Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool

Overall, we are very happy with Bright Horizons Fair Oak. We feel the administration side of things could be better. We have requested a monthly breakdown of monthly invoices (i.e food, supplies, hours at nursery) but have never received this. We had an incident where our daughter was in 'babies' with confusion about her prescribed medicine. We feel there could be a more rigid system for staff administering medicine and for general medicine to not be shared with other children. The care our daughter receives is excellent. She is very comfortable at Bright Horizons. We would like to know more about what she does every day. Newsletters have stopped, which we enjoyed.

The team there are supportive, reliable and considerate, not just for our child, but for us as parents too. I've always felt my son is safe and treated as a individual. They update you often and nothing is too much trouble for this team. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool since she was 16 months. To say she has developed beyond my expectations is an understatement. My husband and I are so impressed with her vocabulary, learning, listening and how Bright Horizons has helped her to become an all-around little citizen to our community. The staff are second to none and management is always there to listen if any issue should arise and resolve it quickly. My daughter leaves Bright Horizons in August 2023 and I’m really sad to see her leave such a wonderful community of people.

I absolutely adore the staff. My daughter is so happy, and as a parent, I can not ask for a safer and friendlier environment for her. I will miss Bright Horizons so much when my daughter starts school.

We have been really impressed with this nursery ever since our child started here. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming and caring. It's a safe, clean, fun and nurturing environment. The app is great for updates and finding out what she's eaten and been up to. Our child has developed great social skills as well as the fundamentals for starting school. Our second child has started in the nursery, and we feel both kids have been really well looked after and cared for.

I will always recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.

All three of my girls have really enjoyed being part of the Fair Oak group. They have built confidence and skills and learnt so much in their time there. The staff are lovely. They do such a great job at looking after the children as well as helping them all grow and develop. I would definitely recommend the nursery and would like to say thank you to everyone there. Such a nice team.

My daughter has attended this nursery for just over 2 years. The nursery manager is wonderful, as are her team. Very approachable and any concerns are discussed and dealt with swiftly and effectively. My daughter has created some lovely bonds with the children here but also the members of staff and I know she will miss them when she goes to big school.

I've been really pleased with the service provided by the manager and her team. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. Although my daughter cries at drop off still she is always happy in photos and when I pick her up. The team in the Toddler room are always welcoming and my daughter is really fond of her key person. Seeing the foyer area set up for Chinese New Year recently was amazing, it looked really inviting for the children and great to see a bit of what they are getting up to. Thank you team Bright Horizons Fair Oak for being amazing!

My son has been attending the nursery since October 2022. He previously attended another setting and he absolutely loves his new nursery. The ladies who look after him are so approachable and lovely. Their care of my son is excellent and I would happily recommend this nursery to all.

We have had a lovely experience so far with Bright Horizons. My daughter had been to another nursery previous, and we moved her here. The staff are amazing, very attentive and make us more than happy leaving our daughter with them. We are very satisfied. The staff have made such a nice effort to form a bond with our daughter.

We couldn't have picked a better nursery for our son. All the staff have made a real connection with him and have made him feel really welcome. We have seen such a positive change in his development and that is down to the staff. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they do.

Staff that he exchanges with, as do we, are all excellent. He is very fond of them and makes us feel they have genuine care and attention for our son. The greatest feedback for me is that he wants to go and always enjoys it when he does. I appreciate the online updates and pictures of the varied and interesting activities they get up to. My issue is not concerning the nursery performance at all - but with corporate - charging for days (bank holidays) the nursery is closed is unfair - or offer credit for another day?

He has taken a little while to settle into the toddler room, but in the last couple of weeks, he has cracked it, and that is down to the team in the room that looks after him. They are so welcoming and have made him love going to nursery.

Fantastic nursery. All the staff very kind and caring and well managed. Coped really well throughout all the pandemic difficulties. Wide range of activities for children. Varied and healthy food menu. Both of our kids have loved it.

My son started in the baby room in October 2021, at 8 months old. All the staff were very welcoming and have taken the time to get to know him. They always have a smile on their faces and are always happy when greeting him. They followed his care routine well. He loves nursery and is always happy when I collect him.

My 16-month-old son has loved going to nursery. He enjoys the mixed, fun activities they do and has built a wonderful relationship with the adults in his room. The communication we receive is fantastic, with detailed observations in the day and a full debrief at collection. He comes home well fed, often well slept and most importantly, happy. Thank you for all your care and hard work.

The management and all the staff are wonderful and particularly over the pandemic have been amazing! They have been so flexible in accommodating changes to schedules when we've struggled with other childcare due to lockdowns. They have communicated well and we've felt reassured that the environment at nursery has been as safe as possible whilst it still being nurturing and welcoming for the children. I honestly don't know how we would have got through the last couple of years without the nursery - they have been our saving grace!

Our child loves it here and the staff are great.
