Acorn Day Nursery (Westcroft)

Acorns at Westcroft is a fantastic nursery. My child has come on leaps and bounds. It's really put him in good stead for primary school.

Acorn nursery is an amazing nursery. My child has come a long way since starting in September thanks to all the staff in his room (squirrels). I am glad he comes here, I'm very happy and so is he. I would 100% recommend Acorn nursery (Westcroft).

We are extremely happy with the care our son receives in his nursery. The staff are amazing and the kids are having so much fun. It’s absolutely reassuring and good to see him smiling and running to meet his friends when we drop him in the morning. He is learning a lot and also having a good time. We are very happy he attends Acorns. Well done to the amazing staff for the great work they do to keep our babies happy.

I am very happy leaving my 2 children at Acorns every day. They are very happy here, well looked after, they eat well, there are varied daily activities and good outdoor space. I am kept up to date with what's going on through the app and can see daily photos. Any questions or concerns are dealt with efficiently.

I love this nursery and the staff. The Squirrels room has been outstanding in looking after my high-spirited, super independent child and ensuring she has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities to explore. They helped me tremendously in her potty training too - which is no small task. Love that they actively encourage the kids to be social with each other and do both organised and free play. My daughter loves the food at her nursery - often comes home with a full tummy. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 18 months and I can’t speak highly enough of it. All the staff and management are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. My daughter has recently gone through a very clingy phase and they were so good with her and gave me lots of advice on how to handle it. The food is great too, she eats much better at nursery than she does at home! They also have forest school lessons which she absolutely loves. Really recommend Acorn at Westcroft for anyone looking for daycare.

Both of my kids enjoy their time in nursery a lot. They are properly looked after by the practitioner in the nursery. They care so much love and care. The nursery also host brilliant events for parent involvement. Must not forget to mention the daily activities being arranged for the kids are brilliant fun.

They are kind and helpful and look after the kids amazingly. I trust them completely.

My little daughter loves to go to the nursery. They have lots of different activities, games and fun. The food is good and the staff is very nice with children and parents.

Clothes could be better organised, sometimes staff say they can't find coat, bag etc.

My daughter has only joined Acorn Day Nursery since July and in such a short time she had settled in so quickly, has her arms for the girls to take her which has helped me settle too! She gets a wide variety of food and she loves playing here. Thank you so much!

Acorns have been so good for my son, he's become so much more confident in himself and with other people. We love that he gets such a varied diet, especially as it takes the pressure off dinners at home!

Lovely staff. Amazing food menu. My child loves going to nursery and settled in very well. He loves it; he loves the staff. I feel my child is very safe.

My little girl was sick at nursery. As she had vomited the staff called me and I arranged for a relative to collect her as they could arrive quicker. They told me that when they arrived the staff in the baby room were being exceptionally kind and gentle with a very poorly little girl who wasn't feeling her normal self.

This was lovely feedback to hear but I am pleased to say it doesn't surprise me at all. It is the feature I prize the most about Acorn Day Nursery at Westcroft that the staff are consistently kind, gentle, and respectful to the children. I feel safe knowing my children are looked after as I would at home.

We as parents we get regular feedback on our little one's progress and daily activities. Really appreciate all the hard work and big thanks to Acorn Team!

My daughter loves coming to nursery and is always excited to go. My daughter has thrived and I love seeing/hearing the new things she has learned. The cook is brilliant with her and the management and care. Pride in their roles. Thank you Acorn.
