Fair Oak nursery boasts separate, soft gardens for both babies and toddlers, ensuring their safety during outdoor play. I find that the nursery are very accommodating, I have no concerns about approaching the nursery with any requests or concerns and every time I am satisfied with the outcome. The children are taken care of really well and both my children love attending the nursery. The curriculum set out for both my
children are set well against their age and assessed and fed back well. The children get a lot of experiences coming here which I couldn't meet at home.

Both my son and daughter attended nursery here and they both had an enjoyable time. They enjoy the variety of activities offered and take advantage of the big outdoor area. They are both active and enjoy the independence of free flow. The staff are always attentive and I have not had any concerns regarding
their care or safety. I think that the staff turnover has been quite high and staff move rooms a lot so both my children had several key workers. However, this has not led to any problems or concerns.

Bringing our son to Yellow Dot has been one of the best decisions we have made in his upbringing. The staff are professional and always eager to help with questions and explain what our son has been doing throughout the day. His development has come on in leaps and bounds and this is due to his time
at Yellow Dot. Both I and our son's mother are over the moon that he is at this nursery.

My son has been at Yellow Dot Fair Oak since he was 9 months old, he is now close to leaving as he starts school in September. During his time at Yellow Dot Fair Oak, we have received nothing short of an excellent service. I picked Yellow Dot Fair Oak due to its friendly welcoming approach and high
standard of care that is given to all children that attend. The minute you walk into nursery everything engages you and your senses, and everyone knows you and your child, so it has a wonderful family and community feel to it. Members of staff communicate daily and pictures and updates of my son's progress are regular. Staff really put 100% into everything they do with the children. The Manager of Fair Oak has been with Yellow Dot for over 10 years and has done a fantastic job of ensuring that Yellow Dot Fair Oak maintains its family feel and ethos. I can not thank everyone at Yellow Dot Fair Oak enough for all their care over the last few years.

Our child has attended this nursery since babies and we have always found it to be a welcoming environment. Our child has always enjoyed attending and always seems to have had lots of fun when collected. He continues to learn and develop at a good rate. The staff are very friendly and show great affection

Very happy with my son being at Yellow Dot and the support he receives and the updates we get. I would prefer more communication/updates on Tapestry e.g. photographer will be in on a certain date and we have had recent cases of hand, foot and mouth. Other than that we are happy with his care.

I would highly recommend Yellow Dot Fair Oak.
My daughter has been coming to this nursery for over 2 years now and has thrived with confidence both towards children and the staff.
I have found the staff extremely supportive and offer guidance and advice whenever needed.

have regular updates on progress and areas to assist with my child's development.

My child has attends Yellow Dot Fair Oak full time since 9 months old and is just about to leave for school.


She has been well looked after and loved her time there and will be sad to leave this Autumn.


The only criticism I have is that the children should spend more balanced time in each room.

My daughter spent 6 months in babies, toddlers and transition, then nearly 2 years in Kindergarten.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Clare is passionate and committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for all the children in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. The nursery follows the children's interests, allowing them to learn, explore, and develop to their full potential.


Clare joined Bright Horizons as a Senior Nursery Nurse and was later promoted to Room Manager, then Deputy Manager. She then worked across the group in a support role. Clare loves music and often leads music sessions across all nurseries, delivering music to both the children and the team. Singing and dancing are her passions!

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Alice joined Bright Horizons as a newly qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse after finishing college. She began working in the Baby Room and quickly progressed to Senior Nursery Nurse. Seeking a new challenge, she moved to the Preschool room and became the Room Manager.


After several years in this role, Alice advanced to Deputy of the Nursery while continuing as the Preschool Room Leader. She enjoys coming to work each day, witnessing the children's development and how they grow into their unique personalities before heading off to school.
