I honestly couldn't love this nursery any more! I have one child currently in the oaks room, but have been using the nursery for the past 7 years as I have an older one at school. The nursery facilities are fabulous, both my boys love forest school, the secret garden and the allotment. Being outside was a huge part of the choice of nursery for us and this has not disappointed one bit. The staff are wonderful! From the team the looks after the children, through to the lovelies in the office, they are all kind and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Making the decision to leave your child somewhere "alone" is not easy, but I honestly couldn't felt more relaxed and happy knowing how well he is cared for. Thank you

Both our son and daughter having been going to Stanwick nursery since they were around 1 year old. They settled well into the baby room and all the ladies in there are brilliant at supporting the transition into nursery and providing all the cuddles that are needed. My eldest will be finishing his nursery journey at the end of August to start school. He has loved his time at acorns and has always gone into nursery with a big smile on his face and skip in his step. We have found the team in the oaks room truly incredible, they have nurtured and supported learning in a fun and exciting way and spend lots of time outdoors, which is much needed for an energetic little boy. He has really enjoyed the forest school sessions which he has attended much more since being in Oaks. The office team are fantastic and very fast to respond to any queries. I think a really positive sign of a nursery is seeing longstanding staff and a varied age of staff with many years of experience.

What a wonderful nursery!! Our little boy have been attending for over 3.5 years and loves it! All the staff are very friendly, caring and the level of communication that we receive following from each session is very informative. All facilities of the nursery are great, and the outdoor space they use is brilliant and always get the children involved in growing/ building various things which our little boy loves to do!

All staff are friendly, happy to help and have connected well with both of my children at Acorns. My eldest leaves the setting in August and I feel the nursery has prepared him well for School in September.

Our experience with Acorn nursery has been excellent, Our daughter has been here 3 days a week since 1 years old moving into school this year and it's transformed her into a clever , confident amazing little girl . I cannot praise the staff that has looked after her through this time enough . Professional , clean and welcoming environment , brand new room recently that is very impressive . Very secure and safety of the child in mind . Very pleased with where she has been for a very critical stage of her life to set her up for school

We feel so lucky to have our little girl attend nursery here. Our daughter was 9 months old when she started and it was a tough decision to find the right nursery (especially after only living in the local area for a month). It's safe to say it was absolutely the right decision, we totally landed on our feet. The staff are wonderful! kind and caring with our little girl. We've seen her development come on leaps and bounds and love that it's all child-led learning and play. The app is amazing and keeps us parents updated with their activities, observation reports (which i love - especially the photos and write ups) and general events throughout the day (food, changing times, milk times, naps etc). The meal options are wonderful, our daughter is vegetarian and she has a wonderful variety + the protein she needs to grow healthily. We fell in love with the forest school/secret garden outdoor areas + village walks. It's a beautiful nursery filled with equally wonderful people!

Our son is currently in his final room at Acorns and is absolutely thriving. He is a very outdoorsy boy which is one of the reasons we chose this setting and the Oaks team clearly all share the passion for the outdoors. We've also noticed that the team really focus on an individuals likes and help them to express themselves in a productive and positive way. The insights shared on the app are great and allow us to see which areas our son is particularly enjoying at the moment, we also use the app to upload things we have been doing in our own time which the team then discuss with him. Whenever there have been issues with behaviour the team communicate this well and allow us to see what might be causing it and any actions we might want to implement at home. I'm so pleased that this is the setting he will be in before he starts school and feel it will have set him up well for his next steps.

My daughter is always excited to go to nursery which proves that she is happy being there. I feel relaxed knowing she is being taken care of evidenced by photos and communication with the staff via the app. Lovely nursery, a good environment and caring staff.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorn Day Nursery (Stanwick) to anyone. When I describe it to anyone, I tell them it's exactly how you would want a nursery to be, in every capacity. All the ladies in the Acorn (baby) room are so friendly, so warm and so loving towards the children and I've never had any concerns. Our daughter's key worker in particular is exceptional and the bond she has with my daughter is so special. Seeing how much our daughter has flourished since she's been in the Acorn room has been incredible. It looks like she has so much fun every day, so many great opportunities, and incredible food and I love the developmental updates we get regularly too. Whilst the nursery is further than we would have liked to travel, I'd happily travel further for the exceptional care my daughter gets. It's all a parent could ask for, and I'm so happy with our decision to put our daughter into this nursery.

I can't recommend Acorn Day Nursery (Stanwick) enough! I was an anxious first-time mum and wasn't keen on sending my little boy to nursery but the whole process has completely changed my mind and put me at ease. My little boy loves to play there and feels comfortable with all of the staff just as he would our family and friends. The staff always update us with how he is and are always helpful with any questions I may have. I'm so glad I didn't choose a different nursery.

So pleased our little girl is able to attend nursery here - the staff know her very well (she's attended since she was a year old) and gives frequent updates via the app and in person. Healthy food range (she eats everything!) and really enjoys forest school and all the outdoor activities like village walks, playground and nature activities (eg making bird feeders). Liaison with primary school In the village and they take part in community events eg harvest festivals. Staff have also been accommodating in allowing her to stay an extra year so she can start at CSA 5. Very efficient re messages and accounts. Would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent provision that truly knows and understands my child, giving him both the space and support to grow and thrive whilst in early years. He is happy at nursery and we're so happy to have found such a wonderful space for him to be.

I couldn't recommend Acorn Day Nursery any more. They go over and above for families. I sent my first son here and when choosing for my second I was toying between a more local nursery for the commute but the benefits of Acorn just outweighed the longer journey! My son loves forest school, and the garden especially! The attention they pay to each child's needs speaks volumes. They also support parents too, with many needs, contactable over the phone or the app. I wouldn't choose any other nursery!

We chose this nursery as my daughter attended a few years previously. I wouldn't have wanted to send my son anywhere else. The staff are all brilliant and clearly enjoy working there and providing the children with interesting indoor and outdoor activities. They go outside most days and into a variety of locations. My son is always happy to attend and comes home a happy but tired little boy! Fully recommend.

Our daughter really enjoys coming to nursery and it is clear how far she has developed since starting. Overall we are very happy with Acorn nursery and all the staff we have been in contact with. As our daughter has progressed through the nursery the staff have always been kind, professional and approachable to address any concerns or worries from us as parents. It appears that our daughter partakes in a range of activities and enjoys her days at nursery. We would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

We have been really happy with both of our children’s experiences at Acorn. Currently, we have one child in Oaks and one in Acorns. The staff are always friendly and helpful and both of my children are happy to go into nursery each day. The communication is great from the nursery and everyone is always willing to answer questions if we have any. Thank you.

My son has been attending Acorns Nursery for about three years now and he loves it! He adores the staff and he always comes home telling me about the huge range of fun activities they do! The nursery staff are fantastic and I’m sure that their encouraging approach has really helped my son to grow in confidence (especially as he was a Covid baby). I get regular photos and updates on what he has been doing, how he is developing and any areas in which I can support more him at home. Throughout the year, parents are invited to stay and play sessions with their children, and I always value and appreciate the opportunity to see how settled and comfortable he is. The admin team are very responsive and goes above and beyond to support me with queries. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of the staff, the activities and the management of the nursery and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Acorn Day Nursery is fantastic. Our little girl has settled in really well there and enjoys every session. With lots of outdoor activities, which was one of the main reasons we chose Acorn. She is growing in confidence each week and the regular updates on her progress are amazing. Plus reading what she’s had to eat on the app is great!

I am so pleased we ended up choosing Acorn Day Nursery (Stanwick). It ticks all the boxes, from the play environment, the staff, the focus on outdoor play, the great communication and the lovely food. We couldn't be happier sending our little one there. He also has a whale of a time and has made some lovely friends.
