Acorn Day Nursery (Stanwick)

We feel so lucky to have our little girl attend nursery here. Our daughter was 9 months old when she started and it was a tough decision to find the right nursery (especially after only living in the local area for a month). It's safe to say it was absolutely the right decision, we totally landed on our feet. The staff are wonderful! kind and caring with our little girl. We've seen her development come on leaps and bounds and love that it's all child-led learning and play. The app is amazing and keeps us parents updated with their activities, observation reports (which i love - especially the photos and write ups) and general events throughout the day (food, changing times, milk times, naps etc). The meal options are wonderful, our daughter is vegetarian and she has a wonderful variety + the protein she needs to grow healthily. We fell in love with the forest school/secret garden outdoor areas + village walks. It's a beautiful nursery filled with equally wonderful people!

I'm so pleased that this is the setting he will be in before he starts school and feel it will have set him up well for his next steps.

My daughter is always excited to go to nursery which proves that she is happy being there. I feel relaxed knowing she is being taken care of evidenced by photos and communication with the staff via the app. Lovely nursery, a good environment and caring staff.

It's all a parent could ask for, and I'm so happy with our decision to put our daughter into this nursery.

The nursery is simply amazing. My son has been going here for a few months now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all friendly and brilliant with him and they make sure all his needs are met throughout the day. He loves attending

In the village and they take part in community events eg harvest festivals. Staff have also been accommodating in allowing her to stay an extra year so she can start at CSA 5. Very efficient re messages and accounts. Would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent provision that truly knows and understands my child, giving him both the space and support to grow and thrive whilst in early years. He is happy at nursery and we're so happy to have found such a wonderful space for him to be.

I couldn't recommend Acorn Day Nursery any more. They go over and above for families. I sent my first son here and when choosing for my second I was toying between a more local nursery for the commute but the benefits of Acorn just outweighed the longer journey! My son loves forest school, and the garden especially! The attention they pay to each child's needs speaks volumes. They also support parents too, with many needs, contactable over the phone or the app. I wouldn't choose any other nursery!

We chose this nursery as my daughter attended a few years previously. I wouldn't have wanted to send my son anywhere else. The staff are all brilliant and clearly enjoy working there and providing the children with interesting indoor and outdoor activities. They go outside most days and into a variety of locations. My son is always happy to attend and comes home a happy but tired little boy! Fully recommend.

Our daughter really enjoys coming to nursery and it is clear how far she has developed since starting. Overall we are very happy with Acorn nursery and all the staff we have been in contact with. As our daughter has progressed through the nursery the staff have always been kind, professional and approachable to address any concerns or worries from us as parents. It appears that our daughter partakes in a range of activities and enjoys her days at nursery. We would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

We have been really happy with both of our children’s experiences at Acorn. Currently, we have one child in Oaks and one in Acorns. The staff are always friendly and helpful and both of my children are happy to go into nursery each day. The communication is great from the nursery and everyone is always willing to answer questions if we have any. Thank you.

Acorn Day Nursery is fantastic. Our little girl has settled in really well there and enjoys every session. With lots of outdoor activities, which was one of the main reasons we chose Acorn. She is growing in confidence each week and the regular updates on her progress are amazing. Plus reading what she’s had to eat on the app is great!

I am so pleased we ended up choosing Acorn Day Nursery (Stanwick). It ticks all the boxes, from the play environment, the staff, the focus on outdoor play, the great communication and the lovely food. We couldn't be happier sending our little one there. He also has a whale of a time and has made some lovely friends.

I can't recommend Acorn in Stanwick enough! They have been great with both of my children in all 3 of their rooms. Their staff are all kind and caring and everyone goes the extra mile to ensure the children are not just cared for, but taught and happy. The office staff have always been so accommodating with changes to bookings and extra sessions and their facilities are amazing! My kids love the forest school and secret garden and always do a range of activities that they talk about at home. A super environment for kids to thrive in!

My son has been attending Acorn Day Nursery since September 2022 and has grown in confidence since going. All staff are welcoming and approachable, you can tell they all care for each individual child and their development and wellbeing. The communication throughout the nursery from admin to nursery staff is great. Regular observations and daily updates on the app is brilliant. A great range of activities and toys inside and out. A perfect environment for my son to grow, learn and most of all have lots of fun.

An amazing nursery with amazing staff and facilities, so happy our children will both go here. Staff are friendly and welcoming and really feel our little one is safe here, thank you to everyone at Acorn Day Nursery!

Our little girl only took a week to settle in and I truly believe this is due to the safe and fun environment she was going into. She now runs in without looking back and as her mum, it's so reassuring to see!
