Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool

Yellow Dot Fair Oak have been amazing from day one they made us feel so welcome and looked after our little boy as if he was one of their own. For the four years our son attended nursery there, he has loved every minute, learnt so much and grown into such a caring, smart and polite little man. We cannot shout their praises enough.

Yellow Dot Fair Oak is an outstanding nursery, all staff are so friendly and they really care about the children. My son has been at Yellow Dot since April 2017, and today is his last day. Over the last three and a half years, I have never met a member of the team that hasn't truly loved their jobs. All staff are so happy and welcoming, and I have felt so at ease with them looking after my son. If you ever have any issues, they sort things out very promptly, and they are so fantastic and accommodating for food allergies and medical issues, and really listen and understand your child's needs. My son has absolutely flourished being at Yellow Dot and never have we had a day that he hasn't come home being so excited about what they got up to at nursery. The nursery is always so clean, and throughout covid, they have been absolutely exceptional. I can highly recommend Yellow Dot Fair Oak to anyone who is looking for outstanding care for their children.

Yellow Dot Fair Oak has been nothing but a positive experience for our daughter, and us as parents. She started at just 10-months-old and finished at aged four. There has always been an array of varying activities and trips for the children, great communication about her development and progress and lastly the staff are wonderful, caring and loving.

Since my little boy started in the baby room, he has been very happy and settled. He gets a little upset at drop off, but the girls are very welcoming and always use his name to welcome him. They provide activities that I couldn't normally do at home and have a varied menu for him to try new foods. It's always clean and tidy when I drop him off and he's always happy and playing when we pick him up.

Yellow Dot Fair Oak is an amazing nursery. They have cared for my daughter since she was 14 months and now at 4 years, she has developed so much. She has become more confident, she enjoys going to this nursery and I recommend it to any parent looking for an amazing nursery. Staff are very caring and they really know my daughter, all her likes and dislikes. Love seeing all the things she does on Tapestry.

Yellow Dot is a great nursery and my daughter has been coming here since the age of 9 months. She has really enjoyed her time at nursery so far and has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are all really lovely and also really helpful.

Lovely environment. Everyone is friendly and makes an effort to get to know the whole family. When I drop my son off, my elder son is greeted by name even though he does not and has never attended Yellow Dot. My son is happy, settled and well-cared for. Thank you.

Our daughter has been at Yellow Dot in Fair Oak since she was 11 months old. From our first day, we have been overwhelmed with the professionalism and caring attitude of all the staff. Our daughter loves her days at nursery and has built wonderful relationships with the staff. She has learnt so much, is a confident little girl and put a lot of that down to her time spent at Yellow Dot. Thank you so much.

The staff here are always welcoming and friendly. My daughter has clearly made some positive bonds with them. The nursery feels safe and nurturing. My daughter loves coming here and has made some good friends. She learns a lot and I really do think coming here is enhancing her development. The menu is varied and nutritious, my daughter seems to like it as she eats most of it!

Brilliant experience - son loves coming to nursery, seeing his friends and getting involved in all the different experiences/activities on offer. Always feel he is very well looked after and we are well informed of his day.

Very pleased with the level of care and support my daughter receives. The staff show their enthusiasm towards the children in all that they do for/with them. Food is great too!

I have had 2 children in Yellow Dot in Fair Oak since it opened, and I have always been happy to leave them here whilst I go to work. They have some excellent, very dedicated staff who the children are very lucky to have here.

I am extremely happy with the care my son receives at Yellow Dot Fair Oak. He has good relationships with keyworkers and learns new skills that he demonstrates at home, such as counting and colours.

The staff have made the transition as smooth as possible and we know that our little boy enjoys his new nursery environment because he is so happy and talks about his new friends at home.

Since the takeover by Bright Horizons, I don't feel that my son is as happy and there has been a high staff turnover. The move from toddlers to transition was not as smooth as other room changes. I'm not sure the staff are as happy as they were. I do feel my son is safe and well looked after though.

My child has attended Yellow Dot Fair Oak since a baby and has always enjoyed her time there. The staff have always been very friendly and informative on the day. She has built some really good friendships and also shows her learning from the nursery at home.

The nursery provides excellent care and early learning development for my son. He has excelled since joining the nursery and continues to develop at a quicker than expected pace - which causes challenges! He has gained lots of confidence and continues to interact well with others and learn new skills.
