We have started going to the nursery this year with our 2-year-old daughter and we are very happy with the service provided and the staff. The communication and reports are really good and best of all, our daughter likes to be there.
Staff are extremely friendly and professional. My children learn a lot and enjoy going to nursery so much. I have never doubt safety or worry about my child while he/she is in nursery. Highly recommended.
My son has been attending this nursery since February 2018 and has always been well looked after and stimulated. He is about to leave for school and I can't recommend the nursery and its staff highly enough. My son continued to attend through lockdown as my husband and I are both key workers and the nursery were supportive and safe throughout the whole pandemic situation. My son is leaving the nursery a confident, articulate and polite young boy ready for the next chapter in his life. Thank you all and see you next year with my daughter who will be starting.
Both our children attend the nursery and couldn't be happier. Staff are great - really friendly and engaging and we think it is really good value for money. We highly recommended it to any local parents.
Fantastic nursery. Really feel they put the children first. Our kids head in already with a smile and excited. The app updates on food are helpful, pictures too. They are alert and caring and I would recommend.
My daughter has been attending since Sept 2018 and started at 8 months old. My son joined in January 2020 at 4 months old. Care and communication is unfaultable, both children enjoy their time there and can't wait to return.
Our son has been attending the nursery since he turned 1 year old. Staff at the nursery have been great with him and he has been loving going to the nursery since the very first day. We are very happy with all the aspects of the nursery and the support our son receives, so we definitely consider for our baby girl to attend the nursery in a few months time.
We like the nursery. There are a lot of different activities and our daughter enjoys going.
I am very pleased with Acorn Day Nursery, especially now that my son goes to forest school, he loves it. No matter the weather they get to go out and get fresh air.
First month of full-time nursery. My son has been looked after so well and settled in well. He has got into a great routine and has made so many friends. He loves having hugs with his key workers. We also love the family App, it gives extra reassurance that he is eating and sleeping well, and we look forward to the daily photo update.
The children have so many opportunities to go out and develop different skills. I am particularly impressed by Forest School. The many opportunities for imaginative and creative play are great. Staff are caring and friendly and enjoy their work. I am always happy to send my children to nursery as they enjoy themselves and have a lot of fun.
The staff are very creative and attentive with the children. They are always doing new events and days out with the children and family. Lovely nursery and staff all-round.
The centre is very organised and loving carers!
The staff are so friendly and caring. They know the children well and encourage and teach them so many different things. Each day there are many activities and the children are given the opportunity to try and choose which activities they take part in. All three of my girls have loved going to the nursery and have thrived here.
This nursery is amazing so helpful with me and my son and supportive when payment was overdue, they did not make threats they helped and supported me every step of the way. They are the most welcoming bunch ever.
My little boy loves Acorns. He is really happy to go in and see the staff. He loves all the activities that they do including Zumba and the Gruffalo trail in the woods, he talks about them at home. Acorns are great at making such an effort to include him and make him feel at home in the nursery. They have great activities and toys for him to interact with, a visit to the library is always a highlight for him. I cannot praise Acorns enough for all that they do for my little boy and all the children.
My grandson attends this nursery and I collect him most days, he seems very happy and the staff are lovely. We have had a bad experience with another nursery and as soon as we put in Acorns he has started talking and playing with other children. I love the fact he tries new things, messy play etc. Very happy with the whole set up.
My daughter enjoys going to nursery every day. The set up in the nursery is very natural and kids enjoy their activities all the day. They love going out for walking in the woods. The caretakers know about their kids and they look after them like their own kids. I feel safe to leave my daughter in their safe hands. The food served is the best in the nursery. The daily updates we receive is up to the mark.
My son loves going to Acorn Day Nursery and the staff are all super friendly.
My son has been for 4 years, he has had such a great time and has learnt so much. The staff are caring, attentive and keep us fully informed of progress updates via the family app. I would fully recommend this nursery as a place to get your child ready for school and life in general. Keep up the fantastic work.
