The best nursery ever, such a relaxed and welcoming place. The staff are so helpful and they are so competent in their various roles. Brilliant menu and various play activities. My children love it and they have made new friends and have learnt so much. It's home away from home, my daughter says Thank

My son joined the nursery aged 2 and he immediately had a connection with his key person. She was there to settle him and kept me reassured. She made an extra effort to encourage him into the room and to join in activities before I left him. The room is always set out with inviting activities when he
arrives and he is now happy to be welcomed by all staff and settles easily even if his key person is not there. My son always enjoys his time at nursery and tells me about the activities he has done. I am kept up to date with his progress through the records that they keep. I love hearing about what he has done and the progress he is making. The management are very helpful and are always on hand to answer any questions.

My son started nursery in April 2016 when he was 1 years old and we love it! So far, we have been in two rooms: babies and growing explorers. It took a bit more time for him to settle as English is not his first language, but I could see the support all the way through. The staff are very friendly all
the time, very open minded and supportive, it's clear they enjoy their job as well. There are lots of activities every day and, importantly, time outside. I really like the fact that every child's routine and development are considered individually and flexibility of schedule. It's a bit far from where we live, but that's the only bit inconvenient and obviously our own choice. Excellent nursery!

I cannot thank all girls enough at Kidsunlimited Maidstone for the care they have provided our two boys with. From being a very over protective mum, I struggled to leave my first son, however, he quickly settled and bonded with all the girls. Following my second son's birth I had no hesitations putting
him there at 3 months old. The girls have developed our children - Our eldest is so advanced for a near 3-year-old and such a confident, well-mannered boy and our youngest is just the same. If it wasn't for us relocating I wouldn't be moving our children to a different nursery. Their last day is going to be very emotional!
There isn't enough words to describe Kids Unlimited's in terms of how much care and support they have provided us with over the past 2 years and we are truly grateful.
I would highly recommend Kidsunlimited. If you are looking for a nursery in Maidstone - this is by far the best!!

We love this nursery, it is very active, structured, with varied activities offered, great outdoor space.
Staff wise, my son has had 3 excellent, committed key workers, over 3 years (consistent which is important to me). Feedback is regular, it is positive though, I don't know if that's because that's
what there is to say about my son, or whether providing 'negative' feedback in a constructive way is not part of policy, this would be a shame if this is the case. A fair amount of turnover, but they appear to promote from within which is good for the staff.
His developmental progress is measured and its always interesting to see where he sits on the flower (indicating age ability) and what his natural ability is at this age.
It will be interesting to see how the nursery manage the coming year, where he will be one of the eldest, as he tends to play with older children, but I have no doubt they will have strategies to keep him entertained and interested.
I highly recommend this nursery.

I have two children attending the nursery and my daughter has attended for 2.5 years now and I couldn't rate it highly enough. The staff are fantastic and I feel hugely confident that my children are always well cared for. They always participate in a range of activities which they both thoroughly enjoy.

This nursery used to be fantastic with a very professional Manager which reflected in the quality of staff and I was always confident my children were being cared for to a high standard. However, over the past year the management has changed, the staff turnover is very high and is continuing to increase
and the quality of new staff is not of the previous high standard.
As a parent I find this very frustrating because the setting is ideal for children to learn and develop but it is very disappointing the passion that used to flow within KU amongst all staff, is gone.

My daughter joined this nursery in November 2015 in the baby room. I'm really pleased with the nursery and had previously heard it was very good. The girls are always friendly and welcoming. My daughter loves going here. Would highly recommend.

In nursery key persons always have been very supportive, specially when my little girl moved into the next room. She did have a very good contact with the new key person. I really liked training process, we didn't have any problems change the room and to be between other people. If there was a problem
I could talk to a person and problems quickly sorted out, problem was about nappy cream and speaking. After a few days my little girl started pointing and naming words and counting up to 5. The key person has done an amazing job, working with my little girl in small groups. We love the nursery because of lots of time spent outside in garden.

I have worked and had my son at nursery since he was 5 months old. I feel the staff are very good at helping the childrens development. I am very happy with the level of care, my child has been shown. I do feel we need more resources in the rooms as well as for the outside area.

Reception desk staffed most of the time - staff here are very approachable and friendly. My 15 month old daughter has been attending since the age of five months and loves it here. It is a very stimulating environment with a well stocked outdoor area that she loves. She is a very demanding child so
this environment suits her very well. Her key worker is fantastic and has given me useful tips to manage challenging behaviour. The menus are varied and tasty. I'm very happy with this nursery - it compares very favourably with the nursery my eldest daughter attended which was also very good (although this is my favourite).

Friendly and approachable staff very pleased with progress made by my child whilst he has been attending the nursery.
Excellent facilities including access to large outside area for the children.
Only downside is that it is expensive and there could be more flexibility re swapping my child's dates
over to attend as my employment requires a degree of flexibility with when I may need child care.

I am so pleased to be able to take my daughter to such a fantastic nursery. The facilities, location and staff are all superb. I cannot praise the carers highly enough. They have such warm, friendly personalities. My daughter has a very strong bond with 2 particular ladies in her classroom. They totally
"get her" and her little quirky personality. Would be hard pushed to find somewhere half as good!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I passed my BTEC level 3 diploma in Nursery nursing in 1995 and have worked in the early year's sector for 22 years. I also have a Level 3 in adult education, management, training and mentoring.


Where have I come from?


I was a Children’s Service Manager for Nuffield Health from 1998 to 2019, I managed the nursery, creche, afterschool clubs and holiday camps. I delivered training for the other 12 nurseries within the company and supported the opening of new nurseries within the business. I have worked with Kent County Council in their Early Help, this role was supporting vulnerable families and children.


My Family and home life


I live with my husband, 2 boys and my 3rd child, Trigger the dog.


I was raised in Bromley, and when I had my children, I moved to the Maidstone.


What is my passion?


I have 2 passions; my main passion is my boys and their dedication to becoming the next professional footballer, I attend training and matches come rain or shine, and I even know the offside rule! My other passion is early years and providing every child with the best opportunities to build a foundation to achieve.


You never would have guessed but...


My Grandparents bought me a tortoise when I was 2 years old, Tabatha the tortoise is now 43 years old.

I started my childcare career in 2014, joining Bright Horizons as part of the bank team. My journey has taken me through the completion of my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and provided the opportunity to work across all age groups broadening my theoretical and practical knowledge and experience.


I am passionate to provide the best care and quality of education for children. I enjoy watching each of them grow and develop and feel privileged to be able to share in their achievements.


In my own time, I like to read and I also run.
