Acorn Day Nursery (Westcroft)

This nursery is amazing so helpful with me and my son and supportive when payment was overdue, they did not make threats they helped and supported me every step of the way. They are the most welcoming bunch ever.

My little boy loves Acorns. He is really happy to go in and see the staff. He loves all the activities that they do including Zumba and the Gruffalo trail in the woods, he talks about them at home. Acorns are great at making such an effort to include him and make him feel at home in the nursery. They have great activities and toys for him to interact with, a visit to the library is always a highlight for him. I cannot praise Acorns enough for all that they do for my little boy and all the children.

My grandson attends this nursery and I collect him most days, he seems very happy and the staff are lovely. We have had a bad experience with another nursery and as soon as we put in Acorns he has started talking and playing with other children. I love the fact he tries new things, messy play etc. Very happy with the whole set up.

My daughter enjoys going to nursery every day. The set up in the nursery is very natural and kids enjoy their activities all the day. They love going out for walking in the woods. The caretakers know about their kids and they look after them like their own kids. I feel safe to leave my daughter in their safe hands. The food served is the best in the nursery. The daily updates we receive is up to the mark.

My son loves going to Acorn Day Nursery and the staff are all super friendly.

My son has been for 4 years, he has had such a great time and has learnt so much. The staff are caring, attentive and keep us fully informed of progress updates via the family app. I would fully recommend this nursery as a place to get your child ready for school and life in general. Keep up the fantastic work.

We have 2children in this setting and continue to be impressed by the variety of resources and activities made available to the children. Management genuinely listen and feedback is taken on board. The staff in this setting appear to really enjoy their work and are energetic, even at the end of a long day.

Sports day was great. Was well organised and staff were great. All the children were well behaved. Great team and kids.

Forest school is a real bonus.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for nearly a year and a half and she absolutely loves it. All the staff are fantastic and very helpful. She has blossomed since starting last year and her English has improved dramatically. I would definitely recommend this nursery to all parents, who would like their children to get their hands on various activities from arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities to messy play, all the things children love.

Acorn nursery is an all-rounder in all fields. Nursery staff are very humble and helpful. This nursery also organises different events related to children and they try to develop all aspects of the children.

Absolutely the best decision to move my daughter into Acorn from another nursery. She has been there nearly 18 months and in this time she has developed fantastic relationships with the staff and other children. I love the emphasis on outdoor play and other activities that allow her to get out and integrate with the real world. The nursery has really helped to prepare her for school in September. Special mention to all the ladies in her room, they go above and beyond to ensure the children are safe and have an enjoyable time whilst being there.

Since my daughter started at Acorns in January, she has thrived and grown in confidence. Her verbal and interaction skills have come on also due to the teachers taking the time to encourage her. All the carers are lovely and my daughter gets excited every morning. She gets to go to Acorns. Thank you to you all for making it a lovely and safe environment for the children to be.

As grandparents, it was a privilege to be included in our grandson's Christmas activities. We attended the Christmas Fair all the staff were present on a Saturday morning! All so kind and obviously well liked by the children (Well organised too!) We also attended a Christmas Play. The dedication and efforts made by the staff were evident. We felt welcome and very comfortable in such a pleasant atmosphere.

The ad-hoc events (Halloween crafts) are great with including my son, even if it's on days he isn't usually enrolled for.

Both Kalla and Tyssen are very happy at nursery and as a parent, I am at ease when I leave them in the capable hands of the staff. The staff are always professional and friendly.

My daughter has been going to Acorn for over a year and a half and the progress of her development is amazing, along with the support of the staff. It so relieving to see her going in so happy and seeing how much she enjoys herself throughout the day with the app.

Lovely staff and great atmosphere! Children are learning lots of new skills through play with lovely natural and versatile equipment. My child seems to enjoy his sessions at nursery and has a connection with the staff.
