Situated in a spacious purpose-built setting, the nursery offers a wide range of activities suitable for children ranging from 3 months to 5 years of age. Conveniently located near Winchester Road (B3354), it is an ideal choice for parents working in the area or commuting. All the practitioners are trained in First Aid and the nursery has specialist SEND staff for children with special educational needs. Additionally, a Family app is in place to keep parents updated throughout your child's day.

Within the nursery, each of the four rooms provides ample space for children to develop motor skills, coordination and engage in academic pursuits. There are also extracurricular activities, such as indoor physical activities like yoga.

The Fair Oak nursery boasts separate, soft gardens for both babies and toddlers, ensuring their safety during outdoor play. Older children have free access to a large outdoor space with room for bikes, plenty of play equipment and even a vegetable patch. Lovely nursery - the team have worked really hard to ensure our little boy has settled in well, after quite an unsettled start - he now loves coming in. Lots of care has been given to make sure he's more confident being left. It's been so nice seeing what he's up to no often - lots of panting, playing,
stories and games - with regular photos uploaded to Tapestry!

My daughter loves coming to nursery and loves all the staff in her room. I couldn't ask for a better nursery. She always tells me everything she has done throughout the day and her confidence has boosted a lot.

This is a really excellent nursery. It's a purpose-built building with decent outdoor space. The staff are the best aspect, however - the manager is great and very understanding, the rest of the staff seem to be happy and enjoy their jobs and give great care to the children. They do lots of activities,
structured and unstructured - my boy always has a great day and he thoroughly enjoys the food too.

My son started attending nursery in January 2021, he has gained confidence being around other babies and adults. Due to Covid-19 and lockdowns, he hasn’t been able to socialise with many babies of similar age.
He seems happy when we pick him up and feedback from nursery staff is that he really enjoys
himself.
Feel the staff cater well for each child and take an interest in what stage of development they are at, helping to encourage them further.

My 2 boys go here in transition room and kindergarten, they both love it and love their teachers, they both do a wide range of activities. The homemade lunches which are made on-site, my boys absolutely love and always ask for more! There's also a list on the door for the week so you know what lunches
they will be having. Everything was also handled well during the pandemic. Great nursery.

My son has been attending this nursery for one and a half years and we can only say good things about it. The staff are always helpful, polite and seem genuinely happy to be around the children. My son not only looks forward to going here for the play, or to see his friends, but to see the staff too
and that speaks volumes. They tackle issues and concerns either positive or negative with respect and urgency. Queries are dealt with quickly by the centre manager and finance teams, providing all the information we have needed or requested.
My son comes home and tells us each day of all the different activities he has been doing. We especially love to see the daily emails from the carers/teachers telling us about his progress and the activities of the day. The food seems to be varied, healthy and very comprehensive, we joke that we are actually jealous of the delicious food he seems to have!
Fully recommend this nursery, time and time again and at this time have no areas of concern or changes.

Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool provide fantastic care for our two children. Care is tailored to the child, they do fantastic activities each day and try lots of new foods, that they may not have tried at home. I highly recommend.

My child has attended Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool since she was six months old. All the staff always welcome my daughter at drop off in the mornings by name. They cater to individual child routines and keep you updated on anything they think may be beneficial to the child themselves.
Although, they of course know that parents know best and will always follow this. Her development has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery and is forever growing, the team are great and keep you updated via an app.

Feel so relaxed leaving my daughter here. She always enjoys her time at nursery and loves the meals she has there. I’m always amazed at the new things she has learned. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and I am so grateful to have found such a lovely setting.

My little boy has attended Yellow Dot Fair Oak nursery since he was 9 months old and will be with them until he goes to school. During the first lockdown of 2020, he also went to a nearby hub nursery where he continued to be cared for by many of the Fair Oak staff.
I have been endlessly impressed and
grateful for the loving care and attention he has received throughout his time there. The manager is great. The staff are kind and enthusiastic and there is real consistency of care from babies through to pre-school.


I would happily recommend Yellow Dot Fair Oak!

My 22-month-old has been attending Yellow Dot Fair Oak since January 2020. He had settled in really well and then Covid happened. Since July 2020 the whole team have really worked their socks off to continue the dame incredible level of sheer professionalism. It's next-level clean and staff communicate
through Tapestry so well. My 22 month old loves it. Thank you!

Yellow Dot is by far the best nursery I have experienced. All the staff are so supportive not only to my two boys but to us as parents too. My boys have come on leaps and bounds since starting here and I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you to all of you for everything you do.

Both of my children have gone through Yellow Dot Fair Oak. My youngest joined just at the start of the COVID pandemic, but in spite of this, she has always skipped into nursery (barely saying goodbye at times). The team in toddlers and indeed all members of staff always make her feel special. Despite
the challenges of COVID we always get a good handover of what she’s been up to and can see from their updates that they really focus on each child as an individual. The food is balanced and always enjoyed, even if some of it does up down her front. We know she’s getting a fantastic early education and highly recommend them to all who ask. Also from a personal perspective, both my husband I who work as doctors are eternally grateful for the support and flexibility of the Yellow Dot team in helping us with childcare over recent months. Without them, we simply couldn’t do our day jobs and will always be thankful for their hard work.

I have been so impressed with the way the nursery has dealt with COVID 19, not only in being extremely accommodating in lockdown but in the procedures they have put in place since. My daughter has absolutely loved attending nursery: singing new songs she has learnt, retelling stories she has listened
to and talking about the lovely key adults who work with her.

I would absolutely recommend Yellow Dot Fair Oak - both my children have attended this nursery and have loved their time there (my youngest still attends). The facilities are great and the staff are all very caring and attentive. My children moved here from a different nursery and we are so glad we
made that decision! The only slight downside I can think of is that the nursery doesn’t have a huge amount of outdoor space compared to others we have seen but I would say it’s definitely worth viewing.

I have has experience of two nurseries prior to my daughters starting here and I have to say Yellow Dot Fair Oak have been exceptional on all levels, especially during covid which takes a lot of hard work from the whole team to navigate through. I love how excellent feedback is given every week via
tapestry and how this relates to their early learning development. The manager is fantastic, so passionate about her job and I love how she and all the team remember all the children's names. My girls abolsutley love going which puts us at ease.

My 15-month-old son has been going to Yellow Dot in Fair Oak for around 6 months now and I cannot fault the care he is given there. Every staff member is lovely and they all show an interest in my son's development and enjoyment at the nursery. Each day I get a rundown of the food he has eaten, nappy
changes, milk and naps; and at least once a week they update with photos/videos onto the online journal so I can see what he's been up to and how he is developing. We are actually due to move house at the end of this year and I don't plan on moving my son out of Yellow Dot Fair Oak!

Clare is passionate and committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for all the children in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. The nursery follows the children's interests, allowing them to learn, explore, and develop to their full potential.


Clare joined Bright Horizons as a Senior Nursery Nurse and was later promoted to Room Manager, then Deputy Manager. She then worked across the group in a support role. Clare loves music and often leads music sessions across all nurseries, delivering music to both the children and the team. Singing and dancing are her passions!

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Alice joined Bright Horizons as a newly qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse after finishing college. She began working in the Baby Room and quickly progressed to Senior Nursery Nurse. Seeking a new challenge, she moved to the Preschool room and became the Room Manager.


After several years in this role, Alice advanced to Deputy of the Nursery while continuing as the Preschool Room Leader. She enjoys coming to work each day, witnessing the children's development and how they grow into their unique personalities before heading off to school.
